Given that the sandwich was the only thing I had eaten that day and I don't have any known food allergies, I felt my concerns were not fully addressed. This was my first visit to the deli, and it exceeded all my expectations. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The holidays were approaching, and the decorations were fun and welcoming for both adults and children. The variety of sandwich choices made us want to try several; we settled on the moist turkey cut fresh at the carving station, served on a delicious rye bread. with swiss cheese. The home made cole slaw was great, moist but not soggy, just the right amount of seasoning. The prices were very reasonable, and the owner, Kevin, served us personally; he was knowledgeable and very helpful. I bought some sandwiches to take home, and my husband said they were the best deli sandwiches he has had in years. If we lived closer we would be there often. I highly recommend this deli! read more

A hidden gem, just found this place a few weeks ago and loved it, there breakfast sandwiches are amazing and they have so many options to choose from for lunch, I come here at least 3 times a week and get something different all the time. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Chef Kevin and his amazing restaurant. I was the producer on a film and we had to feed a lot of people with all varying tastes, 3 meals a day in a short period of time. Kevin delivered every time, on time with high quality, delicious food. We even had a lot of last minute changes and he always followed through and made miracles happen ! I stop by the deli all the time for a quick bite and their sandwiches blow me away. One of the guys who works there, Will, is so friendly and cooks like a wiz. The owner Kevin is the kindest most charismatic person I've ever met. Best part is they have a concession stand at the beach in Byram, absolutely delicious. These guys at City Line thought of everything: heavy-duty board (of some kind) is used to balance the heavy ašš sandwiches in place while you're in transit. Bread slices weren't the biased cut or straight either you usually get from other delis. Theirs are cut into Triangles from tip to tip. Then they're wrapped super tight and sealed. The box itself is secured in all angles and taped on the ends and middle. Damage you wanna know? About $100. We've done Stop & Shop's version of their 2' sandwiches- but they're boring.
