    I am really bummed that I had to break my contract due to financial reasons. I asked if I could use…read moremy deposit to just rent one throne chair, our finances no longer allowed us to pay the full contract but I wanted to still rent the chair. I was told that was not allowed and that they did not rent items separately, although they are listed on their website as individual rentals. I signed my contract the first week of April and my event is in mid July. I had to cancel my agreement mid June. I didn't receive any updates on my event within that time (April to June), we were already at the one month mark and they had not contacted me. If I had not contacted them to cancel my agreement, I don't know if I would have heard from them. I am fully aware that deposits are not refundable, however I was hoping that one small exception would be made just for a throne chair. I even offered to pick it up and to let go of the rest of my deposit with no luck. Unfortunately times can be tough and when a huge financial change happens, we are placed in difficult situations. I just hoped to get a little more flexibility from them seeing as that I only spoke to them once, during my consultation when I gave my deposit. I am disappointed, although Vanessa was very kind, I just wish her and her team had been a bit more flexible in this situation.

    I used this company for years, and I am very annoyed of the last service I received. I didn't even…read moreend up receiving the service because they just ghosted me. I was emailing multiple times because plans changed, and so I had to change my order. But I wasn't getting a response for over a week, so I finally called them. I was being really apologetic because I felt bad about changing the order so many times. But the reason they weren't being responsive was because now I wasn't going to meet the minimum order. I didn't know they had a minimum, first of all, and they could have told me when I was emailing them so many times! Also as a long time customer, they could've done this out of a courtesy just one time. Also if they had told me about the minimum right away, I would have paid the minimum amount, even though it was going to be more than $100 over what I was ordering. And I had to call them, which was annoying, and my party was less than a week away. These days, that would be almost impossible to find replacements. I'm just really disappointed in companies that just disregard you when they think you're a small customer. As a business owner, I first of all understand how hard it is to run a business. Second of all, I would never disregard small customers, no matter how small the order. It's just disheartening when I've ONLY used them for any rentals I had just out of loyalty.
