Evike superstore is unbelievable. It's basically the Toys r us of Airsoft. Right when you walk into the store you are greeted by a large display case with very priceless collectibles, such as the very first VFC hk417 produced, which is signed by the president of HK. Then, when you go through the hall to the actual store you will see a Fish tank that was actually built by Atm, the people in that one show "Tanked." Then when you look around you'll be in la la land. Guns, gear, accessories. Evike superstore is also friendly to parents as they have multiple seating areas were you can sit and relax throughout the store. I find their prices to be the most competitive, however the biggest flaw I found was that their customer service and knowledge toward their products isn't too good. And sometimes you might get a lemon because they don't test their products like asgi. Which to me doesn't bother me too much because I know what I want before I get to the store and if it is a gun I'll try it out before I buy it thanks to their testing range. The best days to go are obviously anytime they are open on weekdays, or right when it opens on a weekend. Because the rush of kids come around 1p.m. Overall I would give Evike a 4/5. This new location is HUGE. They have a friendly staff, although only one knows much about guns (the Asian guy with glasses). The prices are good, and they have specials, occasionally. It is competitive to Airsoft GI, although Airsoft GI has better custom jobs. The lines take forever, but that is because when you do talk to a sales person, they never rush you, and they try their best to help you. If you know nothing about airsoft, though, I say go to Airsoft GI, first, because their reps have more knowledge, in general. There are sofas and magazines for your family members while you wait. The shooting area is finally completed, so you can fire your guns, or chrono them. Overall it's a cool store, especially if you live nearby. read more

Spent $500 + on two airsoft guns between December and March (rifle handgun) and accessories for my son as Christmas and birthday gifts. The magazines they sold me for the handgun broke the magazine release. The rifle we purchased did not work from day one. Returned the rifle to the local evike shape here in Antioch, they temporarily fixed the toy, but it is broken again. Been speaking with manager, Garrett at the corporate office, who has been absolutely no help. Garett blamed us for the broken handgun, claiming we should have known better than to buy the magazines (only ones sold a the store) despite the Antioch store manager's recommendation. I literally just waited a month for Evike to mickey mouse a defective product, rather than give me a new one. And when I get it back the gun still doesn't work. Do I need to get a refund and buy a gun from someone else? Thus far, I have bought three guns, two grenades, and two laser sightsfrom Evike.Four of these seven items have been trash. I work at a retail store. I can only imagine how bad of a shape our business would be in if ~57% of our products failed. Do all of their customers have this level of satisfaction? Their customer service people seem legit, but their products are trash. Obviously, their RMA techs don't know the limits of their abilities. The very fact that they even have an RMA department says a lot about their products and how they choose to deal with defective products. For such a small company Evike's return policies are way out of touch with reality. Amazon, Staples, Office Depot, Walmart, Target and countless other conglomerates who rule the markets they reside within go out of their way to give complete refunds and exchanges for any reason. They don't have to, but they do. They are masters of their market. On the other hand Evike is one supplier among dozens of airsoft suppliers. Evike is not a master of it's market. And yet their restock fees, exchange requirements, and return policies reek of red tape and high handedness. read more

I dont even know where to start with evike there are not many companies out there that I hate but this one has quickly made its way into that category so I was into paintball but a buddy invited me to airsoft and I liked it with less of a mess and everything so he introduced me to evike and from day 1 it has been nothing but letdown's so first thing I do is buy the QRF mod-2 from my local hobbytown but unfortunately they didn't have any extra mags for that gun so I do what I thought at that time to be the smart thing and go to evike.com and try to order some mags from them well i soon found out how wrong I was when I went to place the order evike took the money buy failed to place the order I contacted them and they said that the billing address didn't match the shipping address. Fine it was a gift card so I can see how there would be an issue or a error so I let it go and waited the 7 or 8 days it took to get my money back and just order from somewhere else. Through out all this my buddy had told me how evike had a box of awesome and it was a great deal so I waited for approximately a month for the sale to happen now this is a good deal so boxes go fast so I waited for the day and even took my break from work early so I could be ready. There is 2 minutes before the sale goes live i log onto my account and make sure my xart is empty and my address is 100% right and wait as soon as the sale goes live I add the box to the cart and go to xheck out immediately and what do you know evike decides to bend me over once more and they delete my box and instead the mags for the mod 2 magically appear in there so I try to go back and delete the mags and re-add the box and input my debit card information just to get kicked off because the sale is over (sale only lasted 2 min) so I'm highly upset and I posted a review on Google about my experience just so the person that is in charge of answering the reviews could feed me the same text book excuse they feed everyone so I have just gotten away from evike and done my shopping on other sites read more

I literally walked to Costco for some food and came back and my number wasn't called until 20 minutes after I came back. Okay so, I understand that at times logistics can be finicky, perhaps numbers, email, even contact info may be mistaken, but jeez man. First off, let's talk about airsoftcon: I was told that you would get a number on your wristband to go into the store (coming from San Diego you must understand that the best-regarded airsoft superstore I have to go in there and check it out), when we got in we were told there was two lines, one for people wanting to wander around, and the other if you knew what you wanted. Little did we know that you could have ordered on your phone instead of waiting in line for the line that was supposed to be for people who knew what they wanted. We ended up waiting a good 2 hours for our stuff to be given to us. Never was it mentioned you could have skipped the line and just ordered online as you were still going to wait like everyone else til' the end of the con. Anyway, got my Avengers vest which broke with the first use. Good thing is that they gave me store credit. Fast forward to today, I ordered on tuesday with the store credit and was told I was good to go. NOPE! They sent an email yesterday night to tell me that they miscalculated and could not ship my stuff for $7 as that was the difference in their mistake. What made matters worse is that I would have paid the measly $7 dollars if their customer service was open after 6:07 PM which is when your email got to me. What sucks is that I wanted these items for my lil brother to play with us tomorrow. I ultimately gave them a call today and their rep basically said "Welp bro, we gave you a call to the number we have on file", turns out that the phone number they had on file for me was some number that was entirely different than mine. I basically just ordered a refund because at this point it's ridiculous. Customer service, non-existent. You say you support veterans, but when a situation uprises for one you decide to turn your back and look for the easy way out instead of helping out. Adapt and overcome. read more

This store is a little out of the way from where I live, but I love coming here to check out their merch. They have pretty much everything under the sun in terms of airsoft. Shoutout to the associate that helped me out, Tim, who was patient enough to retrieve all the items I wanted to look at up close and personal. I recommend you come a list of things you want to see, but they also have some computers so you can browse their site alongside the associate. They even have a little firing range so you can test fire some guns you're looking at. I came in as a novice to the entire air soft world, but I want to find a hobby. I was helped by one of the associates within 5 minutes of walking in. He helped me find the right beginning secondary weapon for me (WE hi-capa 5.1). Very happy with my purchase and I know I will be returning very soon. It's been 3 weeks since my purchase and I went to add an adaptor to install a red dot sight. They were not allowed to do it for me. To my misfortune, the adaptor was not adapting properly. I had to wait 3 hours for them to properly trim off some metal on the adaptor for it to sit on the rear sight properly. Kevin was the gentleman that helped me. He was very apologetic. Another gentleman named Ed sat and talked with me for about an hour and a half about everything airsoft, and answered all my burning questions. The mount sits beautifully on the rear. To top it off, Kevin sat with me for 45 minutes of those 3 hours calibrating my red dot and fixing my hop up. I work in the service industry and I have to say I was pretty skeptical about being helped the way I wanted to be helped. I have been to the COVID pre-cautionary outdoor storefront a few times and I have to say it is one of the most organized, well thought-out, and safe adaptations to keep customers and employees safe. Fencing for the lines, 6 feet designations, multiple tables between the customer and employee (easily 10 feet or more away). Even while they prep your order they ask you to wait in your car or away from the area and text you when its ready! I have been EXTREMELY cautious during the pandemic and I felt safe here. First off, the staff. I was fairly new to the sport so I was asking questions about airsoft parts, products, companies etc. They were EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they love what they do and they love to talk and help others with the sport. Eric was exceptional. He remembered me from a previous visit and asked me how the parts and guns were working. I said phenomenal and I couldn't wait to upgrade my pistol with the parts I bought. He took some extra time right there on the spot and helped me upgrade 5 parts within 10 minutes! His knowledge of the industry as a whole was impressive. He knew which companies were making good airsoft products, cost efficiencies, and the applications of airsoft in both recreational and professional training environments. Came in to the store today to buy a pair of boots and a belt. I've been into the store before, didn't want to take up someone else's time that might need additional assistance, so I used the self-check out system to pick out my items, I told the cashier when I was done, and I sat down on a bench. A good 20 minutes later, they call me up to check my boots. They said the belt was on a high shelf and it should be down soon. "No problem," I said. Again I sat down. 15 minutes later, an employee came by to tell me they're still bringing the forklift around and it should be no time at all when it gets there. Now at this point, other people would be complaining; but I thought, hey, they might be busy back there. No need to give anyone a hard time. I'll just sit and watch videos on my phone. Legitimately almost 45 minutes later, I realize that no one has talked to me or even given me an update. So I get up, and stand near the cashier. After a few moments, someone finally sees me and tells me that "I don't know how long it will take to get the belt, and I honestly don't know if we're even gonna be able to." Wow. After an hour and a half, I'm told I'm not even going to get the thing I was being patient about getting. Who knows, if I stayed sitting down, would someone even come over to tell me? Here's the biggest bummer about all of this. Because I was patient and trying to be considerate of the employees and their time, I ended up wasting an hour and a half of my own. I didn't make a stink about it, I didn't "ask to see a manager." I just ended up with the short end of the stick, without my item. I was told I could come back another day for it. Really? I'm sure someone who made a huge stink about it would get "20% off," or something at least to make this right. I didn't. So I got nothing. I got a, "sorry for the wait." Lesson learned for myself - if you're considerate about other people and don't cause a scene, you don't get jack. Cause a scene, maybe people will be more aware of your time. I've spent over $2000 at this store. It's a shame to get this kind of treatment after all that. read more

Poor customer service experience I had the opportunity to purchase a gun at this location for my little brother a few months back. After the time frame, the gun started to malfunction. We dropped the gun off in store for repair. After a month had gone by with absolute no contact or communication from the store, we decided to call. They stated that they were anticipating the arrival of a part and would cal back the needy day to give us an estimated time of when it would come in. After no call back the next day, I called back to address the issue. As the gentleman stated that they were still waiting on a part, We decided to go in and pick up the gun. After speaking to the manager after the month plus time frame, he stated that he could have it ready in a couple of days and was apologetic for the occurrence. As I wanted to make it up I purchased a gun rack which was defective as it didn't have pierced holes. Additionally when picking up the gun after the poor customer service level they had the nerve to charge me for the inconvenience. Although I had negotiated the repairs at 50% off, Out of a courtesy they could've extended a complementary repair as we were buying merchandise and put through a costumer service nightmare. Truly a horrible store experience. Although merchandise is decent, truly an upsetting experience. read more

This was the worst experience ever. Waited 45 minutes to speak to a associate. There was barely any customers in the store and there were plenty of associates in blue shirts around the store and non came up to us to greet or ask if we needed help. We are a family of 5 and came to buy our 13 year old son his first Airsoft gun. This is a new sport and he had plenty of questions. Even after selecting the rifle on one of the lap tops the rep that called to ring him up didn't even go over the rifles features with him or recommend what he might need to get started.
