They have everything a fitness enthusiast could possibly ask for: (2) beautiful, clean (saltwater) pools, spa, steam, sauna. I'm a lap swimmer, so I really appreciate these. Upstairs is a great weight and cardio area with ALL the bells and whistles, plus a great indoor walking track for the winter months. I'm not a tennis or pickleball player, but they have quite a few courts, both indoor and outdoor. They have quite a large staff, and in my experience they're all consistently professional and courteous and provide excellent service. They even have a bar with food on the premises which is normally open during late afternoon / early evening. They used to have a "junior center" here, prior to the pandemic, but unfortunately it has not re-opened since then. This lack of service and amenities for kids is my only complaint. Quite a few of the reviews here mention the fact that the building is "old and outdated". Yes, the building is older, but considering the HUGE scope and incredible variety of amenities, I can easily overlook that minor issue. In general, the staff do an excellent job of maintaining the building and equipment. One more thing, their dues are VERY reasonable, especially if you're just using their athletic / fitness facilities (as opposed to golf and tennis). Their pricing structure charges different amounts depending on whether you're a golf, tennis, or athletic member.

In my opinion, their loss. This club is not only the best bang for your buck in Clark County with all the ammenities it offers but management and whole staff (incl Jody) do a great job. Everyone is nice and helpful. Someone mentioned VTC for tennis, I am still a member there and like the classes and pros a lot, but it's next to impossible to get a court. And while the annual dues my be low, it's very expensive overall. CGM has several days of free play for men and women, they provide balls for our tennis matches and Carlos & Emory are just the best. I love the fact that it is private and they limit the membership so we can all use the facility for tennis, pickleball, gym, pools, saunas, classes, etc., when we want.

There were a lot of wasps around when we visited, and we discovered what appeared to be a wasp or bee nest hidden inside the zip line equipment. That's a serious safety hazard, especially for young children, who could easily put their hands near it and get stung. Until the park is properly maintained and the insect issue is addressed, I would not recommend bringing children here. Someone could get seriously hurt if this isn't taken care of soon.

While I was waiting to pay, the pro shop was getting lots of calls for tee times and they had to turn them down due being all booked up- makes sense. All of the employees I came in contact with were very nice and upbeat, even the guy that I told I was looking at his nuts when I was looking at the snacks they had for sale. Snacks are limited, chips, nuts, cookies and pre-made sandwiches but they have the Von Ebert Brewery on site where you can get food too. They are beer and claws in the pro shop to keep you loose during 18. IMO, the course was very well maintained. It was obviously pretty wet and muddy but it's March in Portland so to be expected wherever you go. The greens are well taken care of as well as the carts. I paid 46 for 18 with a cart. I really enjoy Glendoveer and will look forward to playing here soon!!

The group in front of us was just standing there. Apparently there was a group in front of them still trying to get on the green. Then the group behind us showed up in number two tee box behind us. After 5 minutes they rolled to us to see what was happening. I told them a 6 hour round was about to happen. I called the pro-shop. The seemed concerned. We waited another 10 minutes. We called it and went back for a rain check. They were surprised to see us. We called. They had no clue what was happening. So what did they do? They charged us for two holes of golf and gave us the prorated amount left over.... Are you kidding me. What planet are these people from. WHO DOES THAT! Complete incompetence. Never again. Beautiful course run by a ship of fools.

Then they applied that $20 to your actual racket purchase. Im new to tennis so this was a great opportunity to try without actually purchasing first as this is a big investment. The store people were very nice and willing to help! They were knowledgable and werent pushy to make a sale. Rather, they wanted me to make the right decision after trying. I was able to purchase my racket and he strung the racket up within 20ish mins of my purchase! Way to go for customer service. As I did witness some people dropping their rackets off for a later pick up time. Cons: a tad bit expensive. But the pros outweighs the cons. Cons:

I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. Before posting this review, I have tried contacting the owner several times about child safety -- with no response. Here are a couple of child safety issues I have observed: -- Instance #1: About two months ago on a week night, a one and a half year old ran out from the kids center. And due to short staffing, it wasn't noticed by staff members. Luckily, I stopped the child from running out to the gym floor. When I brought this to the director's attention, (Cindy), she said that it never happened because the cameras didn't see it happen. Scoffing and rolling her eyes. She then got back on her tablet, and ignored me. --Instance #2: The child care was short staffed. When this happens, they put the older kids with the infants/toddlers. On a few of those instances, other parents and I, have seen the older kids hurt the smaller children (violently at times). After witnessing this, I tried to find the Director and she was no where to be found. She was on "Break". -- Instance #3: Last night (4/7/26) at roughly 5:15 pm. There was one staff member to probably 20 kids. I tried to talk to the director. Once again, she rudely rolled her eyes at me. Then her and the front desk girl started laughing and mocking me. And said within earshot, "What's her f**** problem". Hopefully after posting this review the, child safety issues are addressed. And the employee culture as well. ***Review update: The owner finally contacted me, and he said all the right things. I will update the review further if changes regarding the safety issues and toxic employee culture are truly addressed. ***

The exercise areas are amazing and the indoor walking trail is really amazing in the winter if you want to stretch out and stay dry, we use it all year because my husband is blind and it's the safest place for him to walk. Judging from other reviews and what I witnessed, Kaleen might be a great 1-on-1 coach but her camps are not managed well. She looked angry/frustrated 90% of the time while her teaching assistants appear scared at her; perhaps it was due to dealing with such a large group of students. The younger and older kids are separated into different groups. Kaleen and another teaching pro (Paul?) concentrated on teaching the older students while they had teaching assistants (high-school minors) babysit the other half. I saw several young kids just standing around bouncing balls and doing nothing tennis-related for quite some time. I went up to talk to Kaleen and the teaching assistants to ask for feedback, and I did not get anything useful. Toward the end of this camp, my child doesn't even know how to hold a tennis racquet. I spent about an hour correcting things she learn and didn't learn, now she can properly hit a ball and have correct foot work. This proves that the teaching assistants didn't provide enough attention and inexperienced to teach others. I regret sending my kid there and I would never enroll at their summer camps again. Save your money for private lessons and don't expect your child to learn anything at their camps, especially if you think they will be part of the younger half of students enrolled. Advice for K-lean's Tennis: Try to focus on students of all ages in your camp -OR- train your teaching assistants to do a better job.
