My dishwasher did not fully drain after a recent wash cycle was complete. I subsequently spoke to Walt at Expert Appliance Repair, who cheerfully scheduled Manager-Technician Leo's next-day visit for diagnosis and possible repair, which was four days sooner than a manufacturer's tech's availability. Leo thoroughly examined the unit's drain hose and air gap, and then tested the motor, which he found to be defective. He then immediately ordered a replacement motor, intending to return and install it the next day. Early that next day, Expert Appliance Repair dispatched an employee to acquire the new motor, and then re-assigned the service call to another technician when Leo's preceding service calls proved to be unexpectedly complex. Subsequently, Technician Andy arrived with new motor in hand, which he then installed, while effectively protecting the surrounding wood floor. In the process, he also corrected the placement of the bottom drip tray, which had been installed upside-down during the dishwasher's original installation. Andy's additional efforts also allowed the leak sensor to be re-attached in its correct position. My interactions with Expert Appliance Repair were all positive, beginning with Walt's pleasant attitude and quick action to include my initial service call in a skilled employee's schedule. Leo's and Andy's can-do attitudes reflect well on their company, and their treatment of my home was very respectful. Ultimately, their skill in diagnosis and repair proved very welcome, as they returned my dishwasher to service within a short timeframe, even though it was an unexpected addition to their schedules, which culminated late on a Friday evening. We have used Expert Appliance Repair twice now. They are our go to from now on! Their response time from when we called, was within a day or two Which was nice we didn't have to wait long without an operating appliance. I certainly don't like to do dished by hand! Our service man, Andy, is great! He is professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He has been responsive every time we have needed him and answers all of our questions. He works quickly and gets the job done. He gave us tips and information on our appliances that he worked on (clothes washer and dishwasher) so we can better care for them and prolong there use. My technician, Leo was amazing! I had an issue with my oven that gave an error message and wasn't heating correctly. Leo came out on time, called beforehand (as promised) and was extremely knowledgeable, polite, personable and friendly. He efficiently ran multiple tests and confirmed that it would be less expensive to purchase a new stove. Not only was he honest and didn't take my money for a repair, but his professional opinion was that I'd be better off with a new one. He could've taken money for an expensive fix, but he didn't. These guys are a scam!! Do not use them. The address they list is NOT theirs. They took our money, did something to get our dishwasher to work for a few days and left. The 30 day warranty if a joke. They will not call back or do the warranty repair. I am spending the extra time to track them down and take them to small claims court. BEWARE of their lies! read more

My wife and I moved into a new house and four months later our dishwasher stopped working. I called Expert Appliance after having a good experience with Andy on a prior job. He came over the following day and diagnosed a malfunctioning motherboard. The dilemma was that the dishwasher was 17 years old! Andy was very transparent about the pricing for parts and labor and allowed us time to consider replacing a unit versus replacing the motherboard and keeping the old dishwasher. For a number of reasons, it was best for us to replace the motherboard. We called Andy back and he showed up that same day to replace the motherboard. It's been several weeks and our dishwasher has never worked better. I found Andy to be knowledgeable and appreciated his logical approach to diagnosing the problem with our dishwasher. I had a great experience with Expert Appliance Repair. They were able to come out the same day and didn't charge the exorbitant fees some other repair services do for same day calls. They were clear and upfront on their service call fee ($121.00) which would be the base charge, not extra, should more repairs be needed. The technician was able to determine the cause of our dishwasher issue in no time and repaired it quickly. He also looked at our refrigerator when he heard a loud popping sound as I opened the door. He quickly found what caused this and informed me of what was needed for the repair. This was a first; to have a repair technician take a look at another appliance that was not on the schedule. For under $200 we had issues on two appliances addressed. Both of which have been perplexing us for months. We will definitely be using this company going forward. read more

Gave us good info - fix would be $$$ (kinda more than I'd hoped, but it was pretty well borked & much less than a new 'fridge would be). Had everything they needed to fix our Samsung 'fridge. After failing to fix my refrigerator, the tech has tried to convince me that a refrigerator temperature above 40 degrees is perfectly fine, and food safety is not an issue. A representative came to my house and looked at my fridge to tell me that my fridge was broken and would cost a lot to fix so I would be better off buying a new one, it took 5 minutes for them to tell me this and yet cost $121.
