My mother lived in Claremont Park for 2 1/2 years, and it was a godsend for us. This property is quiet, extremely clean and well-maintained. George, the property manager, does an amazing job and is incredibly responsive and kind. Alfaro, the maintenance manager, was also very responsive, and all maintenance concerns were addressed with minutes of them receiving it. It is close to the village of Claremont and has nice pathways throughout. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. read more

I no longer live at Claremont park because I moved in with some friends! But I would continue living there if I could. It is such a cute and SAFE area. It is walking distance to the Claremont village which was a huge plus for me. There are a lot of families in the units so it's very nice vibes. George the property manager has always been so kind and accommodating. Even though I don't live there anymore, sometimes my packages get send there from non-updated addresses and he even helps me out with that. When I lived there issues with plumbing or anything otherwise would get fixed in a timely manner once I put the request in. If you are looking for a place to live, this certainly is a nice spot! read more

I have read all the reviews and all of them mentioned George, which I tried to mention, too. I've been searching for lots of apartments and most of the complaints were about their management office. This one, however, is totally different. I can communicate with the office in various ways. And the response is very quick. Especially my unit was renovated recently so it's very clean and I like it. Personally, I think George should open some schools to show how to run management offices for apartments. read more

I will be moving to the area soon and decided to check out this community. I called other places and hardly any response back. But this place was prompt and responsive. I called and spoke with the manager. He was friendly and helped answer all my questions. I'm made an appointment and toured the 2 bedroom. Nice layout, clean and spacious. Amenities like the pool and common areas are also well kept. Only downfall was that there was no central AC. Overall, I was impressed during my visit. Rental prices are decent and comparable to the other places. We have a few more months left before we move but this place looks promising and high on our list. read more

George and the staff were excellent, always responded to any repair requests, etc. Me and two others stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. We loved the kitchen and that The unit had stacked laundry. The pool is nice and never too crowded, the gym has a decent selection of equipment & the dog park is medium sized with some fun interactive pieces for your pup. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful to walk in, with a park and dog park just down the street. I would 100% recommend living at the Claremont Park Apartments if you're considering making the move to Claremont. read more

Former resident, lived here from 2015 - 2017. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Indian Hill Villas / Claremont Park Apartments. Big reason is the management. George was always super responsive to issues or inquiries. If I couldn't reach him by phone or if it was after hours, I'd shoot an email over and it was responded to very quickly. Moved out into a much larger property with a garage, otherwise, I was generally happy with my stay at this complex. Pros: -Management is very non-intrusive, yet very responsive. -Property is generally kept very clean and well-manicured. -Gym is small, but it has a sauna, tv, and water dispenser (great touch as my current residence has a gym, but no water dispenser). As this space is also shared with the office area, there's also complementary coffee (and a Keurig machine). -Proximity to downtown Claremont and Metro trains. -Pet friendly.... they added a dog park and there are a few doggie bag stations across the property. -Very reasonable move out process. I didn't get nickle and dimed for cleanup or repairs when I vacated. Cons: -Living below college students sometimes challenging, particularly on weekends when parties were thrown. I'd find several cigarette butts and red disposable cups that where tossed into my balcony (though I took matters into my own hands and sent that trash back up where it came from). -Homeless and/or dumpster divers can be a problem. This is probably more to do with the proximity to the 10 fwy than anything the property management can help with. -Laundry facilities were a challenge. There were only two (though I know this is/has been addressed with in-unit washer dryers that weren't available when I first moved in. -Parking was sometimes challenging. Even with assigned spaces, property visitors would park in my spot. I think this can be alleviated with more signs that subject violators to being towed. read more

While there are definite pros and cons to living at Claremont Park, the cons are made worse (and most could be prevented!) by the incompetent staff. Case in point: In January, my apartment flooded and many of my belongings were ruined. This was before they mandated rental insurance, so I had to pay to replace my belongings out of pocket. The flooding could have been prevented if the property manager made an effort to walk around the complex once in awhile, as water was noticeably building up in front of my building whenever it rained. Any normal apartment manager would notice the build-up of water and do something about it before it became an issue. Not the property manager at Claremont Park. He made us walk through calf-deep puddles of water (I am not kidding), and waited until property was damaged before even making an effort to get the drainage fixed. To my knowledge, it still hasn't been fixed, so proceed with caution before renting in the 520 building. Just a sampling of other things I dealt with throughout my tenancy: 1. Hot water issues that resulted in NO HOT WATER for up to five days at a time. I had to make arrangements to shower at friends and family members' houses, sometimes at the last minute. The lack of hot water usually occurred after the water was turned off for "upgrades", so take those upgrades with a grain of salt, as most upgrades resulted in something else going awry. 2. Water discoloration that was so bad it actually STAINED my bathtub yellow. When I asked the property manager to refinish the tub, he initially refused saying it was due to "housekeeping issues", implying that I don't know how to clean a bathtub. The tub was refinished only after I resisted, and demanded that it be fixed. When he came to look at the tub himself he agreed that it wasn't a housekeeping issue and promptly fixed the issue--no apology for the insult, though. 3. I had a lack of water pressure in my kitchen that I eventually stopped complaining about because they kept "fixing" it and it never actually got fixed. The issue lasted upwards of six months. 4. The tags were stolen from my car on Thanksgiving. When you move in, take a look around at all the "cameras" they advertise on the front gate. Yep, there's only one...conveniently located in front of the office. There are none in the parking area, which is where I'd presume most of the crime is taking place. Please note: this complex is not unsafe in the slightest; I lived alone and never felt concerned about my safety, just pointing out that the parking area is not monitored. 5. Ever since the new management company took over, I noticed a steep decline in the quality of work, both in my unit and in the common areas. Example: the cement pavement outside of my unit has been left unfinished for the past six months. When I complained, the property manager tried to come up with some excuse for it being unfinished but, at the end of the day, there really is no excuse besides poor management. 6. The hot tub was 50/50 with how hot it is. Some days it was decent, other days it was hardly warmer than room temperature. It was so hit and miss that I got into the habit of running outside to check the temperature before actually putting on a bathing suit and heading to the pool area. All of these issues (most of them repetitive and/or never fixed in the first place) caused me to break my lease six months early. I thought the management company would be understanding and relieve me of any penalties, especially since it was THEIR incompetence that was essentially forcing me to leave, but nope. They tried to stick me with a $3,000 penalty. Fortunately, I found someone to take over my lease on Craigslist and the rest is history. Now for the pros: it's walking distance to the village and VERY quiet. Some more advice: keep a physical record of every single request you make. try to avoid making maintenance requests in-person or over the phone, as the property manager will conveniently forget about the issue when it's brought up in later conversation. keep records and protect yourself from a large corporation like this taking advantage of the little guy. read more

I've had issues with my window screen breaking and he resolved this within 24 hours of me bringing it up. I lived at Claremont Park for a couple years with my son. We loved it here! The pool is amazing, the grounds are always clean and inviting, and the neighbors are friendly! George, who is the property manager, is always around, available, reliable, and all around on top of things. If I could leave zero stars I would! I am so glad our lease is up in less than a month! Over the 6 years we have lived there we have had mice, rats, roaches, water damage, mold, and 3 vehicle break ins! None of these were due to our own fault. Not to mention no security! Cameras don't work, the gates don't lock, and the police are nonexistent. If you love bugs, critters, criminals, and tweeters this is the place for you. Management can't do anything for you unless approved by corporate. Days will go by and when you call back they'll deny you ever calling. The maintenance guy wears a sweat stained dirty polo shirt with his belly hanging out and doesn't do anything than sweep the parking lot occasionally. The pool area is a bathing haven for the homeless, littered with trash empty beer cans, empty pizza boxes and cigarette butts. Save your money and move to college park. read more

He was very professional and answered all my questions that I had. I absolutely love the community but I am not looking to move until June. I LOVE living in Clarmeont Park apartments. The apartments are new and clean! It has a very nice gym, pool, and a jacuzzi to enjoy, and personal parking spaces. Most importantly, George Torres, the apartment manager made my experience here amazing. Whenever there was a problem that needs to be fixed, he would be on it right away. He is very approachable and easy to talk to, so it was great for my roommates and I to address any concerns or questions that we had. George is very helpful and we have decided to stay at Clarmeont Park. Thank you George and Clarmeont Park apartments for making our experiences in Clarmeont wonderful.
