More recently, I took my car in to get checked due to jerkiness when accelerating. They took it in for a couple of days and when I came to pick it up, they told me that they had done the work we discussed but that my original problem hadn't been solved. Eddy told me he wasn't going to charge me since it hadn't been resolved, even though they did a lot of work on it. To me, this kind of honesty is hard to find in a mechanic these days and taking a loss on his work is extremely generous. He also gave me some follow-up advice to tell the next mechanic since I live in another city. If you're having a hard time finding a mechanic that won't rip you off, try these guys out.

Additionally it took over 48 hours and three phone calls for them to even run diagnostics on the vehicle and never once mentioned a charge for diagnostics until after they handed my friend back the keys to the vehicle. Thought a local old hole in the wall shop would have been more fair reasonable and kind however I was very wrong. I wouldn't trust them with a Tonka Truck much less a real automobile.
