This is the perfect little shop to go to on a hot day. They have all sorts of little snacks and toys lining the walls. This place is just as good as Matsumotos without the drive. Super cheap prices and I love the raspberry shave ice. They offer it with condensed milk or you can ask for ice cream at the bottom of the cup. I love walking down here with my husband at night. This is the place to get shave ice in Ewa Beach! and the only place I know that has the "blue Hawaii" flavor! Its a real small shop at the corner Ewa town center. The man there is really friendly. When ever I hear/see Ewa Seed Company, one products stands out from the rest: Shave Ice. Their shave ice is so juicy, it's not like the others where there's more ice than syrup. I always get the honeydew melon with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom and the best part is, the ice cream doesn't melt when I reach to the bottom! They also have a wide variety of li hing mui products along with other famous hawaii treats. read more

This is a small hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop store. Today I finally tried their shaved ice and it was awesome. They are very generous with the servings because a small is more than enough (in my opinion). And the shaved ice was way softer than I expected. I absolutely loved it and so did my kids. I was craving Shave ice one hot Saturday. The closest thing was this. Since I live just across the street. So we went in and its this cute little shop that sold cold treats and a cute store that sold toys. I ordered a strawberry shave ice with ice cream and mochi balls. Great place to get shaved ice. Very cheap and have plenty of flavors to choose from. The staff is very friendly as well. I like the location but wish it was bigger place because it can get very very crowded in there and sometimes that can make the staff stressed out. We bring the kids here all the time. Always gotta get the one with the ice cream at the bottom. We like the fact that they have punch cards as well. I became a regular here because it was so close to my home. I went here the other day ordered my typical strawberry with ice cream and snow cap and even added on mochi. Unfortunately after eating my shave ice and snow cap which tasted so good, I got to the mochi and it tasted horrible!!! Like old old mochi. Thats okay I thought I can just get without mochi next time. So I continued on with my shave ice and got to the ice cream and I realized the texture was weird. When I looked at the ice cream it looked like there was a layer of liquid frozen on top of it! Kind of like when ice cream melts into liquid form and then you put it in the freezer the liquid freezes on top the cream!!! It was so grosse!!!! When we took it back in and showed the girl and the guy they were willing to refund my .50 cents. But in my opinion since they ruined my WHOLE shave ice they shouldve refunded me that or gave me another one at least. Very disappointed!!!! If it wasnt for all the other times I got better service from the owner it'd probably be a 1 star! read more

4 out of 5 stars because the wait can be very long. But in their defense it gets very busy and normally their is only one worker doing everything from taking orders in the shop, answering the phones and making the shaved ice. In the few times I've been there I've dealt with the owners grandson and he's really polite and great at what he does. I love the nostalgia of the place with all the rubber band gun toys and old school candies. Not to mention the shaved ice is pretty cheap. It's always a good feeling knowing that you're supporting local families and businesses. read more

Excellent little shop for local snacks, but I have to stress what a great job Ewa Seed Company also does on favor bags and gift baskets. Please please please consider consulting with Dean and his staff if you need to add a special touch to your personal or business gatherings. A couple months prior to our large staff meeting, we ordered nearly 70 favors in addition to several small baskets. Even though we had to make a couple adjustments to our order along the way, Dean was incredibly accommodating and maintained very open communication with us throughout the entire process. All items were ready prior to our requested deadline, and he was super helpful as we arranged for payment and pickup. read more

Was visiting my mom in Ewa Beach and jonesing for shave ice. Didn't know where to find a local place until I Yelped it and found the Ewa Seed Company. The shave ice was great with lots of tasty flavors (we tried 5 different flavors)! It's a super small store with a line that snaked out to the outside. They also sell salted prunes; dried, salted mangoes; dried squid... all the Asian snacks I grew up with as a kid. Yummy! read more
