I was expecting to have to wait a week or two to get the car back, but he worked me in and got it back super quick when they had a cancellation! They went out of their way to even remove some pinstriping from the replacement parts so that it matched the rest of the car. They buffed out the replacement headlights so that my daughter would be able to see better and they even Changed out a brake lightbulb for her. The shop manager told me that even though I would be paying the same hourly rate as other smaller jobs, he did not want to have his staff do it because it was too hard. He said that he would rather do a bunch of smaller jobs such as brakes and oil changes than one large larger job even though the pay would be the same. This doesn't make any sense to me at all. He indicated that he was too poorly staffed, lacking Talent to complete larger jobs. The manager was engaging and was polite, but at the same time, dogmatic and insulting to a degree. Not recommended, keep on looking for a shop that is not afraid of your car. I wouldn't be surprised if they come on here and try to turn this around and state some positive things about their business in an effort to use it as free, marketing or advertising, but, enter at your own risk. Is there anything less than one star?

A deer damaged my left front side of by car due to not crossing in a crosswalk. They even detailed the engine compartment. My great Pyrenees rides in my car and they got every spec of dog hair. I felt bad for the detailed. I also recommend them to just detailed your car.

I like Flynn's Tire. I was a little surprised to see the negative reviews. Granted, I don't know a…read morelot about vehicle repair, so it's possible that the others know something that I don't. I've taken my truck here twice for tires. The first time, I had a puncture in my tire (unfixable) and they got me in immediately at 8am, changed it real quick, and I made it to work on time at 9am - they even asked the mechanic to work especially quick, knowing that I had to rush to work. The second time, I had the other three replaced. Their prices were cheaper than Goodyear, Firestone, and Walmart. Also, they accept Goodyear Credit Card, which is convenient for surprise repairs/maintenance. One time, my gf needed some wiring or something repaired (had something to do with her brakes. I wasn't there, so I dont know the exact problem). Flynn fixed it for $200 cheaper than what she was quoted at other places in Kent Ohio. Also, they allowed me to pay for it on my card over the phone, which was convenient. One of the other reviewers recommended Main Street Auto in Kent. In fact, I've never heard a bad word about Main Street Auto. Unfortunately, they're always very busy and they don't take Goodyear Credit Card. Flynn has been reasonably priced and has always been very timely. Notably, they are part of the echeck waiver program. If you don't know what I mean by that, then it's irrelevant to you. If you have failed echeck (or fail in the future), then an auto repair facility that's part of the echeck waiver program could potentially be very helpful. I'm not saying you should definitely take your car to Flynn's for repair or for new tires, but I recommend putting them on your short list to consider if you need those services and are in the Kent area.
