Despite voicing these concerns, I was assured by your staff not to worry and was advised to schedule a service appointment for these issues to be addressed. Given that the car is relatively new, I promptly took the vehicle to your service department for an oil change and a thorough inspection to establish a service record. According to the service recommendations, the rear brakes and rotors needed replacement, along with a full wheel alignment. These repairs corresponded precisely with the issues I identified during the initial test drive. However, when I subsequently brought the vehicle to Wallingford Auto Park for service, I encountered unprofessional behavior from the service manager. He refused to authorize brake or rotor replacement, suggesting that both the dealership and I were attempting to obtain a free brake job. Furthermore, he indicated that the dealership would only cover the wheel alignment costs. This response was both surprising and unacceptable, and it has caused me to question the integrity of the service process. Regrettably, I must also report experiencing discriminatory treatment, notably from the salesperson Phil, which has added to the distressing nature of this transaction. Given these circumstances, I felt compelled to cover the $740 cost of necessary brake repairs personally, as I prioritize the safety of myself and my family above all else. This entire experience has been one of the worst I have had in purchasing a vehicle. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering transactions with your dealership.

Adam Leaving my old review completely intact for honesty and truthfulness. Honest Review: A Disappointing Experience with Quality As a four-time repeat customer who had previously purchased three brand-new vehicles straight off the lot with zero issues, I expected a baseline level of integrity and customer care. Unfortunately, my recent experience purchasing a used 2010 Subaru Outback has completely reshaped my view of this dealership.I fully own my mistakes in this transaction: I bought the car "as-is" in January, from Faith who stopped responding to me as well as Mike Ward I skipped an independent third-party pre-purchase inspection in my rush to secure a vehicle, and overpaid for a car whose Kelley Blue Book private party value maxes out around $5,000 in mint condition. However, what happened afterward highlights deep concerns about the condition of vehicles being passed off to buyers. The Reality CheckAfter moving to Vermont and bringing the car in for its state inspection, the true condition of the vehicle came to light. Despite driving it less than 10,000 miles post-purchase, an official shop estimate revealed that it needed over $4,000 just to pass a basic safety inspection. When factoring in all the underlying mechanical failures--including a seized front brake caliper, failed wheel bearings, torn tie rod boots, a rusted-out exhaust system, a leaking head gasket, oil pan, and oil level sensor, a failing power steering pump, and a mushy clutch grinding into third gear--the total repair estimates topped $12,000 on a car I paid $10,000 cash for. The car is completely unregistrable and undrivable in its current state. Dealership Response When I reached out to management, team members were polite in conversation, but ultimately Mike Ward took, several days to respond after i called the directly then I texted him. you can read below he could not open the link. I then proceeded to download the video and send it to him. when i did not get a response and drove down in person from Vermont to get a response I was told their mechanics found nothing wrong with the car When I drove all the way back from Vermont and paid for a hotel room just to try and find a constructive solution--such as a fair trade-in buyback allowance, a repair partnership, or applying the value toward a reliable vehicle on their lot--I was met with silence and no trade-in estimate. Buyer BewareIf you are considering buying a used vehicle here, learn from my expensive lesson:Do not trust that a car on their lot is in road-ready condition, even if it is priced at a premium.Always take the vehicle to an independent, third-party mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection before handing over any money.Expect zero accountability or support from management once the "as-is" paperwork is signed, regardless of your customer loyalty history. It is deeply unfortunate that a long-standing customer relationship was handled this way. I am sharing this strictly to help other prospective buyers protect themselves and ask the right questions before buying. Below are pictures of estimates from a different Subaru dealership and a 3rd party that both say Quality was wrong and that my car failed a basic Vehicle Safety Inspection and is not legal to drive. Stay far away from this dealership. There are many others nearby. I worked with Steve Lang who lied…read moreto us the entire time. He told us the optional add ons were not optional on any car and they all come equipped with them, even if we were to order a car through them not on the lot. We negotiated the price based on having these add ons. He was also incredibly pushy. He only had one Corolla on the lot but it was a dark color that we did not want. He got us the color we wanted and said it would be the exact same as the Mariner document he printed of the one they had in stock. Only difference would be the color. When we went to pick it up (a week after they said it would be there and at 6 PM), we had our toddler with us so didn't have much time to look at the car. Once we got home we realized it did not have any of the optional upgrades. We tried handling it with Steve who just yelled and spoke over me the entire time. I told him have the manager call us then I called. He never got back to us until almost a week later after we got toyotacare involved 3 times. Dan the manager was the exact same as Steve. Kept twisting our words and was unwilling to work on a resolution, calling Steve the "most honest guy he knows". You can see from all of the one star google reviews that mention Steve that is not true. Dan also called us liars because we didn't notice until we got home that day. Not sure how that makes us liars when he knows those things aren't included in our car. He also tried to tell us the one we bought is more expensive because more people want them. No more people want them because they're cheaper. It's the exact same car but with no upgrades. How would that be more expensive? You would think they would want to make it right since we have another Toyota that's on the way out. I have also dissuaded my neighbor who is going to be buying a Toyota suv soon and my aunt not to buy from here. I suggest going to any other Toyota dealership nearby unless you like being lied to, bad faith negotiations and being disrespected by grown men.

In the past, I've experienced high pressure sales and tricks from other dealerships. I know the uncomfortable feeling of being a young woman in a car dealership. My experience with Executive Honda was really disappointing…read more I called to inquire about a specific vehicle listed on their website. The sales associate (Amber) was nice & forthrite, confirming the vehicle was available & answering all of my questions. The interaction left me feeling positive about this dealership, so I requested an appointment to see that specific car. They confirmed my appointment via text multiple times. The morning of the appointment (that's today!) I decided to text that same number to confirm that the vehicle was still there, as the drive to this dealership is almost 2 hours from my home. They responded & told me that the vehicle was sold, but I should take a look at their other options & let them know which I was interested in so they could have them ready for my appointment. I never showed any interest in their other vehicles. I was very clear that there was one single car I wanted to see, & so that's the car I made an appointment to see. They sold the car & were never going to tell me. They were going to let me drive 2 hours one way to find out the car was gone. That's a really dodgy business practice. Not only will I not be buying a vehicle from a dealership willing to waste my time like this, I'll definitely be advising other people to stay away as well. Amber was a good sales associate & I wish she worked elsewhere.
