Dip Manicure
Kristel R.

Today was my second visit to Exotic Nails Spa. I've been a walk-in both times, but haven't had a long wait. I got a dip manicure. The nail tech (I had the same one both times) does a very thorough job, and is helpful in picking out colors. (The first time I went, I wanted something neutral and was having a really hard time picking something out.) If you are looking for a super relaxing, spa type environment, this is not the spot. But they do a great job, and the HGTV that's playing is entertaining.

Brought my mother here the day before mother's. Leon did my mom and my mani's. We got a dip. These pics are day of and today after 2 weeks. Gonna go back tomorrow and have them done again. Only going back already because of the gap from my nails growing and how long they are (I type all day and am slipping all over the place now). Was extremely happy with how he did. My mom was disappointed that we didn't get a hand massage like it says we should have received with a mani. We also got pedicures with gel polish. We were very happy with that experience. My daughter (7y/o) and I go here a few times a year for mani/pedi's with gel polish. Always been very happy with our experiences.

Great service. Had a Dip powder manicure and I Never felt rushed and they always do an amazing job.

After my 5th time going here instead of my previous nail spot, I can confidently say that this place is my new favorite. The ambiance is so calm. The music playing is relaxing, the whole place is marble countertops and luxe comfy chairs. They offer refreshments and there's always HGTV or the food network playing silently on their TV's. They are kid-friendly and have kiddie sized pedicure chairs with princesses on them. They offer a variety of services, but the one I'm here to rave about is their dip nails. I have natural long nails and they do a great job taking care of them for me. They also haven't broken any nails in taking off old polish and putting on new polish, which is a relief to me! I've also gotten gel here, but the dip powder is what they excel at. I also love their pedicure menu and you can truly customize what kind of service you get, which I appreciate. Dustin in particular is fantastic and spends so much time making sure your nails look perfect. If you're going to have anyone do your nails, ask for him!

Its okay but i wouldn't return again. The technician was nice i think. He was very soft spoken. I asked for medium coffin nails i wanted solid color and an accent color on my ring finger. He said okay and he gave me short tapered squares. They are uneven and slanted as well. When he went to drill they used unclean drill bits that had been sitting in nail and polish dust in a dish and he cut my pinky while filing. When he went to paint them he started to give me a french tip with my colors and when i explained he fixed it. He grabbed two green colors and wanted to layer a dark green sparkle then put a lighter color on top. Both greens were not the color i picked. When his coworker got up and handed him a sparkly green i said can we just keep the dark green. All in all im content with my manicure but my mom paid for it and was not happy with her nails. It was $53 for a gel full set per person. She asked for black french tips and the lady cut her cuticles with the drill, didnt give my mom her correct length and she painted the tips so thin you can see her natural nail underneath. She also didnt get the correct colors she wanted. The feeling or "vibe" was unsanitary with all the old nail shavings around me. I wouldnt go back considering my experience.

I get my nails done here every 2 weeks and absolutely love the ambiance of the inside. I think a few things that bother me are the way they make you feel rushed and I am always fearful my nails will not be okay. Fortunately, the two older gentleman who have done my nails have done an excellent job at making me feel very comfortable and Inlove with them! LEON is the man though!!

I took my soon to be 7 year old here last night and we both got a gel mani/ pedi. The staff were wonderful, kind, and great technicians. They gave us each a soda and offered suckers to my daughter... which made her so so happy! They changed the tv to cartoons without even being asked... they just did it because they wanted her to have a great experience. I can't say enough great things about the people here! I highly recommend!!

first of all, the girl spilt neon pink nail polish on my uggs and pants that i recently got. although she did wipe it off. secondly, she was aggressively grabbing my hands. and to top it off, there is glue all around my fingers leaving. alsoooo when we called they said it was $48 then charged $70 update: my uggs stained

Nails

I just had my nails done here and I wish they looked like the ones they advertise on their Instagram. Mine look horrible. The acrylic is cracked towards my cuticle and the polish is lumpy. She wouldn't fix them and embarrassed me in front of every one there. (The men seem to do a good job, but the woman is rude and does a bad job). Unfortunately, we won't be going back here. I was so embarrassed at the scene she made in front of the other clients waiting. I will have to pay to have them fixed somewhere else. You've been warned.

This was my first time at Exotic Nails Spa after passing by and stopping by a week later to get my nails looking good for an event. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the business. The floors, baseboards, and the pedicure basins were very clean. I chose the pedicure special and the service lasted an hour! It was very relaxing and worth the money. I also got my nails dipped in powder with a tip added. The nail tech worked extremely fast yet I got exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be a regular at Exotic Nails Spa now. The only con was another guest was there with two rambunctious children, if there isn't already there should be some kind of policy about children running around.

Blobs instead of nails. They've never looked this bad.

I came here because my normal salon (Anthony Vince Nail Spa, go there!!) was booked. The nail tech spent as little time on me as possible and when I pointed out mistakes to her, she blamed me for hitting my nail on the way into the UV light- which I've done before and it doesn't have the same effect as oil on water, like my nails look now. She went back and fixed the one I pointed at, but left the others as is. At this point, my friends are both done and waiting on me. I just told her it was fine because I was sick of waiting. My nails look like shit, I'm so upset I paid $40 for something I am just going to have to fix when I get home.

She sees all manner of hoo-ha daily. So...I said the hell with it, flung my pants off, and she went to work. Conversation flowed easily, there was laughter, and before I knew it the hair was gone. I've been many many different places including ones in malls, Walmart, and even beauty schools with students. This was the worse experience I've had. I walked in without an appointment (the sign and website says they welcome walk ins ) It took several minutes for the woman to come out of the back room. She didn't greet me or say anything at all, so I told her I was there for a brow wax. She asked if I had an appointment , when I said no, she was very rude and told me to make an appointment in advance next time. She said she could "squeeze me in this one time". There was absolutely no one there waiting and no one came in during my visit, so I'm not sure why she was rude and dramatic about me being a walk in. Normally I would expect they would be thankful for the extra business, especially during COVID times. As the cherry on top, she had headphones in BOTH ears and was speaking in other language and laughing on the phone the entire time she did my brows. I asked for my brows to be cleaned up and get the strays, as it hadn't been more than a month since I last had them, the shape was still clearly there. She made my eyebrows extremely narrow and with almost no shape/arch- just a thin line. I would NEVER go here again. Customer service was one of the worst experiences I've had getting waxed/threaded and it was a terrible job.

So I've lost roughly 20 lashes on my left eye. They're literally falling off one by one" "The right eye is intact " "Idk if they're going to make it to tomorrow let alone through the weekend. Vanessa replied and asked if I could come in on Friday for a redo. Friday @12 lash tech Alexis fixed my left eye. Saturday I noticed my right eye shedding unmercifully. Sunday 11/15 @11:50am I reached BACK out to the studio requesting to cancel my membership and to file a complaint. The studio granted my request without retention efforts probably because this is my second time requesting to cancel my membership due to this very issue happening 3-4 other times. Which cost them 3-4 other redos. Deka Lash owners lack customer service, integrity, tact, warmth, and empathy all while carrying a mediocre product (lash glue). Why did I stay? Location and convenience! Also, I really liked their previous lash tech, Brenda. However, she quit for various reasons. I tried several other lash techs but they all quit as well. Then Vanessa became my lash tech and she and I hit it off. Because I too am in the service industry and have been administering lash extensions for my clients for a few years I understand things happen. But more notably the response and action behind WHEN things happen matters most to customers. Making wrongs right is what should happen. Deka Lash suggested I sabotaged my lashes in an attempt to justify why their lashes didn't last. When historically my lashes last 2.5-3 weeks. In fact, the membership I purchased was called "The Starter" which was for clients who only wanted once-a-month fill-ins. They discontinued that membership as it wasn't profitable for them any longer. Now this tactic might be okay for rookies and the everyday person, but I do this for real; unlike the owners of this location. And even if I didn't right is right and wrong is wrong. BeWARE!!

[we] ensure each and every guest leaves our spa oasis feeling relaxed, recentered and renewed" NOT SO!! OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH SAVIA (a spa located at 8594 E. 116th Street, Fishers, IN) believed to be associated with Woodhouse Spa Earlier this month, my wife (Charlotte) purchased a full body (couples') massage from Savia Spa as a first year's wedding anniversary present for me. The Spa scheduled our joint massage for 2PM. June 10th, 2026. Our therapists' names were Katie and Kennedy. Kennedy was to do my massage and Katie was to do Charlotte's massage. Within minutes after our massages began, Katie began coughing. Katie's coughing continued for the next 23 minutes. I know this because I found it to be quite disturbing and therefore noted when her coughing began and when it ended. Her cough was very deep and I could hear what seemed to be the sound of phlegm in her cough. When our massages were through and I was leaving, I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak to a manager. I was told that there was no manager present. I then asked her to have the manager call me. When the manager called me back, I told her what had transpired during our massage and she told me that she had not noticed any signs of a cold or coughing from Katie. She told me she would check into this matter and call me back. When the manager called me back the next day, she informed me that she'd spoken with Katie and Katie told her that she had been sick but was no longer sick and had been given a note from her doctor saying she was able to go back to work. She said she was sorry this had happened. I told her that I should not have had to pay for this massage and was highly dissatisfied with her casual attitude that this had happened, but acknowledged nothing about how Katie's persistent coughing had interfered with the tranquility we should have received from of our massage but didn't. She then finished our conversation by saying she would "speak with someone higher up" and call me back by the end of the day. I never received any call back from anyone regarding this matter. From my point of view (and I speak for my wife, myself as well as [I believe] many others who give themselves the benefits expected from a good massage), a massage should not only work to relieve the body's muscles aches, pains and other medical issues, but also equally important, relieve the stressors of the day and help make one's mind calm and at peace. This certainly was not the outcome of our massage. Imagine yourself Charlotte settled in, awaiting your masseuse. The masseuse comes in, introduces herself; then asks a series of questions relating to your upcoming massage. After her questions have been answered, she then applies lotion all over your (Charlotte's) unclothed body, then begins the massage, rubbing lotion into your skin. No later than five (5) minutes from the time that she begins, she (Katie) starts coughing every 10 - 15 seconds. You begin to wonder about the level of sanitation of this masseuse' hands given this persistent coughing. The coughing shatters the peace and quiet of the room, making any peaceful rest as the time progresses difficult, if not impossible. More to the point (and even more alarming) a fear creeps into your mind that the lotion she is rubbing into the pores of your body may subject you to "catching" whatever she has. You are not only unsettled by the persistent coughing, but you then begin hearing phlegm in her cough. I, Charlotte's husband, being in the same room, was not only greatly unsettled by the persistent coughing, but also the possibility that Charlotte and/or I could catch whatever malady Katie was suffering from. Well, coming full circle, contrary to the last statement made by whomever called me twice (after we'd left the salon), no one has called us to discuss this matter further. The representations of what the person who called me after we'd left the salon were: 1. Katie had NOT been sick at the time Charlotte & I underwent our massages; 2. Katie had been to see the doctor recently with respect to her coughing issue and had not only told her she didn't have any health issue(s), but ON TOP OF THAT, the doctor had given Katie a note to take into work, stating that she (Katie) was NOT sick; was able to attend to her duties relating to lotioning & then massaging patrons, and 3. In support of the foregoing representations made by him to Katie, the doctor purportedly provided Katie with a written note memorializing his (the foregoing) representations. I, for one, would like to see that note. In closing, I'm not inclined to believe the veracity of what has been told to me by the manager (assuming she is a manager) of the salon located at 8594 E. 116th Street, Fishers. I'm pretty upset not only by the incident itself, but even more

She explained how the spa experience works and what services they offer, which made me feel very welcomed and at ease. The waiting room was dimly lit and filled with cozy seating. There was calming music playing throughout the space, along with citrus water, cinnamon tea, and snack mixes to enjoy while waiting between services. It was already relaxing before anything even started! I booked the Woodhouse Signature Deep Tissue Transformation with Randy and the Woodhouse Signature Holistic Body Detox with Mary, and both were absolutely phenomenal. He checked in on the pressure throughout and made sure I was comfortable and actually getting relief. You could tell he was focused and really present the whole time. Mary was equally wonderful. She was incredibly gentle and made sure I felt safe and secure at every step. She explained each part of the detox before doing it and was so respectful with every bit of consent. The detox treatment had five dreamy steps: dry brushing, exfoliation, a body mask, a luxurious soak in a clawfoot tub with complimentary arnica bath salts, and a body milk to finish.
