They're too entitled. Warren stopped cutting my hair and the rest don't book you unless you have a history. I got canceled on minutes before my appointment last time I hit them up. I've been going for a year btw. Les has seen me in there and didn't want to book with me. I got depressed after none of them could help me and shaved my hair off due to it being too long/had a job interview the next day. I pulled the bald look but still. Unless they are biased on who they wanna cut, I wouldn't recommend them anymore. I always vouched for them and sent them customers since I worked in a high customer volume job nearby. Most of us remember the Cheers jingle, if you're old enough "where everybody knows your name" well last time I was here was 3 years ago. Today I decided to cut my hair I've been growing since. Nervous and ready for it I took the plunge. Luckily I was in good hands Warren not only did he take care of business with an awesome cut, he remembered me from 3 years ago. If thats not impressive then ur just a debbi downer. My guy hasn't seen or heard of me since that 1st and only visit 3 years ago and unless he stopped cutting hair there should be no way in hell he remembered me.. nevertheless he did and as with our 1st encounter he was on point and in tune for another great haircut. So I now have a new barber in Reno. Warren, from his own shop -Exclusive Premium Barber Shop is awesome! Great location! Plenty of parking. Modern, cool, clean barber shop. Great setup with comfortable seating, a few bigass flat-screens to watch whatever you want. Great music going. And super cool, down to earth dudes that are easy to talk too. I love the idea of reservations required, because you don't have to sit around for an hour or two waiting for your turn. Online reservations were simple to make. Prices are just right for a premium cut. Exceeded my expectations. Even though I had a hard time telling him exactly I wanted (my fault, not his) he still nailed it. Great attention to detail! He won't let you leave until you are totally satisfied. I can't recommend him and his shop enough! If you are looking for an awesome new place to get cut, this is it! I was really impressed by Warren's barbering skills. He took his time and lined me up with an excellent skin fade. Classical barbering techniques, good with a razor, and the chairs are very comfortable. My only issue is that I haven't been able to reach him. I called and could not get through. He doesn't have a voice mail box set up. Then I requested an appointment through Yelp. Finally, I just sent him $5 on Venmo and left a message asking for a call back, hoping he'd notice. Warren, if you're no longer in business, could you please let me know? I've been staying up in Truckee during this pandemic, but I'm from Oakland. It's been hard to find a barber that's on par with Oakland barbers, but Warren is it. I left a fat tip when I got my first haircut, but nothing I've done has gotten his attention. Great barber if he's still operating/ you can get an appointment. I'll keep trying him before lowering my review.
