Besides the regulars, who either dock here or come to put their boat in here, there is a great rental shop. It is a wonderful gateway to kayaking the lake, which is generally calm. It is also possible to head out from here to one of the camping islands on the lake. Easily accessible with a sail boat, but also by paddling. One thing to note - squam is a no jet ski lake, although motorized boats are allowed.

After a few visits it became clear that this place was a circus - constantly disorganized and unable to follow through on simple requests for service. All the other niceties they are trying cannot compensate for the inability to provide competent marine services. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

They diagnosed the problem immediately, and drove that night to pick up the part from another marina out of town, it was fixed and on the water by 10am July 4. it saved the family weekend. Staff was friendly, made the process easy and gave us a good overview on the machines (which were all identical).
