I used Expert City Movers for a move back in October, and I was not disappointed. I found them through Yelp, was impressed with other reviews and contacted them. Within an hour, I was contacted by Michael with pertinent information about pricing and logistics. I also spoke with Simon the following day just to clarify a few things and officially book them. Somewhere in the conversation, I mentioned being a teacher. When I received the confirmation email later, I noticed that I was even given a teacher's discount. On moving day, the two movers (forgive me, I've forgotten their names ) showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They were able to move my one bedroom apartment from Pearland to Friendswood in an hour and a half - including drive time. Everything was intact; they even kept up with a few screws that fell off of my bed frame. Even before the discount their prices were fair and under what I budgeted for. (Which was so nice because moving in the middle of a school year is hard enough without worrying about going over budget.) I am grateful to and appreciative of Michael and Simon, the movers and the company for their great work. And, I definitely plan to use them in the future. read more

There are many moving companies in Houston but it was hard to find any good moving company. I contacted around 8 moving companies and half of them were booked out, others were slow to reply and had different kinds of additional fees. Expert Houston Movers were available to help and our communication was quick,clear and easy. This moving company has very simple billing system, only additional charge they have is packing boxes fee if you need boxes.I scheduled my move and paid my deposit over the phone.Shortly I received confirmation email with all the details. Movers showed up 10 minutes earlier.These guys were extremely efficient, quick and friendly.They had great attitude and it was pleasure to work with them. I haven't used movers before , but Expert Houston Movers were fantastic. I had a great team of movers that came to move my apartment from Houston to Dallas. They very able to schedule my move the next day. My arrival window for movers and a truck was between 8 and 9 am. Movers called me 15 minutes before 8,and they arrived exactly at 8 am. The truck was huge and clean. Movers covered my furniture. The only heavy item I had was my piano,which movers easily wrapped with a blanket , put it on a dolly and moved it to the truck. Two movers were able to move the piano. Booking was as easy as moving. Office gave me a quote and movers were able to finish my job faster than was expected,so I saved some money. I never hired movers before. To do this move I called my friends to help. I bought beer and snacks but last minute I had a cancellation call from both of my friends. I had to find moving company that can handle my move same day. I called 10 different companies in Houston and only 2 were able to help me. I decided to go with Expert City Movers Houston because the were more professional on the phone and replied quick. I was surprised to see four movers in front of my house in only 2 hours after I called the office. We signed the contract and movers got to work. It took them less than 2 hours to pack and load my furniture and boxes. All job was done in 4 hours. Nick reconfirmed the morning of the move, and also texted me when they were 20 minutes away with their ETA!The 2 movers were right on time! I pointed out exactly what needed to be moved and I just got out of the way! I knew upfront the terms of the contract which was minimum three hours and double drive time! After I signed the contract, time did not start until the movers brought in the materials needed to start! That's another plus! These two guys really worked well together and efficient! Finally they allowed me to lead the way to our next destination which I knew was the shortest way! Everything exceeded my expectations and was completed door to door and under three hours! Like everyone else we had a great experience with Expert Houston Movers. Movers did a good job packing and moving and they didn't waste time. Every member of my moving crew were polite, efficient, hard working and punctual. Moving truck showed up promptly on the moving day. Truck had a lift gate so it was easy to load my piano. Movers were very careful with my furniture making sure not to hit the walls and not to scratch floors or my furniture. Expert Houston Movers had us completely moved from Houston to Pasadena in less than 8 hours despite the fact that the had to move 4 bedroom house and garage. Great job! I had a local move in houston. I had originally booked with another moving company, but they called the day before the move and canceled. I called every moving company in greater Houston area and only 2 of them were available. I hired Expert Houston Movers because of their better price.  The movers from Expert Host Moving Company were great! Moving companies usually hire part time college students , but these guys were real experts. All my belongings were taken care of. Movers came with clean truck and were uniformed. Hired Expert City Movers after reading the Yelp reviews and was very pleased with everything. Making appointment was easy and informative and friendly. Repeatedly asked if I had questions and reminded me to call back if I had any after the appointment was made. Nick and 2 others called 35 minutes ahead of arrival and arrived right at beginning of the 1 hour arrival window. The 3 guys went right to work wrapping up furniture and getting it loaded in truck. We then went to a storage unit to pick up more things and then went to the new house to unpack and set up. All fast,courteous friendly and focused. Liked working with these guys and you will too. We had a local move in Houston. Nick and Jason were great. They showed up on time and took time to understand what needed to be packed and what didn't. My wife and I had not quite finished sorting everything in our garage -- what moves and what's heavy trash. Nick and Jason were patient and flexible, and always asked us with each item to make sure they were packing up the right things. They also packed up a few heavy furniture items in the house. On the delivery side, they were quick and efficient and flexible with us as we determined where all the pieces needed to go. We're in a temporary rental house (smaller than the house we're selling) so it isn't easy to make everything fit! read more

Expert Houston Movers has clear billing system , no hidden fees. Reserving my move was simple. When they finished my move I received a follow up call. They really care about their customers.  Movers were great. They were on time , clean , polite and professional. I had 2 trucks full of stuff. I was sent to Houston by my company for work. I rented budget to drive my belongings to Houston. That was a long trip. I hired Expert City Movers Houston to help me unload my truck. Customer service was great and easy to communicate. I had to postpone arrival time a few times and it was ok with them. Never trust GPS . When I arrived movers already have been waiting for me. They brought dollies and tools , it was really helpful. Movers got to work immediately after we signed papers. It took them less than 3 hours to unload the huge truck and assemble my furniture. We recently bought a house in Houston. Our agent recommended us Expert Houston Movers. My experience with this moving company was wonderful! We bought a 2 story house and movers had to take most of furniture upstairs. For my office I have a huge antique desk , it's weight is around 350 pounds. Movers put 5 blankets on my desk to protect and they were extremely careful tasking it in my office. I appreciate everything they did to protect my furniture and my new house. Movers just left my Office. They did amazing job ! Expert Houston Movers delivered a huge copy machine and were able to bring it through my narrow hallway. I was really worried about this new copy machine. I paid more than 5 thousand dollars for it. Expert Houston Movers saved me. When they took it from the truck I was sure that movers won't be able to bring it inside the office. Movers did incredible thing , they even had to lift 400 pound machine and carry it at some point. My friend got a new job in Houston and as he was to busy he asked me to organize relocation of his furniture from New York to Houston. I hired movers in New York to load U-Haul and than I drove it Houston. I hired Expert City movers Houston to help me unload my truck . A while ago I moved from Houston to New York and I left some stuff back in Houston in a storage. Last week I finally moved the rest of my belongings to New York. I used POD to move my stuff. I hired Expert Houston Movers to load and pack my POD. Movers did a great job. They brought extra blankets to wrap my expensive dining set and they had a few strapped to secure my furniture inside of the pod. Movers were punctual , friendly and respectful. Aleksey and Kalihan did a fantastic job with my move in Houston! Moving is always stressful for me, but they made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. They were efficient, courteous, and careful with all of my belongings. They moved me from a house to a second floor apartment in no time at all. Alesky, Nurik, and Kalihan were FANTASTIC!!!! these guys were on time, worked carefully but efficiently. They took the time to wrap our items helping us avoid any nicks or scratches to any of our items or the property (walls/doors/etc.). They provide wardrobe boxes which is A HUGE HELP!!! These guys are young, energetic, strong, and VERY professional. I hope we don't move for a ehole, but if we have to, we will be using them again.
