I think it's awfully nice for Target to provide this for their customers. So you can shop for two hours while your car is being charge all for free. Came into O'Reilly Auto Parts looking for a Replacement…read morebulb for a brake light. Had a 7440 empty package with me for reference. Also a clear bulb from the socket that the orange bulb replaced. The orange bulb didn't seem to fit. Found the item in question. An customer service rep. was present. She went to the storage room to get me package #7440A with clear bulbs within. 2 different bulbs just for brakes...the clear bulbs were 50% more. Not surprising it wasn't stocked in front. The clear bulb fitted perfectly. For whatever reason, the left turn signal kept flashing quickly... At least the bulb was a right fit.

They had a vehicle in the showroom, however it was locked. When we asked if we could check out the inside, he told us that that one was not available for purchase and they just needed one to sit inside the showroom. My opinion that's not very smart to have a product that you can't show. When we asked if they had any that they could show us, he said the best he could do is we'd have to schedule a test drive. I'm already in town, I don't live in Berkeley, so makes no sense for me to have to go home and drive back on a different day. Horrible customer service, and I will not be even considering this product. If you are in the market for a vinbas, I highly recommend you choose another dealer than the Berkeley one.

I know they can't actually help me and touch my car liability issues and all that, but I'll be darned if these guys didn't help me me more than most aaa tow truck drivers. Yeah , they didn't change my tire , but they helped me with everything I needed to get it done quickly and checked up on me while I was doing it. It sucks to work holidays , but these guys were in a great mood and made everyone coming in that store smile and laugh. I had a really good experience at Mercedes-Benz of Oakland service center. This was actually my…read moreFIRST dealership service ever, so I especially appreciated how smooth and welcoming the experience was. Alejandro Rios was my service advisor, and he was amazing from start to finish. I brought my car in for a faulty EV charger, and Alejandro made the whole process easy. He gave me several next day appointment options, which made scheduling convenient, and I ended up taking a 7:45 AM (on a Thursday) appointment. Everything moved quickly, and I was done and out by 11 AM. What really stood out was the level of service. Alejandro arranged a loaner vehicle (that was arguably nicer than my car haha) for me even though I did not ask for one or necessarily need it, which I really appreciated. They also provided a digital video inspection before pickup, which was a nice touch and made the process feel transparent and thorough. On top of that, my car was washed before it was returned. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience. Alejandro provided excellent service, communication, and care, and I would definitely return to this dealership again.

UPDATE: Because apparently I needed ANOTHER reason to never purchase from or use this Mercedes-Benz…read moreservice department again and to warn others.... In 2024, I purchased all four brand NEW tires from this dealership or so i thought, as they had a deal for four new tires with a one year warranty. Fast forward almost two years later, I recently took my car to a tire shop for an alignment and was told I needed new tires. The employee looked at my tires, pointed out the DOT dates and basically said, "There's no way these are newer tires." Excuse me?!! That's when I learned the tires Mercedes sold and installed on my car in 2024 had two with 2019, one with 2021 and one with 2022 DOT dates, all four different DOT dates! So the "new" tires I purchased were already approximately FIVE YEARS OLD when they were put on my car. And no, this was never disclosed to me. Because seriously, who thinks they need to crawl around checking DOT dates when they're purchasing brand-new tires directly from a MERCEDES-BENZ dealership?! I certainly didn't. Well now you do! I later spoke with Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek about it and was told they would never sell a customer tires with DOT dates that old. They explained that even when tires are sitting unused, they're still aging and can deteriorate over time. I was told they wouldn't sell tires more than a couple years old, let alone tires that were already FIVE YEARS OLD. Had I been told in 2024, "Hey, just so you know, these 'new' tires were manufactured in 2019," would I have purchased them? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Finding this out only because an independent tire shop happened to point it out to me almost two years later makes the whole thing feel incredibly shady. How was I supposed to know that the "new" tires I was paying a Mercedes dealership for had already been sitting around for five years?! Between this and my previous experiences with this dealership, I'm DONE. I no longer trust them with my car or my money. There are plenty of other places to purchase and service a Mercedes, and Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek has shown me what the level of service SHOULD look like. Add this one to the already long list of reasons I personally will never purchase another vehicle from or use this dealership's service department again.
