I decided to try this business because of its strong reviews. As a woman, I'm always a bit cautious when going to a mechanic since it can sometimes feel like there's a risk of being overcharged, or mislead. So I always do my homework. I went in for a basic oil change and car inspection. The staff was cordial, courteous, and prompt, which I really appreciated. Customer service was definitely a strong point. However, I did have some concerns about the thoroughness of the inspection. I was able to point out a few things myself that were initially missed, and it seemed like the technician performing the inspection may have been new, as they needed guidance from more experienced team members. Because of this, I don't feel completely confident that the inspection was as comprehensive as it should have been. Unfortunately, I don't currently have the time or resources to seek a second opinion, so I'll have to move forward and hope everything is in good shape. Fingers crossed. read more

Hubby took our VW in today to see what was going on as it was having trouble accelerating and the check engine and EPC lights both came on. I was super nervous since googling what the issues could be and they all sounded so costly. They diagnosed the issue and it wasn't bad at all! My son took a used car into Autoworks for a pre-purchase inspection. The service techs were super helpful and intrigued about the dealership who had rebuilt the title. Rather than charging my son for the inspection, the service tech first used a scan tool connected to the vehicle's onboard computer to retrieve "diagnostic trouble codes" (DTCs) that would indicate if systems are malfunctioning. Turns out the used car dealership was dishonest and had reset the codes on the vehicle to turn the warning lights off. The vehicle had not been driven long enough for the codes to turn back on. Autoworks not only saved my son the cost of the $75 pre-purchase inspection, but they also saved him the expense of buying a lemon. Honest Mechanics!!! Drove in from Las Vegas. Only hear for 3 more days. Engine light came on. They immediately put their diagnostic device on my car. They figured it is OK to drive back to Vegas. They wouldn't take any money for this help. Being out of town, it would have been easy to tell me anything they would like. Had an issue with my truck and i was so nervous with the price I got from the car repair place off Arapahoe. They were gong to charge me thousands of dollars including parts that I didn't even need. Great people! I took in my '97 Infiniti I30t when a valve cover fell off. Justin kept trying different clips to keep it safely attached until he found the right one. Made sure all four tires were properly inflated and reattached a tire decal properly. (It had fallen off.) Had the guys here replace the instrument cluster lights and a headlight replacement on my old 04 Dakota. Half had been out for a couple years but I managed to get by until the other half went out. I brought my car in to get the brakes replaced, and less than a couple months later they sounded worst than when I first had brought my car in. It sounded like metal grinding. I took my car back and they replaced the brakes but they were back to the same thing just a month later. Not sure what kind of brakes they are using or if they even replaced them. I took my truck to them and after just an hour, they called and said that my alternator was fine, but that another issue ($60) could have caused my battery drain. Their waiting room was full, and it's clear why. They are the most honest, hard-working and knowledgeable people I've met in their industry. Just go to a dealership. Paid $840 for a repair that should have been around $500 at the most. Even the dealership would haven't have cost that much. I was told it took four hours to make the repair and asked my brother (he's a mechanic, but out of state) if the part was buried in the engine and takes a long time to get to...no. I asked if the parts to replace were expensive...no. Then when my fiancee asked about what the average price should cost, the guy said that it's because we live in an inflated state. Well, duh--I've been here for over 16 years and have had my fair share of car repairs, I know all about inflation, but this one takes the cake. read more

A few weeks back, I was in desperate need of an oil change, but I wasn't near my normal, go-to shop. My mother-in-law recommended this place, which was right around the corner. Oil changes were a first-come, first-served model, so I was unable to make an appointment, but I got there early on a Saturday and didn't have to wait too long. In addition to an oil change, I opted to have my air filter changed and get my wiper blades replaced (one was busted). The prices seemed very fair to me, and the service was good -- quick, professional, and well done. I had a very noisy cabin fan in a 2004 Honda Pilot. The thing is so old it isn't worth expensive service, but Justin and the guys made it simple. They found and cleaned out the critter nest (no kidding!) in short order. They cleaned the existing cabin filter (didn't try to upsell me for a new filter) and only charged me the minimum diagnosis time. Very friendly, and clearly take pride in their work. I cannot say enough about Nick and this shop! I took our 2011 Kia Soul that was attempted stolen with damage to the ignition and door lock to Emich Kia (I figured they had seen these tictok kia problems and would know how to fix it) and they quoted me $3200. I had Nick and his team look at it and they were so HONEST!!! Nick kept me in the loop all day long with what they were doing with the car. Turns out I didn't need a new starter like the dealer said, we didn't need a new door mechanism like the dealer said... the dealer basically lied to me and was going to "fix" items that were not broken. Nick got us in immediately (the week before my daughter's wedding too- totally lowered my stress level) and repaired what needed repairing, did an oil change, put in a new battery all for $1200!!!
