    excellent equipment!

I've been coming here for almost 6 months now and can't say enough good things. I'm very active--training at the gym and playing soccer about 6 times a week--so staying healthy and avoiding injury is critical for me. Whenever something feels off, Kathleen consistently identifies the issue right away and gets me back on track with targeted exercises that actually work. The focus on strengthening weak areas has made a huge difference in both my performance and overall durability. I highly recommend this place to anyone--whether you're recovering from an injury or just want to stay in peak shape for sports.

I wouldn't hear about 10 times. The staff is very nice friendly and knowledgeable. They are very enthusiastic about their work and our fun to be with. I took some of the group classes with Bastion and they were great. Kari is very enthusiastic and pushes you to be better.

I have stayed all this time because it became more than a space to train and hang with my dog, this gym connects you to an amazing community filled with so many great athletes. Powerlifters, weight loss coaches, booty building coaches or just generic training athletes. This gym has so much to offer, there are tons of squat racks in the powerlifting room and an incredible amount of machines in the body building room you will not find in commercial gyms. There are foam rollers left and right and I've never had an issue with anything with this gym. One of the owners Gus is pretty amazing at fixing things so you will never really see a machine out of order for any longer than a few short days. There's a vending machine in both rooms, one is for drinks like Gatorade's, pre workout cans and water. The other is filled with protein snacks, bio freeze patches and mini deodorants! These change periodically, there is an outside vendor that comes in to restock and change what these vending machines offer. So much variety! We love. If you are in the area it is worth a day pass for sure, these are purchased ahead of time as someone from staff will need to coordinate to let you in as this gym gives all members a personal key fob to enter. Systems training center camp review:…read more Our kids had an amazing experience at Systems Training Center Summer Camp! Every week brought a new theme that kept them excited to come back--from movie making and engineering challenges to building a utopian city and exploring cultures from around the world through food, dances, and traditions. The camp does a great job balancing indoor activities with fun walks outside, giving the kids plenty of opportunities to stay active while learning. More than anything, it's a safe, encouraging environment where kids can be loud, get messy, make mistakes, learn from them, and build confidence and independence along the way. The staff truly cares about the kids, and you can see it in everything they do. If you're looking for a summer camp that's fun, creative, educational, and helps your child grow, I highly recommend Systems Training Center. It's a place every parent should consider!

Important note: This review pertains specifically to the Systems Training Center Summer Camp, not…read morethe dojo's regular martial arts instruction. My son attended the summer camp/day program only and was not enrolled as a regular martial arts student. I enrolled my son hoping for a fun, safe, and well-supervised summer experience. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I would not enroll him again. The camp often felt disorganized and seemed to operate without much advance planning. Activities appeared to change from day to day, and there was little evidence of a structured program. The first warning sign came during my son's first week. After only a few days, he came home, burst into tears, sobbed in my arms for more than ten minutes, and begged me not to make him return. He described the environment as "overwhelming" and "overstimulating" because of the constant screaming, yelling, and disruptive behavior from some campers. Those concerns continued throughout the summer. To be clear, I understand children sometimes struggle with emotional regulation and behavior. My concern is not that children are expected to be perfect. My concern is that I expect adults supervising a children's camp to appropriately manage disruptive or aggressive behavior, protect all campers, and provide an environment where children feel safe. Based on both what I observed and what my son consistently reported, I did not feel that happened. For example, my son reported that one camper became upset during a game, ran at him while screaming, and grabbed at his clothing. He also reported this was not an isolated incident but part of a pattern of repeated screaming, tantrums, and disruptive behavior from this camper and another camper that made him increasingly uncomfortable attending camp. My biggest concerns, however, involved supervision and safety outside the dojo. My son reported that counselors took campers on neighborhood "ninja walks" and encouraged them to practice parkour on nearby structures, including climbing a structural wall at a neighboring apartment complex using decorative rocks as footholds. He also reported a counselor challenged the children about who was "brave enough" to jump from what he estimated was a very high wall into an enclosed area below. My son declined to participate because he felt uncomfortable and became so distressed that he cried. What surprised me most was that I was never informed campers would routinely leave the dojo for these neighborhood activities. Nothing in the written materials or waiver explained that campers would be practicing parkour throughout the surrounding neighborhood. The paperwork states parents would receive advance notice of field trips. In my opinion, taking campers outside the dojo and throughout the neighborhood constitutes an off-site activity that parents should be informed about beforehand. When I later spoke with the camp director, she confirmed that these neighborhood "ninja walks" are a regular part of camp and stated they have permission from neighboring property owners to use parking lots, areas between buildings, and other structures. That was the first time I had heard that explanation. She also said part of the camp's philosophy is "stretching the kids to their limits." While I support helping children build confidence and resilience, I believe those challenges should occur in a carefully supervised environment with clear communication to parents. I also had concerns about security. During the entire camp session, I was never asked to show identification when picking up my son. On multiple occasions, counselors were on their phones when I entered the dojo and did not even look up to acknowledge who had come through the door. The surrounding neighborhood also concerned me. During drop-off and pick-up, I observed several individuals who appeared homeless and/or intoxicated. One individual in particular was dirty, disheveled, and wearing torn, soiled clothing. I watched him stand outside the dojo for several minutes with his face pressed against the glass doors and his hands cupped around his eyes so he could look inside and watch the children. Learning that campers were routinely taken on walks through this same neighborhood only increased my concern. When I discussed these issues with the director, I did not feel my concerns about supervision, behavior management, communication with parents, or safety were meaningfully addressed. Every family has different expectations, and some children may have a wonderful experience here. This review simply reflects ours. I was looking for a camp with consistent supervision, proactive communication, thoughtful behavior management, and strong safety practices. Based on what I personally observed and what my son consistently reported, I do not feel this summer camp met those expectations, and I would not enroll him again.

It's very small but has enough equipment that people aren't just sitting and waiting for people to be done. They have different promotions every month for each tier of their membership but I just did the lowest one cus it's $17 and I live very close by. I haven't used the gym to its full potential cus I'll only do stair master or a machine or two. **Extremely deceptive billing and cancellation practices -- stay away from Blink Gardena**…read more I strongly recommend staying away from Blink Gardena. My experience with their cancellation process and billing has been absolutely unacceptable. Here is exactly what happened: **February 27:** After I moved away, I called Blink Gardena and asked to cancel my membership. They refused to cancel it and told me that I was required to continue paying until I had completed the full one-year commitment. I was unhappy with that, but I accepted it and continued paying as they required. **August 3:** After fulfilling that obligation, I called Blink Gardena again and clearly asked them to cancel my membership. A male employee at the front desk told me, **"Okay."** I had every reason to believe my membership had been canceled. **August 4:** I checked my account and discovered that immediately after my cancellation call on August 3, Blink had charged me **another annual fee for a second year.** So I called them again and asked a very simple question: **I called yesterday and you told me my membership was canceled. Why did you charge me another annual fee immediately afterward?** What happened next was unbelievable. The **same male employee who had told me "Okay" the day before** then demanded that **I provide proof that I had asked to cancel my membership.** Seriously? I was speaking to the same person who had personally taken my cancellation request less than 24 hours earlier, and now he wanted *me* to prove that the conversation had happened. How is a customer supposed to provide "proof" of a verbal cancellation request made by phone to your own employee? More importantly, why should the burden be on the customer when Blink should have its own account records, employee notes, call records, and billing history? The sequence of events is very simple: I asked to cancel after moving on February 27. They refused and required me to keep paying for the full year. I complied. On August 3, I called again and was explicitly told "Okay" when I asked to cancel. Immediately afterward, they charged me another annual fee. When I discovered it the next day and complained, the very employee who had accepted my cancellation demanded that I prove I had canceled. This goes far beyond poor customer service. In my experience, these billing and cancellation practices are **extremely deceptive and predatory**. Making it difficult for customers to leave is bad enough; charging another annual fee immediately after a cancellation request and then pretending the customer must prove that the cancellation request happened is outrageous. If you are considering joining Blink Gardena, **document EVERYTHING.** Do not rely on a phone conversation. Get cancellation confirmation in writing, save every email and screenshot, record the date and time of every call, and closely monitor your credit card or bank account afterward. I would absolutely never recommend this gym.
