Shopping and dining in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii... There's an old school strip mall that has been around a long time: Waimalu Shopping Center There used to be a Zippy's here, but not anymore. That's okay because there are so many more shops and restaurants... And free shared parking! Here are a few better-known businesses... Kabuki Restaurant and Chun Wah Kam might be the most popular restaurants here, followed by Shiro's Saimin Haven and Kapiolani Coffee Shop. Many locals like Baldwin's Sweet Shop, Ezogiku, Tea Spot, and Jackie's Diner. Remember to go inside Palama Market and visit Von's Chicken. Newer tenants include Straight Outta Husk, Catania, and S7 Icy Bubble. They're all great! My new favorite store is VH07V. I like their statement - "when you look down at your heart, you see ALOHA"! They not only have shirts and jackets, but also caps, tote bags, key chains, and stickers! #alohaRevolution I still need to try Nagoya Bakery and Ohana BBQ & Sushi... I'll be back soon!

I head over to the Waimalu Shopping Center for food and tea/coffee drinks. Has a variety of choices- Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Puerto Rican restaurants and more - to choose from. I like the ample parking- usually pretty full of cars but I can usually find a stall. This is the area where an American Savings Bank atm was pulled from the wall. Also the place where Macky Freary of Kalapana was arrested for domestic violence against an ex since people live on the second floor. I usually only come to the shopping center during the day or early evening so I never see drama. Knock wood. Good value for your money in my opinion. The service by most vendors is ok and mostly language differences or word pronunciation will be the stumbling blocks

This is the spot for local grinds of all kinds! Get a little filled for parking but worth the hassle!

Great places to eat! We frequent there often. We just don't look forward to finding a stall. . . . .

Shopping center management has repaved the parking lot. Not the best job but better than what it was.

Decent offering of businesses (e.g. Palama Supermarket and the pho restaurant), but the parking lot needs some serious repaving.

Shopping and dining in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. I didn't know the name of this Shopping Center until Peter Y. told me. I described it as: McDonald's on one end and TJ Maxx on the far end. In-between, there are stores like Longs Drugs Store, Petco, Sally Beauty Supply, Rokaru, and Foodland Farms. There are two small buildings across from the long strip of businesses. One building has shops such as Hana Tea and AT&T. The other building with Dunkin on the corner has a nail salon. He took a while to think, but he figured it out! It's not even in Google, but my friends, Rachie, Liza, Malia, and Joyce, wrote reviews for Pearl City Gateway! I've been visiting this shopping center often because Longs, Dunkin', and TJ Maxx are within walking distance of each other. I like this Dunkin because it opens earlier than the Pearlridge location. Thanks for the great selection of shops and free parking!

The gateway to it all…read more.. From McDonald's to TJ Maxx this shopping center is home to many local favorites all in one area making it a convenient stop to have lunch, shop and even get your pedicure done all with lots of free parking. Located just down the street from Pearl Highlands this lesser known named area is a place that many have been myself included out of convenience as the last time was for Hana Tea with my bestie which later turned to a retail therapy session at TJ Maxx we laughed and reasoned with our choices. One stop shopping is at this great place along with various services not just saves time but supporting various local businesses is always something I do love and they offer that here. Thank you!

Who's down wid' DEALAGES???…read more Bruddah Fran is gonna be generous & share da 411 with ya. Did ya know on Oahu we actually have an outlet mall? If you're interested in looking to DEALAGES, just head on down to the Westside (in the Waipahu area) because the Waikele Premium Outlet stores is there! There are so many stores here, so when you do visit the Waikele Premium Outlet, hopefully you'll find a store that will appeal for you. As for me, a few of my favorite stores I like to visit is - the Lowe's hardware store, Reyn Spooner, & the Van's shoe store. Beside shopping, the outlet mall also has restaurants, a small food court, & numerous food trucks in the parking lot so finding something yummy to eat shouldn't be too hard. Parking here is a breeze, as the outlet mall has ample parking. If you don't have a car, I noticed a lot of tourist would catch a shuttle to this outlet mall. I guess you just gotta do your homework to see the transportation options before coming down here. Here's a link of the Waikele Outlet Mall - https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/waikele/stores

From office supplies to bath products - there's something for everyone. I went in for one item and left with more things than expected. Mostly Japan imported goods with a price tag; if not - price is $2.25. The beginning of each aisle has a sign with prices. So far, everything I've bought was $2.25 items. The items may not be of high quality but you get what you pay for. However, I did buy some well-made, durable items. All sales are final by the way. I like the customer service here. They're helpful, informative and pleasant. One clerk, who was stocking, stopped what she was doing and took the time to explain and show me the price system. Since I haven't been to Daiso in years she refreshed my memory. The cashiers are also pleasant with a laidback disposition. A guy who rang me up today at the far right register stood out. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. Just the way he told me to have a good day gave off vibes that were so genuine. Don't pass this place up if you're in the Pearl City Shopping Center. It reminds me of a novelty shop with all kinds of stuff and gadgets.
