To rent you need a Credit card. Not a debt card. I have seen people get very upset when they find out. They also charge a $100 deposit. They need proof of insurance too. You are able to buy it there. However it van be pricey. It does give you peace of mind. They have after hours drop off. I have always used that option with zero issues.

The lady wasn't friendly but customer service wasn't something she excelled in. She charged me $258 in "incidentals", when I inquired why so high, she said "You'll get it back when you return the car." Budget and Avis are the only 2 rentals places at Burbank that open at 5:30a. I came at 5am to get in line to return car. 6 cars in line. I'm 2nd. They took first car and fourth car. Did I mention I was 2nd? What the heck? I asked if there was a reason he took the car 2 cars behind me and he just looked at me. It was 5:25a. I asked him if he could inspect my car. He said inspections start at 5:30am. So I asked him what he did with the cars at 5:10am (cars 1 and 4) and he said "Check them in." I said "So basically, they're turned in?" and he said "Yes." So not sure what's the difference between "Turned in" and "Inspected" so I just left my keys on the dash and left and while I was walking to the airport it got notification that my car was turned in. While waiting for said guy to come back and turn in/inspect my car, the 3rd car guy and I were chatting and told me next time ask for a hybrid so I don't waste much gas (I was given a Jeep Compass). I give up.

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental car company today…read more Even though I had a confirmed reservation, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was told that the car I reserved was no longer available. Instead of honoring my reservation or providing a comparable vehicle at the same price, they repeatedly pressured me to rent another car that cost nearly twice as much. My budget was around $200, but they insisted I pay almost double for a vehicle in the same class. This felt unfair and misleading. To make matters worse, the employee who assisted me was indifferent and showed little interest in resolving the issue or helping me as a customer. A confirmed reservation should mean something. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and will not be renting from them again

No problems there. 1st time was in Palm Springs, and now inside Burbank airport. Walked in earlier today around 10AM, and was greeted by Ruben. A very pleasant gentleman. He was very eager to help me. I told him that I was looking for a small to medium car to get ready for a road trip to Hearst Castle and that need a car, since it's a good 5 hour drive from Studio City to Hearst Castle. He was quick to show me 3 cars. One was a 2024 Toyota Prias, the 2nd one was a 2025 Honda Accord, and the 3rd one was a mini van. I told him they are all nice cars, but I just want to get some prices on it, before I make up my mind. He looked at the prices and the most affordable/reasonable one was the Toyota, then the Honda. Not to mention that they are more affordable than any other car rental shops that I had gone to. Place, inside the lot, and their waiting area was very clean. Also the cars that he picked out for me to see were clean. Inside and outside. I told him, let me talk to my son, and will definitely get back to you guys. However, upon pickup, I was provided with a Hyundai Venue, which is significantly smaller and does not appear to be comparable to an Audi Q3 in terms of size, comfort, or features.
