The first thing you notice is that getting there feels like navigating a maze since it's tucked away in a secluded location. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed by a warm, relaxing atmosphere that instantly feels like home. You're always greeted with a friendly smile and a genuine "Hello, welcome!" The food is consistently outstanding, and the drinks are always on point. I have to give a special shoutout to our favorite server, Elaine. She is always approachable, kind, and makes us feel like family. Every visit feels personal--she remembers us, asks how we've been, and even knows our usual orders before we ask. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. One of my favorite parts of dining here is sitting outside by the water. Watching the planes fly low overhead creates a unique atmosphere that almost makes you feel like you're traveling. I absolutely love Bayhouse and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a relaxing waterfront dining experience. It's a hidden gem that's well worth the visit!

The bay view creates a relaxing atmosphere. Bathroom was ckean. We ordered cod fish and chips; the cod was decent but unremarkable, and the battered fries weren't to my taste. The shrimp was overly battered with very little shrimp inside, so I sent it back. I'd return for the ambiance and drinks, but not the fish. May be the wings are better there..

The macaroni and cheese is better than my mamas (don't tell her, please), the fried shrimps are a perfectly seasoned golden delight and the collard greens are straight from South Carolina. The service is SUPERB. If you're craving soul food and your in Queens, this definitely the place to go. THEY EVEN SELL KOOL AID

The cashier was very polite and accommodating. I didn't catch her name but I appreciated her effort and time to make suggestions on what to order. I believe this place can a facelift. They need to do a better job of cleaning the front of restaurant. It's a hole in the wall place so if you don't know it's there, you'll probably pass it. And being that the front of it isn't kept clean, you probably would think you aren't missing much. I initially came here off of a recommendation from a friend. He had some wings that he said were pretty good. Which I must say, yes they were good. The Mac and cheese is a bit salty and the mashed is a bit bland. The fish was good. This place has a lot of potential to be great. I'd go back and give it another shot to see if anything changed. We will see what happens.
