Just had our windows and skylights cleaned by Excellent and they did a fabulous job! They were at our house 30 minutes ahead of schedules and were very nice guys. Some of our skylights are tough to reach, so they pressure washed them with a mineral mix - we've never had such good results. What a difference clean windows make!! read more

Scheduled an appointment with Excellent Window Cleaning who I have been using for a few years and very happy with their service. Elliot and Manuel on time and thorough. Yesterday's experience was not acceptable. As seniors during Covid, reconfirmed Manuel will be wearing masks and gloves and was reassured he would be. Instead of Manuel arriving yesterday, two new people showed up without Excellent asking me in advance if that was OK. I called Excellent to find out what happened to Manuel and they just argued with me instead of what they should have done was "apologize for not communicating" with me. They said Manuel always comes with another person which is untrue since he was working alone the last time he was here. I sent the two guys away since I was very concerned about having two people cleaning windows during this very challenging time with the virus and us being seniors. Would have recommended them previously but after yesterday's experience, definitely would not. If they would have apologized and admitted they should have advised me as to what happened, I might have reconsidered allowing the two men to stay. Excellent Window Cleaning truly needs customer service training! Under no circumstances should you be arguing with your customer. By the way, I've never posted a review on Yelp before but this unacceptable behavior sadly needs to be out there for others to read. read more

We haven't had our windows professionally cleaned in years. Excellent Window did a great job!! They went the extra mile scraping off some paint over spray on some of the windows. Julia and his partner did a great job of cleaning my windows inside and out- three stories upstairs. They carefully removed window panels and screens and made sure they were secure when they put them back. Julio pointed out a screen with broken clips and that it wasn't very secure suggested I might want to replace it in the future. We own a 3 story home in Daly City. So you can imagine how difficult it would be to attempt to clean the windows not to mention scary standing on a tall ladder. So we got a referral from a friend who has used them in the past and have used them for around 8 years now. We know when to call them too because you can barely see out of our windows. Two guys came yesterday to clean all my windows inside and out. We live in a three level house with lots of windows up very high. Aside from being about 1/2 hr late, I was completely happy with their work. Very professional, very polite and thorough. The price was more than fair - in fact my husband thought we had paid them too little for risking their lives on high ladders so that we could look through sparkly clean windows. I live in San Francisco and called "Excellent Window Cleaning" out of the Yellow pages. The first thing i noticed was how courteous and present the gentleman that I was talking with was. He made the appointment and clearly explained all the ins and outs. As most people, I had a lot of possessions lying around and I was security conscious. I had a party planned and wanted the windows cleaned. The cleaning was scheduled the day before the party. After their hour arrival window passed I called and was told the technician was sick and they would come the next day (day of party) between 9:30 and 10:30 and be done an hour before the party started. Not happy w/ this but wanting the windows cleaned I agreed. They called back a couple hours later asking to move the arrival window to 10:30-11:30. I said no, the party started at 1:00 and they were pushing it. We agreed on an arrival window of 10-11, that would have them finishing around 12:30 and they assured me everything would work out. Day of party - their hour arrival window passed and I called. I was told they were running late! Unbelievable!!! I told them to forget it. We have used Excellent Window Cleaning twice. The first time we used them, I was pleased with their work. This second time I was really disappointed. I had asked that the screens get cleaned and they were not done. Apparently, you pay extra for the screens to be washed. I guess their idea of cleaning the screens is just to brush the dust off. The guys who came out to do the job said it would cost extra to have the screens washed. I have the windows washed approximately once a year by a professional cleaning crew and when I include screens in with my order, I am hoping they'd get washed along with the windows. This mistake won't happen again. I will be using another service in the future and will be sure to ask about washing the screens. read more

Very nice people who showed up when they said they would and overall did a good job. I would like to have given Excellent a more excellent review, but two things bothered me: 1. The estimate I was given when they got to my house was $100 more than the estimate I was quoted over the phone, based on what I thought was the same information. Since the final estimate was no higher than I got from other window cleaning companies, I told them to go ahead. But still... 2. Part of the deal was that they would wash three skylights. They declared themselves done, having not actually washed the inside of two of the skylights and their screens. Granted, it wasn't straightforward to get to them, but I assumed they would know how to tackle such problems. In the end, I had to suggest how it might be done. To their credit, they went back to work and were able to clean them. Since I asked them when they arrived whether they were really able to do these, and they said yes, I would have liked not to have to prod them. Even so, they were very good at the other windows, quite efficient, and very obliging. read more

I had the best window cleaning experience with these guys : I set up an appointment and they were on time, they actually were a bit early.They quickly gave me the actual price which was right on target with the quote i had gotten over the phone and they did a great difficult job !! We leave on the third floor and they even got on the roof to do our skylights for what seems to be such a low price !! I can actually see through my windows now ! I highly recommend them. Our windows looks great even during rainy season. 2 years ago, they pressure washed concrete in front of the house, and I wonder why we waited for so long.
