Everything For Skin Salon was recommended a few years ago from a few different friends. The owner Nguyet has a great personality and a gift of making people feel relaxed and comfortable. I know that having private parts exposed while doing Brazilian Wax jobs for some can feel extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Nguyet is a professional, the shop is clean, sanitary and you will be glad that you chose waxing over shaving. Tried this place today for the first time. I usually do a quick neck/shoulder waxing once a month or so. It's more pricey than most of the places I've been to (30$ vs. $10/15), which is a bit high for a job that takes less than 10 minutes. Nevertheless I'm very satisfied and I'll probably go back. I finally caved to peer pressure and found Whitt at Everything for Skin Salon on Yelp. I chose her for a few reasons, good reviews, hard blue wax option, and availability. I wasn't disappointed! I can honestly say I have never had a Brazilian so pain-free! After a once over, Whitt talked me out of the blue wax, and she was right. Her techinique using soft wax in this most sensitive area was flawless. Only twice did I suck in a little air with the tear off. But not once was the process unbearable. And now, just over a week into my fine looking Brazilian, I have no ingrowns and am looking forward to going back in a few weeks for a touch up. I went here for my first Brazilian a few months ago. I was super nervous, but the lady working there made me feel so comfortable. She was so relaxed and had amazing customer service. I was so pleased, I treated my girlfriend to a trip there for her birthday. She really liked it also. The prices are a little high, but the treatment you get is just fantastic. I have throughly been neglecting my duty on this one. I don't often post reviews, but this place is deserving of some credit for the work they do. I usually space on needing to get in to have my back waxed, which means I call the day before to get an appointment for the following day, usually at what I would expect is a busy time, and usually with only a 2 hour window. I have NEVER not had them be able to fit me in. (admittedly, I have only been there 9 times) I am a jerk because I forgot the lady's name who usually does my back, but she is SO nice. Very friendly, genuinely interested in conversation, and she does great work. I am a 6'2" 200 pound rugby player...not an easy back to wax, yet she always does an amazing job for a very reasonable price. One of the great local businesses, for sure. read more

So I heard of this place because my cousin came here and so I decided to give it a try. Plus i couldn't find any place that would do MALE butt waxes!! -what's wrong with my butt? She said I barely had hair compared to her other male clients. Anyway, it was so nice to be in my own room and in private. She told me how to lay and all this stuff and did everything to make me comfortable for my FIRST TIME waxing. -she made conversation so it wasn't all awkward the whole time which was nice and for the pain, it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. This is my go to place for Brazilians every time I'm in town. It is clean, professional, and private. A Brazilian will take you about 20-30 minutes @ $50 and will be one of the most gentle and considerate Brazilians you've ever had. Because I'm from NYC, I did have to request that she move a bit faster, covering more area in less time (which meant a little more pain) -- In NYC, it usually takes half the time. Regardless of the amount of time it takes. I will continue returning when I'm in town and in need. Great facials! I know most yelpers are a big fan of waxing here but the other services are very good and worth the money. I will only get my facials here despite living in SF with lots of great places to get a facial. Nguyet knows what my skin needs and I get a custom treatment depending on whether I'm dry, sensitive, irritated and so on. Found on yelp and read how detailed this place was. Can't say the same for my under arm wax. Normally go to European wax center, but was in a pinch. I was looking for a place to get a BRAZILIAN WAX. this place is really good for first timmers. I've seen Whit for a couple visits and have always been happy. I have even referred my co-workers to her because she is so gentle and caring and this place is VERY sanitary, unlike some other places that will re-dip the wax spatula after applying it to your skin. This place always uses a new stick when applying wax and i love that . This recent visit she was out of town and i saw her daughter for my appointment. I am visiting town and was referred by a friend to try this place out. I tried the body scrub and seaweed wrap with Whit. Very relaxing, left my skin feeling great. Only things that would have made this treatment better is if the table was heated/had a heated blanket (felt a little cold during parts of the treatment) and if a massage with the treatment would have been an option. I also heard they do a great job with facials, but I didn't try that this visit. read more
