We hired this company to repair a water leak and replace our water heater. While the leak itself…read morewas eventually fixed and the job did ultimately pass every city inspection, the process took about a month longer than it should have and cost us real time, stress, and lost work -- issues we feel other homeowners should know about before hiring. Work began July 5th with tank removal and drywall demo by Collen S. and his partner. The next day, they repaired the leak by replacing about 6 feet of PEX line, and a subcontractor patched the drywall. About 20 minutes after the patch was done, Collen S. told us the new water heater install was good to go. We specifically asked whether a permit was needed -- for both the leak repair and the water heater install -- and Collen S. and his partner told us twice that day that it wasn't. We requested one anyway. That turned out to matter a great deal. On July 14th, Collen S. gave us only about 30 minutes' notice before the inspector arrived, even though we had asked him to give us a day in advance so we could request time off work to be present. The inspector arrived anyway, and when we asked directly, he confirmed that both the water heater installation and the PEX line replacement had been done without the required permits -- meaning both jobs were effectively illegal until they could be properly permitted and inspected. This flatly contradicted what Collen S. and his partner had told us twice on-site. The next day, we called the company's manager, Steve, and raised three concerns: the contradictory permit information, the last-minute inspection notice, and our request for a different crew going forward. On July 21st, a new tech, Michael, introduced himself, and the City of Eastvale inspected the drywall repair. The city did not approve it and required the wall reopened for a mold check. Michael returned that same day to reopen it. On July 27th, the city inspected inside the wall, confirmed no mold, and approved the space to be patched and the water heater reinstalled. Drywall repatching happened August 3rd, and the final inspection closed everything out August 6th -- roughly a month after the leak repair began. On top of the permit issues, we were also pressured more than once to buy add-on services unrelated to our leak. Collen S. showed us "dirty" pipes at least twice in what felt less like genuine advice and more like an attempt to play on our emotions to drive a commission-based sale of a whole-house filtration system. He also pushed a full home re-pipe on separate occasions -- again, unrelated to what we'd actually called about. To be fair, the leak repair itself was solid, the city inspectors were thorough, and the job ultimately passed every inspection with no mold found. But getting there cost us two additional days off work -- one for the re-inspection that was only necessary because permits weren't pulled correctly from the start, and one for the wall re-closing after the unapproved drywall job had to be reopened -- plus significant back-and-forth to sort out miscommunication that should never have happened. We're hopeful the company will work with us to make this right, since the repairs themselves held up -- it was everything around them that fell short. A crew not knowing (or misrepresenting) basic permit requirements, and using emotional pressure tactics to upsell unrelated services, are things we don't think any customer should have to tolerate -- and we'd encourage this company to address both with its technicians directly. Because of the permit miscommunication that left our repairs technically illegal for over a week, the last-minute inspection scheduling, the repeated upselling pressure, and the extra days off work it all cost us, we cannot recommend this company.

My recent projects started off that way (AGAIN) so I went searching for a handyman that I can trust and is 100% reliable. After interviewing a handful of handymen, I chose Handyman Vega and I couldn't be happier! He is very polite, always arrives within the timeframe expected, communicates often, and his pricing is more than fair. He is careful not to disturb any other items around him while working and he cleans up any mess at the end of each day (not many other handymen have done this). The finished work is beautiful and exactly the way I envisioned it. I am truly impressed. I didn't want to write this excellent review because my husband and I prefer to keep him all to ourselves. Very personable and asked about me and my family. Those traits are rare in today's environment. He went through my whole system thoroughly and provided short and long term recommendations. About 20 years and they have installed both of my units. They come on time, in a clean uniform and leave your place spotless. They are not the cheapest but are the best. You get what you pay for. The technician was very friendly and courteous but, and it's a big "but" he quoted me $900-$1200 for a kitchen faucet and another $1900 for labor. He also stated that his company couldn't guarantee the installation because our water pressure was over 100 psi. Plus he needed to replace our angle stops which would be another $350. I purchased a faucet at Costco for $125 received other bids for less than $300 labor, called our water provider, CVWD and they were aghast that the plumber said our water pressure was too high as it's at 550 psi which is normal for our area and equipment. After I declined to hire Pride Plumbing I've received over 14 text messages and emails from them although I replied with "stop" on their texts. I've now had to block over three different phone numbers yet today I received another text in which I responded again with the reasons why I didn't hire them. Im a senior living in a beautiful community but cost is a factor when I consider vendor services. It's my opinion that I felt taken advantage of and have written this review.

We were also having issues with a sink P-Trap and hot water not coming out from the same shower where the leak was. Ramon sent out a plumber, named Fernando, who opened a hole in our drywall and after a couple of mins of eyeballing the area, he determined that the leak was coming from an old seal on the shower overflow. He also said that the issue with the hot water was coming from a cartridge issue and that he would fix it. All together for the P-Trap, seal replacement, and cartridge replacement I was charged $600 after receiving a $100 discount for paying all cash. Fast forward to now, our shower knob broke due to a faulty cartridge. It was an old, broken cartridge that Fernando installed which caused the knob to break. The leak? Never fixed. We patched up the drywall and after a couple of weeks started noticing water stains in the same area again. I reached out to Ramon regarding the leak and he said he would get back to me with info on when they could come back out but then went unresponsive. Since he wasn't responsive after I reached out about the leak, my wife reached out to him from her # about the cartridge issue and he asked her to send pictures and that he would fix it if it was their fault. Pictures were sent and we followed up with him multiple times just for him to ignore our calls/texts and send us to voicemail. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I now find myself looking for another plumbing company on here to help with the leak that they never fixed, and ended up paying an additional $189 for a whole new kit to replace the cartridge and damaged water knob

This place is horrendous and absolutely terrible. My boyfriend and I had 5-Star Plumbing's…read moretechnicians come out in February of 2023 to repair a leak at the front of the house we live in. The technicians who arrived initially quoted my boyfriend $295 to which THEY said was the TOTAL amount that was going to be charged for the full repair. My boyfriend agreed to the $295 as it wasn't as costly as what we expected and the techs who came out seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy-- or so we thought. They supposedly "fixed" the leak only to charge us $1500 instead!!! Because my boyfriend signed the work contract for the $295 but the techs changed the final total on the contract to $1500, my boyfriend refused to pay because again-- the $295 was the initial agreement my boyfriend had initially confirmed with them. Because they already completed the service and expected payment, my boyfriend said he would pay only $200-$300 more to which he did. When he stopped paying them, one of the techs came back to the house a week or two later banging on the front door demanding the rest of the payment and threatening us from outside if my boyfriend didn't pay. We have footage of the tech banging on our doors and garage on our Ring camera, but I don't know how to upload the video. It also wouldn't make sense to post screenshots of the video now because of what I still have left to tell... Just wanting that nightmare to go away, I took over the rest of the payments paying in full months later. FAST FORWARD TO DECEMBER 2024, another leak opened at the SAME EXACT LOCATION the 5-Star Plumbing technicians "fixed." We called 5 Star-Plumbing again explaining what they "fixed" back in February of last year was becoming an issue again and asked for one of their techs to come out to rectify the problem. The 5-Star Plumbing technician they sent was Fernando who confirmed the leak was coming from the SAME PIPE THEY INSTALLED. He also noted to us that one of the techs who installed the pipe in 2023 WAS FIRED FOR NOT DOING HIS JOB PROPERLY so there was no way they'd be able to get additional information based off our story and theirs. The pipe Fernando referred to was a copper pipe that had a hole in it. Copper pipes are supposed to last 30-50 years. The copper pipe 5 Star Plumbing's techs installed only lasted 1 year and 10 months. If we paid ALL THAT MONEY... $1500, only to have them charge us ANOTHER $385 almost two years later when their techs installed the copper pipe incorrectly, how is that reasonable?? MAKE IT. MAKE. SENSE. While they claimed that the warrantee on the service expired-- if YOUR former employee who YOU FIRED FOR INCORRECTLY DOING HIS JOB was employed at the time HE incorrectly installed the pipe at your clients' place of residence, doesn't that nullify the expiration of the warrantee?? Again, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!! It was a whole back and forth with the 5 Star Plumbing office admin who we spoke to over the phone because 1.) Regardless of whether she said that their techs completed their job in 2023, the quality of their technicians' work resulted in a faulty pipe in 2024 that THEY installed which is a huge disservice to me and my boyfriend as paying customers. And the pipe should have lasted for YEARS, not 1 year and 10 months. 2.) When we asked to speak to the owner directly, the admin kept deflecting our requests and straight gaslit my boyfriend over the phone. He was livid. I was livid, and frustrated and straight pissed. We ended up calling Guardian Plumbers. When we called Guardian Plumbers later that afternoon, they were able to get a tech out here quickly, and he showed us the pipe those 5 Star Plumbing techs installed. I've attached a photo where you can see the hole on the pipe. You can also see a welt where the pipe should actually be smooth but from what the Guardian tech explained, those shi**y 5-Star Plumbing techs overheated the pipe which weakened the copper that held the pipe together. Thankfully, Guardian fixed the problem and we have been going to them for our plumbing needs since as they've had consistent results-- positive AND they always explain to us step-by-step how they fixed issues we've had. It was Guardian's tech who explained that the pinhole was caused by overheating as well with the leaky pipe situation. Take our advice: To preserve your mental health and sanity, STAY AWAY FROM 5-STAR PLUMBING. GO WITH GUARDIAN PLUMBING. Guardian Plumbing's techs are fair, reasonable, and provide excellent customer service. Can't say the same for 5-Star Plumbing. After all the trouble and inconvenience they caused us, they should be named No Stars Plumbing. To 5-Star Plumbing: You can improve your business by providing QUALITY work to your customers, not rip them off when a disservice was performed on your end (former employee you fired who worked on the job we ended up paying a ton for), and most especially DO NOT GASLIGHT YOUR CUSTOMERS for their truths!!!! Good riddance!!!

The project turned out better than we could have ever imagined and we are so happy we chose Razo's Concrete! We were so pleased with his work that we had his multi-talented crew prep and paint our 2 story house. It turned out beautiful and we recommend Razo concrete without reservation!

We had a lot of work that needed to be done after another contractor ran out on my grandpa and leaving things an entire mess and plumbing not done correctly. Contacted Raul, who has previously done a roofing job for us (not him, a company he subcontracted to) to ask him if he could send someone out to take a look at my kitchen sink because it wouldn't drain and we'd tried snaking it, draino and more. Come to find out the piping that the idiot contractor has installed and that was encased in cement under out bottom room had not been done correctly (go figure). Time to go to work. It's an older house, built in the 40s, so it had a lot of problems anyways. Joseph, the lead technician on the job, was very professional, explained everything to us along the way, and him and the team got the entire job done in a weekend; which was amazing for everything we needed done throughout the entire house. They did not nickle and dime us, worked all day (EVEN ON A SUNDAY) and we couldn't be more satisfied! IVE NEVER SEEN A KITCHEN SINK DRAIN SO FAST!LOL. We had an emergency situation where we had to call a drain cleaning plumber at midnight. We no time to make sure of the plumber who is gonna handle the issue therefore we just Googled for a local drain cleaning plumber in Fontana then we found Steel Plumbing and Drain Experts. We found that they do emergency plumbing so you called instantly. The guys just answered directly and showed up in the right time. I had no idea of what was going on. I thought it would be a long long process and pricy as well. When they showed up they wasted no time after taking my permission to handle it. It literally took 17 minutes only and they found that the drains were blocked by plastic stuff. In addition, they charged less that I have expected. I am very happy with their service and I don't usually rank 5 stars for any business but those guys did a great job that deserves my time to write this for them. The system at my house runs very very smooth. I recommend this plumber in Fontana for everybody. Steel Plumbing & Drain Experts is the best company that I have dealt with. The guys checks my leak issue in my kitchen then they estimated the cost and time to be fixed. I honestly thought it would cost more money and time. Luckily at the time when I despaired I found this company. I call the guy then they showed up instantly. After the estimate they started fixing every single leak and all was done one time. I have had the kitchen leak worked on for a month and I see no single issue in it. Steel Plumbing & Drain Experts is the best plumbing company in the Inland Empire. We had an issue with our kitchen or we have had that issue for months. There was leak everywhere so every plumber was expecting and even doing drain cleaning but the leak was still there. In the end we had to call Raul and his team as we were recommended, once they came they knew that the issue was not in the drains but that two drains were not tied well, then they tied it and everything works well. I am very thankful for you guys. Additionally, they didn't want to charge me that much but I told them to charge whatever it's worth because they saved my time and effort. we had a new construction added to our home and the guys at Steel Plumbing and Drain Experts were in charge of the plumbing system. They actually did a great job. They worked hard to get everything done on time. All pipes were professionally connected and extended. They are the best when it comes to plumbing in their area. I had to call an emergency plumber in San Bernardino for my aunt who lives by herself then I found Steel Plumbing & Drain Experts. I am really thankful to those guys although I did not see or meet with them since I live in Riverside. But like my aunt said, the guy were very responsive and on time although I did call them at 1 am. They did a great job and secured and cleaned everything behind them after the work is done. I had drain problems and contacted Steel Plumbing for help. They were running late and could not make their appointed time on Monday so I rescheduled for 7:00 A.M. this Tuesday morning. Raul and an apprentice arrived right on time and within the hour had all my drain problems solved. I was glad that I gave them a second chance. They were nice guy's, efficient and cost conscience. This is my second five star review for him, and how many times do you ever give anyone two five star reviews, right? That tells you everything you need to know about A-Advantage Plumbing. We have unfortunately been having some irksome plumbing issues in our house this year, and that's no fun! We had a clogged toilet in one bathroom at the same time that the toilet in the second bathroom needed a new fill valve, so we had to keep turning it on and off. After that, we had a massive kitchen sink clog from hell during massive summer heat. Most recently, the flapper chain and handle on one of our toilets broke right after the completion of a pee. The bad news on every occasion was that Bill wasn't currently available, and so my brother kept nagging at me to just hire any old plumber, but I insisted every time on waiting for Bill because who wants to risk being overcharged by a plumber you don't know or trust? We put up with the kitchen sink issue, the toilet that was constantly running, and even the broken toilet with the hideous stench of rancid urine until Bill became available, and I'm so glad that we waited because Bill only charged us $200 for the fill valve replacement and there was no charge at all for clearing the clogged toilet in the other bathroom. It would've easily cost us $300 total with any other run-of-the-mill plumber. The price to clear the clog from hell in the kitchen sink was only $500, and he only charged us $164 total to resolve the broken toilet handle/flapper chain issue. Moral of the story? Take advantage of A-Advantage and hire them whenever you can, even if you have to wait, because Bill is well worth waiting for! Bill's wife Karen is a gem too and she works wonders juggling Bill's very busy schedule.

We had two Cedar trees removed recently because of the plumbing damage they continued to cause on our property. The part of the sewer that is closest to our home was showing signs of needed repair. Several years ago Easy Rooter took care of the sewer line that was on the front side of our property. It's still working very well after 6 years. This time it wasn't a simple task to just dig up the dirt to access the sewer line. There was cement to remove, very large tree roots to remove, and old sprinkler pipes to remove. They replaced old plumbing that was connected to our laundry room and a bathroom. After scheduling for them to do the work a week in advance, they changed the schedule to accommodate us for the following day. The reason they did this was because our shower backed up that very night. Jonathan was at our home the next morning to discuss what they could do in full detail. I so appreciate that Jonathan took the time to spell out everything. When his employees arrived he introduced the guys who were going to do the work and then took them to where the work was to be done. I was pleasantly surprised that this whole job was done in one day! Jonathan has a kind and gentle demeanor. I can see why his employees bring that same attitude to work. Easy Rooter Plumbing and Drain Cleaning is the only company I will call because I can trust that they will do what they say they will do, they clean up everything and treat my home like it was their own. We were also having issues with a sink P-Trap and hot water not coming out from the same shower where the leak was. Ramon sent out a plumber, named Fernando, who opened a hole in our drywall and after a couple of mins of eyeballing the area, he determined that the leak was coming from an old seal on the shower overflow. He also said that the issue with the hot water was coming from a cartridge issue and that he would fix it. All together for the P-Trap, seal replacement, and cartridge replacement I was charged $600 after receiving a $100 discount for paying all cash. Fast forward to now, our shower knob broke due to a faulty cartridge. It was an old, broken cartridge that Fernando installed which caused the knob to break. The leak? Never fixed. We patched up the drywall and after a couple of weeks started noticing water stains in the same area again. I reached out to Ramon regarding the leak and he said he would get back to me with info on when they could come back out but then went unresponsive. Since he wasn't responsive after I reached out about the leak, my wife reached out to him from her # about the cartridge issue and he asked her to send pictures and that he would fix it if it was their fault. Pictures were sent and we followed up with him multiple times just for him to ignore our calls/texts and send us to voicemail. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I now find myself looking for another plumbing company on here to help with the leak that they never fixed, and ended up paying an additional $189 for a whole new kit to replace the cartridge and damaged water knob
