One of the best gifts I bought! This was a Father's Day gift for my better half and it did not disappoint! What a great experience, even though there was a little rain, it still was awesome! The experience was Amazing for my husband, as he was the one that drove. We were told when we booked it online that is was 2 hour experience. We arrived at 12:30 for a 1pm drive. Started the class at 1 and didn't get to drive until 3:45. While everyone else in our class surpassed us and drove, and others from the next group started driving before my husband. We asked twice if he was forgotten or what was going on. Twice told that the car he wanted was held up due to a special experience for someone else. Not sure why they didn't inform us of this before. Or I don't know, take it off the list for that time frame????Nothing like being on vacation and spend half your waiting on something you spend a couple hundred dollars on. Fun times! Oh then when checking out, they asked if we wanted to buy the photo. They ended up throwing that in after I told the front desk gal how fun it was to spend the day there on vacation, waiting for my husband to finally get his chance to drive an exotic car on a raceway. Thanks for the free picture and 2 bottles of water for the half hour drive back to our resort. I would encourage, if you are a wife that doesn't want to do the drive, even though you would really like to.support your husband and see him enjoy this experience, you may want to go shopping or stay by the pool. Really mixed feelings about this experience given the cost. The cars and the track are amazing and given the liability and maintenance considerations, I wouldn't quibble about the cost from that standpoint. Staff is a mixed bag. Some are friendly and helpful, and others make you feel like you are an irritant to be tolerated during their work day. The classroom procedure and SUV demonstration drive (not sure I got much out of the latter) was reasonably organized, but after that, the process was more chaotic. Finally, the drive. I chose to manually shift. My mistake. I am experienced with manual transmissions (and there is no clutch pedal on these cars making the process easier) but like most folks, I am not familiar with the gearing in these cars or the optimal shift points, and there is no way to achieve that familiarity in 5 laps, while you are also learning the track, drive lines, braking, etc. To make it worse, the shotgun professional was barking an endless stream of instructions which was impossible to process while focusing on the driving. Next time, I would definitely leave the car in automatic and focus on the track. The post-drive experience also felt poorly directed as it was unclear what checkout processes were. Perhaps things are less hectic on a day other than Saturday. I'd consider going back; love that track. read more

Had an amazing time at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas! The driving instructors were all great and seemed to really enjoy their work. I had booked two cars, the Porsche Cayman and the Mercedes AMG GTS. About a week before my appointment, Exotics contacted me to tell me that the Mercedes would be down for maintenance, but they replaced it with the Audi R8 V10 and gave me an extra lap. Wish I got the time in the Merc, but was very pleased with the Audi. The staff, behind the counter seemed a little annoyed at everyone though. Not sure if it was because they were all pretty young, or why, but that would be the only real negative I experienced. Overall, it was a great time. You'll need to save up, but it's worth the experience. read more

I bought my husband 5 laps in the Ferrari Italia and 5 in the Lambo Merci for Christmas and we headeded out for New Years...oh and I bought the same for myself- no way was I missing out! We got an email from the company when we landed in Vegas the night before saying that the Lambo was out of service and we'd need to drive the Lambo Superleggera. We were disappointed and called the office. They gave us extra laps to make up for our disappointment- we appreciated that!. We went ahead and bought a few extra laps as well after reading reviews encouraging us to do so. The place was PACKED- but it was organized chaos...my husband and I are huge exotic car fans- both owning Porsches and BMWs and we have a need for speed. This place did not disappoint! We were drooling over the cars and had a BLAST! They pushed us when we drove the cars. My husband loved the Ferrari and I fell in love with the Lambo. The pure power of the car blew me away. I didn't hit the breaks on that thing once. The instuctor was incredible. He didn't treat me as a woman which I really appreciated. The first instructor did (I hate to admit it!), but the Lambo instructor pushed me past my comfort zone and when we pulled back into the garage he looked at me and said, "Wow, you really surprised me with your driving. I never would have guessed that you'd drive faster than most men out there". He didn't expect that from a 5'1" little lady...and neither did I totally- but he pushed me and I totally appreciated it! Had a trip planned to race on my wedding weekend, before heading home. The pick up location of the shuttle was at the Aria.. no one knew where we had to go, we walked around until finding out the shuttle had left without us. When we were ready to get a cab there, we were told it was too late, and the track would have been closed for a prvt event and we wouldn't have enough time to race. A company with a NO REFUND policy, suddenly gave us one... they should have never booked us so close to a prvt event that day.. If you ever wanted to drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or other exotic car, you have to go to Exotic Racing! On a recent visit to Las Vegas, I drove the Ferrari 458 Italia...FAST! The instructors are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable - real drivers with real experience. The cars are incredible, fast, and fun to drive. The combination of the two on a real road course makes for a great driving experience! I was on the fence about the video - just wasn't sure I wanted to spend money on it. GET THE VIDEO!! I've watched it about 15 times in the past 2 days - in the hotel, on the plane home, at home. GET THE VIDEO!! It's a great way to re-live the experience over and over. Well what can I say, this has been the best driving experience I have ever had, starting with the "shuttle" it was a LIMO !!!! All the staff are great, the discovery lap and instructions where great and really helped set you up for your driving experience, the in car instructor is very help full and helps you get the most out of the car. I loved the in car video and recommend it !!!! it is a great way to look back at what you did and relive it all the time. The cars are all very well maintained (I am an Automotive Mechanic myself) and run top notch. I found and feel this is a very safe activity even driving Super Cars and no mater what your driving abilities are you will have fun. I can't wait to go back and drive the new cars that are coming. I´ve booked 5 laps with the Lamborghini Aventador for 499$. Due to mechanical issue with the Aventador exoticRacing gave me a Lamborghini Huracan, which is 100$ cheaper. Actually I wanted my money back, but the customer service told me that is not possible. In my eyes that is a sneaky business move. I am not familiar with the US law, but in Europe business moves like that are not permitted. I still don´t know why exoticracing let me booked an unavailable Aventador and debit my credit card at the same moment. The ride itself with the Huracan was okay. I expected more. The instructor talked too much. Dude, let me enjoy my ride. I have paid more than 500$ for not even 10 minutes and I dont need an instruction during my ride. Summarized it wasn´t worth that much money. My roomate drove also the Huracan and 2 days later he took a ride with DreamRacing. He told me those guys are cheaper and the racetrack is longer and more exciting than ExotingRacing. Additionally, they have a drive simulator, which is more fun than a verbal instruction and good looking race chicks. Looks like DreamRacing is a better competitor... read more

I drove the Lamborghini Galliano and the Corvette. Outstanding experience under controlled conditions. The track tests your skills and the instructions are very good at explaining what to do and how to plan your turns. This experience changed from two years ago and I like the change. This time you drive 3 laps then the instructor debriefs you on what you did well and what you need to work on. Then you go out for 5 more laps. The Lamborghini had good control and handling, the Corvette was amazing with the horsepower and especially the torque. When the you stepped on the gas, you knew and heard it and the braking is very aggressive. You should do this at least once. read more

Total waste of almost 5 hours and over $400. Completely disorganized. Waited in line for 30 minutes before checkin, "safety briefing" started 45 minutes late. Took another 30 to get the Cayanne track tour. Then the car I was driving had a 6 person lineup, one of who was taking it for 20 laps. I arrived at 1:30 and didn't get behind the wheel until 5:30. I'm not a racer, and have no track experience. I made this extremely clear to the instructor but he had obviously been run ragged from the busy day and gave me basically no feedback to improve my driving. Very disappointed. Not at all like the videos I've seen on YouTube. It was also completely dark by the time I finally got on the track. This is a problem because their track isn't greatly lit, the cones were not lit at all and completely invisible, so I had no indication of the braking or turnin points. I had called before booking and was GAUTANTEED that I would drive before sunset. This was an absolute lie. Overall an awful experience, I wish I had spent $400 on literally anything other than wasting so many hours standing around. Hopefully others have a better time. read more

the negative reviews are deserved. the only thing Amazing about this place are the cars and that you can sit in them and take nice pictures, thats it !! the experience is garbage. the way it is advertised you feel like you will be allowed to drive the car as if it were stolen, absolutely not the case. you will be better off renting a corvette from hertz for 250.00 for the entire day this way you can really drive and no one is stopping you. i believe the joy of driving these cars is getting to shift at the redline, i hit 8k rpm on the 458 italia and the driving instructor flipped out on me, the 2nd time i was about to do it again, and he leaned over and up-shifted the gear because he saw me doing it again.... they never let you go above 5k rpm , this schmuck said " you get plenty of power at 5k rpm, going higher isnt necessary " i have a 2011 m3 with a DCT transmission so i know how to drive the damn thing... i get more pleasure driving my car the way i want than i did with this jerk upshifting and grabbing the steering wheel. the only reason i didnt mind having an instructor in the car is if im going fast for him to warn me to slow down into a turn, this guy is just yapping away the entire 5 laps. i was there to enjoy the car, its not like im getting timed, the instructor ruined my experience. i should have taken the nissan gtr for $200.00 first to see what its all about.. my cousin was with me and drove the F430 and said his instructor was grabbing his wheel as well.. when they asked me after it was over if i liked it, to be courteous i said i did but i would never do this again.. the straight away is VERY short, in the 458 italia i was only able to hit 120mph before i had to slow down for a turn, i have gone faster on the Long island expressway .. i loved their selection of cars and if i would have enjoyed the experience i would have driven more cars but after i saw the way this instructor was, i realized there is no point, either way you will not truly enjoy the drive.. ( ps DO not get the 80.00 video, as another reviewer here said it doesnt show the outside of the car or how fast you hit ) ultimately if you are going with friends as i did, rather than spend 800.00 for 20 minutes , get 2 more friends and spend 1500 and rent it for an entire day, you can each get a few hours without an instructor driving you crazy ) read more

What an awesome experience. I did 5 laps each with a cayman and then gt3. I wanted to see the difference in what Porsche offered and was disappointed after driving the cayman for the first 2 laps. I was extremely nervous at first as I have done autox but never been on a track with others passing. After 3-4 laps I had confidence and was good to go. Next was the gt3 and that was awesome but my instructor, josh, was the man! I felt extremely comfy with him and it helped because the gt3 was insane! read more

I ended up with a total of 37 laps. Overall the instructors were great, ask for Kai though if you can. One instructor it was apparent he did not have much recent track driving experience. Even beginning terms like trail braking and decreasing radius confused him. After two laps it was apparent he would not let me get close to driving the car how it should be driven. So I politely asked for a new instructor. He gave me grief and told me no, that I had to listen. Very unprofessional for an experience a paid $2,000 for. I pulled off the track anyways. It took awhile, but I did finally get a new instructor. They actually wanted to charge new for those two laps, even though they did nothing but frustrate me... rise I could not have the recording I paid for of those two laps. For this I deducted two stars, otherwise could have been a 5 star day. My lap times were 54 seconds, which I'm told is a good time. read more

All the other reviews are pretty spot on. It's a great bucket list thing to do one time but that's it. The actually driving is fun but goes by fast. My issues were with other things. First off if you get picked up by shuttle there's a lot of waiting around. I spent 20 minutes of prep time and actual drive time and 2 hours of just waiting. I got on the shuttle at 2:00 and finished up at 4:15. I was told that the shuttle didn't take people back until close to 5:30 so I ended up sharing an uber with someone. Unfortunately that was the middle of rush hour and it cost about $60 each to go back. The other issue was they called me the morning of my drive and told me they didn't have my car. I wasn't given an option of getting any money back they would only let me take another car wth an extra 2 laps. Not a big deal about these things but just thought everyone should know going in. Booked 9 laps in a Ferrari 458. The experience from start to finish was excellent. My instructor, Ashley, was excellent! She was personable and patient while at the same time just the right amount of forceful with commands to help me push my limits. The emphasis was not on "letting" me drive the car for fun but showing me how to go faster each lap and i truly appreciate that considering the cost involved. I would not hesitate to book again as the value of this one on one experience was immeasurable. You can rent one of these and drive around town at 25mph from stop light to stop light and try to impress people on the strip, or you can drive one on a track at full throttle and truly experience the car as it was meant to be driven. read more

Visited yesterday. to capsulize: overhead there were F-15s, F-16s and C-5's from Nellis. on the oval track were 6 NASCARs and next door were Top Fuel and Funny Car dragsters, plus the Lambos and Ferraris on the road course. I owned a 500 hp Lambo and a 500 hp SL55 AMG so let me give my perspective. Michael C below has summed it up. the complaints are unwarranted. Complaint 1: They don't really let you drive the car to the max. Complaint 2: The instructors get too involved and grab the wheel too much. My response: HEY!!! it's a 400-700hp car, if you don't have plenty of experience you can kill yourself and other people in a blink. If the instructor didn't let you max out or he's grabbing the wheel, you need more practice. Go to a real driving school, like Skip Barber, it will cost $1500-$4000, then come back. Yes. you will max out that Lambo when you come back. You go as fast as your ability, they fig'd out how to control that. If you can't max out on the long straight away, then you are entering the 1st turn too fast and they are dialing you back. Demonstrate your skill level to the inst on the entry and the 1st lap. I went fast but well within my limits for a 1st lap and he never grabbed the wheel or dialed me back. Complaint: lost track time waiting to pass slower cars. My reply: this was kinda fun, I had the 300hp Porsche and i was catching the 500hp Lambos and Ferraris, he let me get right up on their tails and follow them for a few turns til the inst in the lead car flashed the hazzard lites to signal us to pass, which, on a tight course, was exciting. thinking back, i had more fun trying to catch the Lambos and pass them than anything else. Complaint 3: It is a rip off. Reply: huh? what's the overhead on a huge garage, huge staff, office and 1.7 miles race course, + gen'l liabilty, workers comp, $350k cars, not to mention a clutch on a Murcielago runs $10,000 and gets replaced every 5-10k miles factor in all the business risk and start up costs, also, what could you re-sell these cars for later? it's actually a bargain. Complaint: no choice of cars or flexibility no way. you pay for the car you want to drive. my Porsche was $199, that's all you need, if you can out drive it, you don't belong here. The big HP cars will really get it on on the straightaway if you want that rush for $100-150 more. great customer service, i called several times, got good info. i met the owner while i was there. BEST BET: it's 20 mins from the Strip, drive out there and hang out if you're skeptical, lots to see. I expected 3 or 4 drivers, there must have been 50 or 60 pass thru while i was there. very well orchestrated. beginner to advanced street drivers fun for all, check it out read more

Intro: Booked this for a bachelor party function... Figured this might be a good change from the strip. As soon as we stepped out of the car you could hear the cars screaming andthe adrenaline began to pump. I thought registration might be "a process" we had several people, but to my surprise it was quick, efficient and well executed. Then came the briefing: These guys provided great information on the company, the track, driving. Basically everything you need to know. It also allowed the massive influx of adrenaline to stabilize. One major thing that stuck in my mind in from the briefing (and still does) is that they ask you to tell them if you were not happy with your experience. They want the opportunity to make it right before you leave. This was not a quick one liner, these dudes were genuine and serious. Then came the track: Not all of us were driving so while those that were driving got their helmets and discovery lap going the rest of us had the chance to get set up to watch and photograph. There is a great area to photograph from.. Cars literally screaming by.. I mean the hounds of hell were unleashed. I was hooked, even just observing. I photographed and filmed as the fellas ripped around this track in these machines. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to be able photograph such an event. How often does one get to capture a Lambo/Ferrari/GTR/Porche etc. etc. etc. ripping by at the speed of sound. at a mere 20 feet away? The best part was watching everyone exit the vehicles. They entered the vehicles as grown men beaten up by the day to day monotony and demands of life; they exited as kids on a massive sugar high. Ear to ear smiles.. talking a mile a minute, comparing experiences..(I recommend before and after pictures, you will capture the transformation). Then came the surprise: We booked the event for 2pm.We were scheduled to be done at about 4:30 and due to the popularity of a specific car they let us know that it might be 20 minutes before the last guy got to get his last car in. No problem, we were cool. They presented the option of him being able (if he preferred) to pick a different one and drive it so we did not have to wait. But we were cool, what is 20 minutes in Vegas right? So we told them not to worry we would happily wait. Then the strangest thing happened.. Something I have not witnessed before. They knew I had not driven and told me that for the inconvenience of having to wait that they wanted me to go on the ride along. "On the house". Initially, I responded "No, No it is fine, we are good, everyone is completely happy and we have no problems waiting a little bit" Then get this... They insisted. I think I was in a bit of a shock and awe state, remembering what they said in the briefing "If you are not happy tell us before you leave and give us the opportunity to make it right" .. BUT we were happy, everything was right.. All was good.. BUT they insisted anyway and within 5 minutes I had my helmet and was headed toward this beast of a Ferrari. Then came my experience: Holy sweet mother of God. I do not recall the name of the driver doing the ride along laps, if I did, the probability of my first born son being named after him would be highly likely. This cat was cool as a cheetah. extremely nice and outgoing, asking if I had any questions first. I said "no", but asked him; "please be gentle on my soft, precious soul and drive safe and cautiously for I am a p****." He laughed out loud and the foundations of a new friendship were established. This cat was from my neck of the woods as well. Immediately I knew my comment had secured a "balls to wall, hold on, grab your women and children and get out of the way experience" and to not spoil anything with too many details all I will say is: "ride of my life". When I got out of the car I understood the transformation I had witnessed in every driver that hit that track that day and I too was a kid again. Damn that was exceptionally cool of them to toss my way. Conclusion: Holy hell was this spectacular! I will NEVER come to Vegas again without this being a mandatory stop. It was the best money spent the entire weekend. These guys set the bar of excellence extremely high and take customer satisfaction to an unprecedented level. I highly recommend these guys for anyone that is craving something different in Las Vegas. Gambling... ehh, strip clubs... ehh, shows... ehh, recreational target shooting..ehh, golf.....ehh, Exotic Racing... Heeelll Yeah Son! Owners, operators, instructors, drivers & employees (in no particular order and to include those who answer questions via telephone); in a world where so much is fouled up and things are on the slide, you guys freaking do it right and my many, many thanks for the bitch'n ride! My wife gave me a gift of being able to drive a super car as she knows I've been a car guy from way before we met. I drove a Lamborghini for 7 laps and it was a thrill. Ashley did a wonderful job of keeping this 64 year old focused as I guarantee you I was not her most astute pupil. It was very hard to drive fast but she stayed with me. What a RUSH! Truly an amazing experience. My girlfriend went to full lengths to surprise me for my 23 with a trip here. Amazing experience from start to finish. Love how you are able to sit and take pictures with the cars whether you are a driver or just a guest. Just did a 5 lap drive in the Nissan GTR. I got an extra lap added because I had to keep slowing down and moving over for the drifting ride-along car on the course. I was greeted as we walked in got myself all checked in. Sat through a quick 10-15 minute driving class to learn the rules and proper steps needed to enjoy the driving experience. After a 20 minute wait, got to take a couple laps around the course and be taught the driving lines and track details before I got behind the drivers seat. After the quick ride along, I was then put right into the Nissan GTR. The instructor with me was great. Very friendly and informative. As we were on the course, the first lap he gave me very minor instruction on things I needed to adjust. By the second lap I knew exactly what needed to be done and the instructor sat there and allowed me to enjoy the experience. He even made it fun by giving me some motivation to get the car pushing to its limits. Overall great experience. Could not have asked for a better time while I was driving or just watching the other cars on the track. read more

I am a Vegas local and I have recommended exotics to people since they first opened. A lot of peoples reviews on here let you know how much fun it is for them. I want to give them props in the fact that the instructors actually teach you how to drive correctly and which habits you need to be careful about and what habits you should practice. The owner is an extremely great guy and I probably had the best instructor ever which is Paul hurst. if your thinking about doing this just do it. If your a chic that wants to get something special for your man get this for him and I promise he'll never cheat on you again. If your an employer who wants to do something great for your workers, get them a couple laps and I guarantee that if you get busted for tax evasion they will not testify against you. read more

Driving an exotic car around a race track was on my bucket list. I planned a four day trip around Vegas, this being the main reason for going. Wow...just wow. Where to begin? I signed up for the Lambo LP700 Aventador. $500 for 5 laps. When I got there, they told me I could do another car for $50 off. I was always curious about the Nissan GTR, since all car magazines seem to rave about it. I signed up for the GTR black edition for $200 (originally $250) for 5 laps. Things can get pricey here real quick! I started off anticipating only spending $500 for the aventador. Than I added the GTR ($200), the $80 video package for all cars your in that day (front and rear camera footage from inside the car), and lastly, the $99 ride along with a professional driver/drifter for 2 "Hot Laps" around the track in 2012 Corvette Z06. Before driving, you must attend a 30 minute presentation to discuss how to drive best when attacking a race course. The course mainly revolves around familiarizing you with the course and how to take turns optimally. After class, you head out to do a lap in an SUV, driven by an instructor, in order to familiarize yourself with the track. After all that's out of the way, it's go time! I drove the Nissan GTR first. My instructor was Joe. He was awesome. He basically let me drive the car however I wanted while only giving me suggestions along the way (when to down shift, upshift, position myself for a turn). He was encouraging me to take turns way faster than I thought I should but the car took it like I never would have believed. By the third lap, I was pretty familiar with the cars driving mechanics and I was FLYING! I passed 2 Ferrari 458s, a Ferrari F430, a Mercedes SLS and a Lambo Gallardo in my GTR. No one ever passed me. I was screaming in this thing. When I go back, I am signing up for a lot of laps in the GTR. The GTR is cheap and EXTREMELY rewarding to drive. Next I drove the Aventador. The instructor Jason was pleasant, but he intervened MUCH more in my driving experience. He has his own brake on the passenger side that he used OFTEN to impede my progress into turns. He also would scold me when I didn't turn into a turn perfectly (it's my first day! C'mon!). Overall, the Lambo, while still fun, is not as easy to drive as one might think; I was probably circling the track a good 7 seconds faster per lap in the GTR. Also, while fast, the acceleration was not as fast as I thought a 700hp supercar would feel like. To further put things into perspective, I only passed one car, a Gallardo, while in the Aventador. My last lap in the Aventador, I was trying to track down a 458 but on the straight away, I couldn't catch him (surprising a 700hp car can't catch a 560hp car on a straight away). Also, towards the end of my last lap, I had a 458 catch up behind me and he was tailgating me, eager to pass, though, I got off the track before he could since I had finished my last lap and was done. Overall, this is a must experience for any car enthusiast. This easily ranks as one of the best experiences IN MY WHOLE LIFE, and I've done some amazing things with my life. My advice: Drive a Ferrari and Lambo if you never have (my dad has an F430 that I've driven before) just to say you've done it. What it ultimately comes down to is this: I would rather be seen on the street in a Ferrari/Lambo, but if you're not a professional race car driver, the GTR makes you feel like one and it is so much fun to drive. Push the GTR to the limits and it will surprise you! You never feel out of control and will be shocked when you're spinning the wheel into turns effortlessly while approaching triple digit speeds and hearing the tires squealing while still feeling absolutely confident in the cars abilities. The GTR is also the second cheapest car there is (Porsche Cayman S is the cheapest). You could get at least 10 laps in the GTR for the price of the Aventador. Ferraris and Lambos be damned! Next time I go, I'm signing up for A LOTof laps in the GTR! read more

I have been going back and forth with myself whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars but Joe, the instructor in the Lamborghini Gallardo was really good and turned the experience around I think. Read the full story below or if you just care about my tips the very last paragraph. Had I only driven the Ferrari this place would get 1 star. I had 2 different instructors in the Ferrari as the first (very old dude - the oldest instructor I saw) made me turn out and then had somebody else 'deal with me'. He didn't like that I in fact tried to push the car - not to its limits but to my limits. We had no incidents but I did not shift as they tell you at 6000rpm (which is a joke) but rather at 7500. I also had put the F430 into race mode (w/out him noticing) which stiffens the suspension and increases the throttle response - this seemed to be too much for the old geezer. Anyway - I would not recommend driving any of the Ferraris with them - they are overprotective of these cars and ruin the experience to be easy on their cars and make even more money - disappointing. The Lambo however, or better the combo of Lambo and Joe made this lots of fun. Had I only driven the Gallardo it would have been a 4 star rating. 5 star is out of the question since this is way overpriced and 5 laps really means 4 laps plus the way in and out of the pit. It is a 1.1mi track so they are making bank charging up to $399 for 5mi. To sum it up, it is worth the experience to go there to hear the cars and I would say driving one of the easy to drive cars (GTR, Gallardo, R8) is fun as the instructors are less freaked out. Driving the interesting cars (Ferrari) will not be fun unless rolling around the course is enough for you for that price. read more

Went here with some friends and drove Lambo Guillardo 250. What an amazing machine. The only thing was I felt like my drive instructor wasn't that great. He seemed more interested in getting me through the track and on to the next one rather than really giving me the top-notch driving experience that I paid for. Just attitude really and that makes a big difference. Didn't really seem to care much about my experience. That part was a dissapointment and it didn't help me to feel comfortable in an already stressful experience of driving a really expesnive car 120+mph on a track. read more

I had a horrible experience when I visited. I'm writing to help you get a better one. First of all, I was told that all of their ride-along instructors were professional race car drivers, but there's no way that could have been true for the guy who went with me. He was way too overweight to be a race car driver. And this extra weight completely negated the reason for taking the F430 Scuderia.. I would have been better off with the base 430 and a different ride-along instructor. Second of all, the actual experience is nerve-wracking: While you are driving you have this guy sitting next to you yelling "LEFT LEFT LEFT, BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE, FULL THROTTLE, RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT, FULL THROTTLE, BRAKE!" and all I'm trying to do is avoid other cars and keep the car on the track for the first lap. It's very difficult to decipher what the guy is saying and integrate that with what you think you should be doing. It would be a lot better if the guy would just shut up for the first two laps and let you drive the car - no need to try to get the fastest time immediately. Furthermore the race line should be painted on the track so the instructor doesn't need to keep you on it by yelling at you. I was so confused by it all that my friends told me afterward that I only got 3 laps. I honestly hadn't been keeping track because I was too focused on following commands the whole time. I don't know why I only got 3 laps, maybe the tutor felt I was dangerous (I have no reason to think that - I kept the car under control and avoided other cars well), but he never mentioned anything and certainly didn't say that he was taking me in early. It's my mistake that I didn't take it up with management at the time, but honestly, I didn't enjoy the experience so much that I wasn't in a hurry to get back in the car with that guy. My advice is that you ask your ride-along 'race car driver' to give you the minimum instructions necessary to have FUN until you know the track well enough. and COUNT YOUR LAPS! If you do those things, I think this is a great experience. Also, if you go, be sure to schedule your visit ahead of time. My friends and I showed up without a reservation and the whole thing ended up taking about 4.5 hours... obviously most of the that was just sitting around waiting. read more
