COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my snow gear from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located behind the store. Decent parking lot. If the lot is full, just park at Grocery Outlet and walk on over. Parking spots are also decent. Store & Staff: The store itself has a wide variety of selection. However, the prices aren't cheap. They are a bit on the steeper side. The staff here are very helpfully and kind. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

If you don't go and ask for Evan, you'd be making a mistake

I have been snowboarding for almost a decade. I've rented because I couldn't commit but since I moved to California, I decided to spoil myself and invest in a board, boots, and bindings. I was pretty overwhelmed. I didn't know where to start. A really kind guy asked me if I needed help- saying yes was the best decision I made all week! Evan is amazing. He knows SO much about all the products in the store, he asked questions instead of being transactional, he took the time to not only tell me what would work well but also gave me tips on how to take care of my new equipment. He was incredibly patient while I asked all the questions - he knew everything !!!! I was so impressed. I'll be telling my friends and people I meet on the slopes at big bear and mammoth to check this store out and ask specifically for Evan. You don't find customer service like this anymore but really grateful I happened to stop by the store while he was around. I ended up paying more than I initially thought I was but mostly because I realized I was looking at garbage quality- relative to other stores, it's a win/ win situation. I'm so stoked to get on the slopes. Thanks Evan, you're the best.

I think this store is nice because there was a large variety in snow clothes, but when we went yesterday to look for some gear they were mostly cleared out. There wasn't too much variety in bindings and snow boots, granted maybe we came a little late in the season so they were all cleared out, but it was a bit of a let down since we drove pretty far to come here. Also I was under the impression that outlet stores are typically cheaper than regular retailers but most of them items were the same as what they regularly retail for (some were more expensive?) Anyways I think this would be a good place if you were in the area and maybe went a little before snow season so there might be more things available/ in stock. But I think we came at the wrong time.

I was looking for a new board and their prices are pretty solid. I got a board, binds, and boots for a total of 580. They do package prices and mine was originally 429 but I decided to get better boots than the included package ones which added an extra 100 dollars. They set everything up for me which was great and everyone there is super helpful and friendly. Lots of great selections from clothing to helmets and goggles.

    Face covering not recovered here.

These guys want their employees and customers to get Covid . I saw this sign and went in and a bunch of folks without face coverings and no social distancing. They also seem to think COVID-19 is fake, so they blatantly promote you not to wear a face covering in store. Don't go in if you don't want Covid-19.

New boards for the season Arbor (learned they use bamboo which helps with sustainability.)

OMGGG..I can not rave enough about this place!!! Ever since a good friend recommended it to me…read moreyears ago, my fam and I have since come back for our EVERY snow need. PF Powder (aka P.F. McMullin Snowboard and Ski Co) is a cute small business ~ literally your one stop shop, specializing in all things ski & snowboard. It's located in Santa Ana in the deserted looking Edinger Business Park. They are definitely known for their discount prices on all winter/snow-related gear, outerwear, and accessories, as well as services like waxing, tuning, and rentals. When you walk in, the store is so neatly arranged and organized, it's super easy to find everything you are looking for. After coming here for so long, I legit just discovered that upstairs houses their "gently used" section, for those looking for an even more affordable option. The workers are super friendly, with a chill vibe. Everyone is knowledgeable & always willing you help you. My lil fam of 4 snowboards every year, so we have come here (year after year) to update our snow outfits, to googles, boots, snow socks, thermals, & beanies. You name it, they have it..AND we've bought it! Even when my kiddies wear younger..babies, we even got sledding/tubing gear here, so they could play in the snow. We really appreciate the affordable prices ~ ranging to discounted ones to more pricey name brands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We were greeted multiple times stepping into the store and asked if we needed any help. We just came here for a snow jacket to prepare for real cold. The inside has cool decorations, snowboard brands etc kind of like a little wooden fort. Theres even a laddered second floor where they sell 2nd hand items. The store is divided into sections for board care/rentals, they have curtained fitting space and a toilet. They even have helmets and ski shoes. The prices here for snow jackets/gear (have pants too) are definitely cheaper than other name brand outdoor places and good quality (150-200), even cheaper than some outlets (but im not too well versed in brand comparisons so dont quote me if you are seasoned). I I think accessories might be cheaper at outlets?, but its more convenient to get everything in one place. They have toe warmers and google covers. They even have the board conditions for different mountains written on a white board as if you were up there in a resort. It would be great if they had a diagram for beginners of what clothing items/essentials to get including accessories and thermal layers as the store overall is very approachable to a southern californian newbie. The only thing is that it is a bit hole in the wall, parking is a bit confusing as you do look like you're pulling up to an inn. But there is a parking lot and we seemed okay parking there for our time here. Had a good time here, would recommend it to anyone looking to get into winter sports.

It's off season so I've been itching to be on the mountains and this was the closest feeling I got. At first, balancing and being on the board was interesting and I felt like it was different feeling than snowboarding but after getting the hang of it, it was really fun! The ski simulators offer customizable difficulty levels, making them accessible to both beginners and seasoned skiers. They can be so advanced that even the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team uses them for training!!! I was amazed at how much I improved in such a short time since I've only ever snowboarded before. Plus, it's a fantastic full-body workout, burning up to 700 calories in just 30 minutes!!! Totally recommend this experience.

I had a very disappointing experience shopping here on Father's Day…read more My son was using gift cards to purchase his birthday present and accidentally miscalculated his total after adding a $63 pack of football cards. When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
