Magically we are being charged despite asking to join. A. A minor cannot sign a contract B. Deceptive sales practices C. Lesson learned to NEVER sign anything without reading and having an adult review. We learned after the visit a family member was a member there and got a skin disease from the unclean equipment which cemented the decision to not join and instead join the Sports Mall across the street.

It's a fantastic program for Law Enforcement, Military, Emergency Service specialists, who have to deal with "special" circumstances. I've finally had the opportunity to make it out here, to SLC. The facility is GREAT! Lisa, one of the owners, is sweet person. They have great training equipment and offer a lot of high value training. If you're looking for a place to workout and train hard, train combatives, OR train martial arts (they have a great BJJ program for kids!) this is definitely the place for you! Now I'm not saying. "Trust me." However, please consider this as it is coming from a martial art and fitness school owner, as well.

My husband went to this gym with a Groupon in Spring 2025, a contract was proposed and my husband declined entering a contract. My husband does not do contracts with gyms. My husband proposed a month-to-month contract to Heather and Mike. Heather asked Mike if that was okay, and Mike said that it was. Heather then provided my husband with a document and explained it was to accept gym rules and waive liability, which he signed. My husband needed to cancel his membership in December 2025 and requested that through the billing department email which is just Heather. Since the payments didn't stop, he attempted to resume going to this gym two or three months later, but this was during the period when this gym had no physical operation. He showed up two or three times at the new address and didn't find any gym there. This was a very distressing and confusing situation for him. I tried contacting the billing department, but there is no billing department, it is just an email address and they don't take calls. My husband had been trying to get ahold of the "billing department" as well with no luck. I explained the whole story about what happened in an email to the "billing department." Heather said that she would cancel the contract but that this would just go to collections. In another email, Mike told my husband to "tell your wife to f*** off." Today, we received that bill from collections. My husband never understood he was signing an annual contract and was explicitly told by Mike that he could do a month-to-month arrangement, and Heather lied to him about what he was signing. After all this happened, I looked back in time at Yelp reviews and found that this business has been doing shady and dishonest behavior like this for at least a decade.

I've been a member here for 5-6 years and today confirmed I'm done. I had a scheduled daycare…read moreappointment for my son at 9:30am so I could get my workout in. We showed up right on time, went through our normal routine, and the staff member at the door physically stopped us from coming in, saying they were "at capacity" despite the appointment. When I said I had a scheduled spot, she basically told me that wasn't her problem. No solution offered, no apology. Right after I left, I got an email confirming the appointment had been canceled, so either their system failed and she didn't know, or it was canceled after the fact to cover it. This isn't the first time. In recent months I've been stopped multiple times while already mid-workout - once already on a machine - by staff who came up to me telling me I had to scan my barcode even thought I already had, like they were suspicious whether I was even a member, like I needed to prove I belonged there. Six years as a member and I'm treated like someone sneaking in off the street. If you're going to require appointments for daycare, then honor them. Turning away a kid whose mom booked ahead and showed up on time is a failure on every level. To make it worse, canceling my membership has been its own ordeal, phone lines claiming I'm calling outside business hours during posted hours, an online cancellation form that locks you out with a broken login, and when I went in person to cancel, they still wouldn't refund the annual fee I was charged just three days before all of this happened. Six years. Won't be back. If you're considering this location for daycare-dependent workouts, don't count on it.
