Currently they are having a up to 60% off items on sale now and they are also selling their store furnishing too. I have visited this location numerous of times over the years and have always appreciated that Orvis is dog friendly and have good quality items. On my recent visit (this past Saturday), my husband and I, along with our little girl dog, were greeted by several employees and asked if our little girl would like a dog treat (unfortunately because of her sensitive stomach, we had to declined but I appreciate the gesture). We ended up purchasing a few items for our dog at 50% off, which was nice. But didn't see any clothing that I was interested in, or my husband. It is too bad that this location is closing. There really aren't that many Orvis retail stores but plenty of authorized sellers of this company. If you want to stop and shop one more time, please make sure you do before this location closes up for good.

The Pasadena Orvis store embodies all of that plus more. My family has taken the free classes and purchased our fly rods and gear from this location. You can't get the same advice suggestions or service ordering online. If you are into fly fishing, quality clothing and outdoor items make a stop here.

It's been a while since I had this experience but today I was in Dick's and I saw Emily the cashier…read moreagain and I was reminded that I wanted to leave her a very positive review I needed to do an exchange because i bought girl socks and needed boy nike socks. But i misplaced the receipt and was unable to do the exchange for the correct item.. This was frustrating for me and i got upset but Emily went out of her way to ease my frustration with a 10$ credit towards the new purchase if the correct item and just gave overall great customer service!

I had a very disappointing experience shopping here on Father's Day…read more My son was using gift cards to purchase his birthday present and accidentally miscalculated his total after adding a $63 pack of football cards. When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
