I love this place. The atmosphere inside is nice, and I like how the salon is conveniently located in downtown Northville. I do not get my hair done at Tre Bella V, but I enjoy their newly added services provided by Tina. She is an amazing masseuse, and always helps me relax and puts me in my happy place. She also does facials and wax services, and often has great (combination) deals, like a facial and massage for $X - always ending up to be a cost effective way to escape from daily routine and get pampered beyond belief. read more

Baily is one of the best, truly skilled hair stylists I've ever been too. I came in with a brassy blonde that I hated & had been trying to get rid of for over a year now and after trying 3 stylists before her to no avail, I was over the moon with the results she gave me. She paid so much attention to detail making sure every hi lite on my head laid perfectly and blended well. I've been coloring my hair for 15 years and every single solitary time I go blonde my hair requires a toner because if naturally pulls gold. Somehow someway she managed to not need a single drop of toner. I was worried at first because I know I've always needed one but she offered to dry a piece so I could see the color and if I wasn't happy she would apply the toner, my jaw dropped when I saw the color. She took every step to make sure I achieved the color I was looking for while maintaining the utmost care for my fragile, thin, over processes hair. Hair. God. No. High priced hair color / cut and one week later neither are working for me. My color looks like my very faded color that I went in to have a total recolor. I think the gal matched me to my faded old color. It looks yellowish / red not a pretty sight. Hair style looked nice when she was done but I can't seem to style it myself. Cut looks off. Not happy $160 bucks plus tip and have a $10 box of drugstore color I will be putting on this week to try to give me some brown tones to fix a $160 job. Melissa I think. Nice gal. I stopped by the salon to pick up some product. I asked about some services and ended up getting my hair done on the spot. I specifically told the stylist that I wanted to keep my brown hair but add highlights. I was shocked when she took the towel off my head to see that I was mostly blonde, especially after we had had a consultation where I told her that I wanted the majority of my hair to remain brown. Within five minutes of leaving the salon, I called back and asked to speak to my stylist and voiced my concerns. She told me the soonest she could get me in was Thursday. It was now Saturday and she expected me to wait five days to fix my hair. I wasn't impressed that this was the best service she could provide to a new customer. Once I got home, I was able to see my hair in normal lighting and I was at a loss for words. This was the worst color job I've ever had. The first thing I thought was that there was no way I could go to work on Monday looking like this, so I frantically found a salon open on Sunday that could fix my hair. I called Tre Bella V on Tuesday to speak to the stylist because I wanted a full refund. I was told that she would be in at 4 and would return my call. Well, she didn't return my call. I except much more from a salon in downtown Northville, I expect more from a service business. And I sure as heck expect more from the OWNER of the salon! read more

Décor of the place is great, but most staff (especially the owner/manager and females) are more involved with their own personal discussions and conversations about themselves and their personal lives. The place could benefit from an ounce of professionalism and pound of customer service, not to mention cleaning their work areas after each client and not making their scheduled clients wait for them while they work on each other's hair.
