I didn't feel good about her making the drive, so began exploring other options. Car service would have been over $200, but I discovered a shuttle than runs between a number of hotels and the airport. Made my way to Carson Valley Inn and was picked up promptly at 4:40p - paid $24 - and walked through the airport doors at 6:15p. Definitely not as fast as driving, but in the future it'll be much more convenient for my mom to pick me up at CVI than making the trek to Reno. Throughout the trip, I was impressed at the driver hit every single stop at the exact minute he was scheduled to be there. I got the sense from talking with the valet at Carson Valley Inn that the shuttle has a reputation for being extremely prompt. There was only one other person on the bus with me; it was her first time taking it too. Here's a list of the stops the shuttle makes: Gardnerville Community Center Carson Valley Inn Holiday Inn Express Minden Courtyard Marriott Carson City Carson City Transportation Center Reno Airport Reno National Bowling Center Hopefully more people hop on board! Everything went fantastic. However, for the game tickets it is best if you download the Monsters' App too. And realize for the price - your tickets are in the end zones. The first trip was so smooth, clean new bus, excellent and polite driver. The second time, coming from the airport, is where the staff really shined. I volunteered to go on a later bus because of luggage space issues, but had some team members joining later anyway so I didn't mind. The staff were gracious enough to let me pick up their tickets as well, which saved us time and gave peace of mind. When my colleague was delayed on the tarmac, Demetri was kind enough to call the driver to ask him to hold five minutes. Rose Hwy, one way..... a three hour minimum for a 30 minute trip per Google Maps. After the wedding, an SUV to take the bride and groom from the Mt. Rose location to S. Reno, again, 20-30 minute trip with a two hour minimum for the SUV. Okay, I can deal with this as I understand minimum, so I add one stop in Incline village for both the sprinter and SUV. Total trip time per Google Maps, 58 minutes. I just received a new quote that now for my TOTAL 58 minute trip, they have to increase the sprinter minimum time to 5 HOURS and the SUV for 3 HOURS!!!!! For a 58 minute job!!! If that is not a complete rip off, tell me what is.
