I had previously gotten Botox at my old work YEARS ago for migraines and wrinkle preventative and I loved it. I always thought the doctor I worked with was conservative, and since the Botox I got from my boss was free it made more sense that she went conservative. But I was very wrong. If you want results but also something conservative Jessie is you're person. I told Jessie how many units I typically got and she did 6 units less. It doesn't seem like a big deal but it is. Instead of doing my forehead which my doctor usually did Jessie opted to only do my lateral eyebrows and my glabella (the frowning wrinkles). I saw results within the next day, and 80-90% results by the second day. My migraine was skipped this month (monthly hormonal related migraine) and my brows are lifted giving me a more awake look. I'm so pleased it's unbelievable. Not only that Jessie gave me advice as to not get Botox until after my second baby is done breast feeding. I'm not pregnant but plan to get pregnant. TBH I was scared of going to anyone else after some serious disasters over the years. However after realizing I had over tweezed and shaped my brows too thin over time, I made the choice to grow them out and go to Kaitlyn Zenger. Normally I would just grow them out and reshape them again myself, however Kaitlyn's reputation of being an amazing eyebrow specialist has grown tremendously since meeting her in school. I knew she was the one who could help me and I could trust her to do what I needed with no traumas. I went to beauty school with her and she's always been known to be a wizard with waxing...specifically eyebrows even from the first service she performed on a client. Eyebrow shaping really is an art and not everyone can do it right...even after good training. She is a complete natural at it and does it in a way that is less painful than anyone else I've ever had wax me. She's incredibly thorough, friendly and professional. She even gave me some great recommendations to help me with my brow journey. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since I've gone to school and know proper sanitation protocols I'm super conscious of infection control and cleanliness. Everything from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was spot on and on par or above state regulations. That in itself should sell you on this place as at least 80% of other places that offer waxing services aren't abiding to sanitation regulations, don't practice proper infection control protocols and/or use subpar products. When you're dealing with waxing and vulnerable skin you NEED to be knowledgeable and aware of what to look for and know you're in a clean place. I can't recommend Kaitlyn enough. But I finally went and treated myself. And here we are. Vigam was an all around great experience. I am the proud owner of the lovely non existent upper lip. I remember back in the day of dating my husband...when he so lovingly was looking at me gazing with stars in his eyes, then casually saying..."you are so pretty....well except for maybe not your upper lip." ! Whaaaa??!! Yes, he stung me with that insecurity and I never forgave him. Lol. Actually we always joked about it and it's fine. No hate plz. I gave him his back. Lol. Point is, I found Vigam right before quarantine and DR Uba was so wonderful, so nice, so on it, and so calming. She pretty much read my mind when I was trying to explain to her what I was wanting... I also didn't want my face to look too different, just more..you know, smooth and full in diff areas. And that is what she did. I ended up getting juvederm in my lips and a lil bit if Botox in the eye area and in that stinkin upper lip. I got the "Lip flip". FABULOUS. She was gentle to the touch, plus she had her assistant put a vibrating tool near my lips to cause my focus on it, rather than the needle. Love this. It was very comfortable and the Dr knew how to calm me. On that note...I was a anxious mess and she soothed me with talking out how it will end up, and got me a cool cloth and ice water. I was like a sick child scared of the needle. Lol. Poor her dealing with me. Smh. The location of the clinic is easy, right off Cornelius Pass rd and TV highway. Very clean and shiny inside. She also offers other cosmetic procedures such as peels, kool sculpting, "Vampire facials", and laser hair removal. I'm excited to try in the non-quarantine days ahead!! Refusing to answer straightforward questions about skincare treatments and pushing a consultation instead is poor customer service. I took my business elsewhere. It is a super red flag if a business cannot clearly explain what they are offering. You are not wrong for wanting to know info on what you're paying for and what will be going onto your face or body? I'm 32 and have since been asked about my great complexion. Additionally, I've subsequently found out the "laser" there is not a laser. I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.
