Kyle and his team did an amazing job moving my husband and I into our new 4 bedroom home! I was very impressed with Executive Moving Services when I used their services for an in-town move in Whiting, IN, in April 2021 to move from one house to another. I would highly recommend Executive Moving Services to others needing a moving company in Northwest Indiana! Here's the summary of my experience: In early April, I contacted a well-known moving company in NW IN about a small in-town move. The company was fully booked for more than one month and I needed a mover in two weeks. I found Executive Moving Services here on Yelp, but they were not yet rated when I found their ad. I called the number in the ad and spoke with Kyle by telephone. He told me he was available on the date I needed and he was very transparent about pricing, fees, and the small deposit I'd need to make to secure the date I needed. Moments after our call ended, he emailed a billing statement with information about the small deposit I'd need to make to secure the date. I was given multiple payment options for the deposit, including Apple Pay. After I paid the deposit, Kyle followed up with a text message to let me know the company received my deposit and to let me know he'd be in touch as we got closer to the move date. Two days before the move, I checked in with Kyle via text message to make sure we were still confirmed for the move. He replied right away to confirm that his crew would be there at the appointed date and time. On the morning of the move, Kyle called 30-45 minutes before our scheduled appointment with an ETA letting me know the crew expected to arrive 10 minutes early. The crew arrived as stated. Kyle also arrived to review the terms we'd agreed upon over the phone two weeks earlier. The crew moved quickly to load everything into the moving van. FYI: the items I needed moved were already packed and staged. I only hired this company for the **loading and unloading** part of the move, not to actually pack for me. Although Kyle and I had originally estimated when we first spoke that the total time to load and unload would take about 3 hours, it actually ended up taking 4 hours, which was very reasonable to me considering we were moving most (not all) of the contents from one house into another. I knew the pricing up front, so needing the extra hour was no surprise. The first reviewer mentioned the time it took for the crew to wrap items and I think it would help if the customer and the company discussed *in advance* what should be wrapped and what shouldn't be wrapped so there are no surprises. It would help both sides: the customer saves a bit of money since less time is spent wrapping and the crew doesn't have to waste resources wrapping items the customer doesn't need wrapped. The loading and unloading on the day of the move went quickly. The crew was very efficient. After everything was unloaded at the new house, Kyle and I discussed the move and the final cost. He is very professional and personable. Shortly after we spoke, I received the final invoice via email and was again given several payment options, including Apple Pay. I paid and received a receipt right away. Overall, I am VERY impressed with this relatively new company. I think I've reached the point in my Yelp history where l will only leave a review if a place blows me away or totally disappoints me. This place blew me away and I knew I needed to share my experience. Executive Moving Services is a professional, reliable, and affordable company. Thankfully, they were also available on kind of a short notice, which alone made this service seem like a bargain. Thank you Kyle and your crew for making this move so easy! I hired this company for a very simple move. When I first talked to them I wanted a reasonable rate for the move. They told me that it would be well under $400. They came on time they shrink wrapped everything and made sure that everything was okay. My problem is is that the price went from $400 to well over 575. For a new company they have started on the wrong foot. Needless to say I will never ever use this company again. read more

I didn't want to write this review but the experience I had with this company was horrible I was supposed to have a 2 man crew 1 guy showed up late and started working alone so my sister and I began to help him maybe 45 minutes later 2 more guys showed up I was thinking oh ok so it's 3 guys this should be quick it was not the 2 guys that came sat in the truck and did absolutely nothing for hours while only one guy worked it took them 5 hours to load the truck for a 2 bedroom apartment they had absolutely no supplies so I had to go out and buy tape and wrap and at the last minute the other guys decided to come help the one guy Isiah who was apologizing the whole time and doing the best he could. They charge by the hour and I believe they purposely took a long time but as they unloaded the truck they decided to help him. I spoke with the company told them how dissatisfied I was with the service they told me they sorry it took so long and that only one guy showed up first and sorry about them not having supplies that they can take off one hour I told her fine I wasn't happy and it didn't make sense she asked me to leave a review I told her no because it wouldn't be a nice one. Later I noticed one of my bags missing called the driver he said nothing was left I made sure I didn't over look it and called the company because I'm furious I asked could I just speak to the owner because I was already un happy with service now this customer service person telling I'll have him call you but I'm not sure what we can do . I don't believe the guys stole the bag had to just be misplaced or thrown away I told her the same she's telling me I don't believe they will steal a bag of your things and I'm like can the owner just call me . I just wanted him to understand maybe apologize because it's his business but he chose not to care to return my calls . I would never recommend this business to anyone read more
