They were super helpful in guiding us on the best choice, and strung them quickly. It was ridiculously cheap: less than $6 for three reels (two kids; one adult). They also gave our kids' free stickers. I then had a question about some nets, and the employee walked me through all of them and explained the differences of each. He was very helpful in guiding me to the best choice for me. I will never buy fishing gear or tackle online ever again. Will just go here, tell them where we're going, and they are experts and will set you right.

All you asked was "Do you want blue or orange line?" Not the same thing as saying, "Hey, this is higher quality line so it's gonna cost quite a bit more, is that alright?" However, my last two trips have been terrible at this shop and I gotta be honest. The prices here are extremely high--30-50% more than what you'll find at Big5, Turner's, or Best Tackle for identical gear. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but not when I'm made to feel rushed, unwelcome, and overcharged. Brian, the owner, follows customers around the store as if he assumes they'll steal from him. The guy isn't friendly. He offers no help or advice. He rushes you. And the prices here are downright ridiculous. Take your business elsewhere. A great tackle shop should offer respect, trust, and fair pricing--none of which this place delivers anymore.
