I hired Raul to replace the leaking water heater at my parent's house. He found a bigger problem that was not known to us....the water pressure regulator was broken and the incoming water pressure was 160 PSI!!! My water heater started leaking quite badly. I knew I was in need of a new one. Going through Home Depot's app I was sent someone from Rescue Rooter. After listening to the plumber go on and on about all the pipes needing to be updated, needing this and that to get up to code, and finally hearing it was going to cost $2200 total. Saturday we discovered a leak. We called our home warranty company who provided a company that could not come until Monday. We need emergency services. The company never contacted us with a time. I looked the company on yelp and they had 1.5 stars. I read the reviews and said, "Oh hell no." I saw exact had 5 stars and all reviews I read were good. I called them. They came out & checked the meter which did not detect a leak. They thought it was a leak from the roof that was coming from the water heater exhaust. The referred us to PRC a restoration company who did discover it was a pin hole leak and the meter definitely was not registering it. We have Pex tube plumbing. I called them back out around 7:00pm and they came right out. They did an amazing job. Stopped the leak and the restoration company they referred to are doing a good job as well. I can't thank them enough. It was not their fault they could not originally find the leak as the meter was not even registering it. I highly recommend this company. Great customer service. read more

Reached out to Exact Rooter & Plumbing via Yelp's tool for an inspection on Friday 12/15. There was some back and forth using Yelp's message system which I thought was inefficient. Instead, called up Exact and got Raul. Within 2 hours, both Raul and his son made it to my parents' house. Granted I had another company come out the day prior and they did some work using a snake, but they couldn't get it fixed and suggested additional work I wasn't sure was necessary. When Raul came, he was upfront that most of the time it's just a clean-out using his tools and determination. Sure when enough, what could've been at $2k+ job for another Redlands company, Raul was able to make it happen. Raul was prompt and my mom said his son was very courteous. Kudos in my book to go along with cost. While I still like to get 2nd and maybe 3rd opinions, Exact will definitely be considered for future jobs. read more

Best Service Technician I've ever done business with! I discovered that my water heater was leaking from the bottom. I knew this was bad news, so I started looking for a plumber. I would have done it myself, as I like to do most of my own repairs, but I had a feeling that some of the pipes/lines weren't done to code previously. Home Depot wanted to charge me $1,500 for the install, and it was a General Electric brand water heater. No bueno! I called around, and most everyone had the same range of $1,100...until I spoke with Raul from Exact Rooter. He was under a grand and I got a really good, honest feeling from him. He explained why his costs were lower than others, and the way he likes to do things. Then we set up an appointment for the next morning. The morning of the appointment for service, Raul calls me about an hour before and re-confirms our appointment. He arrived to my house about 15 minutes early, ready to get to work. The install went extremely well. He's very knowledgeable in his craft and is willing to explain everything he is doing to you...which is good for me, because I like to learn how to do things. He's very polite, and extremely professional. Even my dog liked him! Even though I enjoy doing most repairs myself, I will DEFINITELY be keeping his number on hand. We had a termite contractor drill through an under slab water pipe in our master bedroom, and with this being Friday we thought that we would have to get a hotel room for a few days before a plumber would be available. In comes Raul Gonzales and his son Michael to save the day. I have the tune from Mighty Mouse playing over & over in my head. These two men came to our rescue in just the short time it took them to drive from their shop in Redlands to our house next to San Manuel Casino. They covered all of our furniture with visqueen, jack hammered out the concrete slab, dug out the pipe by hand, replaced the broken pipe, dirt AND concrete, all in about a two hour time frame. Very impressive. They also did a great job cleaning up everything and leaving our house as clean as possible. Being a first time homeowner in a new city, I've been through some difficulties trying to find solid people to do solid work, and for some reason, especially when it comes to plumbers. I've had other plumbers charge me RIDICULOUS amounts of money to bring a camera out to show me roots in my main line, and try to use fear tactics to get me to sign up for some huge jobs that while obviously beneficial to the plumbing system, are not necessary. Said plumbers will insist that these jobs are vital, or you know, your pipes will explode and your whole front yard will become a hybrid sewer sinkhole monstrosity, or you need to gut your whole house and replace everything or you and your family will die a horrible agonizing death from breathing mold! NOOOOOO! Raul has become my go to. I've had him out 3 or 4 times to do some routine snake work and replace a seal. He tells you whats what. No nonsense. You call him, he answers or promptly calls back. He shows up when he says he will and he fixes your problem and hits the road. Fast and great service!! Our drain had been clogged for a week. We used our own drain cleaner machine, rented a 100 ft drain cleaner from Home Depot and weren't able to clean it out. We had called one company before calling Exact Rooter and they were estimating to arrive between 4-6pm. Came across this company and decided to call them because all of the great reviews they had. The man who answered was very helpful even referred me to another plumber because I wasn't sure if we had a septic tank or connected to the city and he didn't want to just take my money. I was able to get clarification with our plumbing, called him back and told me his son would be arriving by 12. Sure enough he was here a few minutes before and took care of the problem.
