    New shower & tub installation
    James H.

An experienced & confident service employee showed up on time to remodel the wet area in our guest bathroom in one day on a Saturday. During the process our service contractor would stop & explain what was being completed & why for those steps. Well worth the premium money spent for an excellent finished wet area bathroom remodel.

The before, during & after - we're in love! (We requested that panel height, and we have a diff company doing the shower doors)

There were some miscommunications and delays, but hiccups are unavoidable for projects this big! Me and my husband wanted our two bathroom windows replaced shown in the photos, our bathtub removed and replaced with a shower and a seat, and the previous shower be turned into a bare closet to build off of later. (FYI we have a seperate contractor doing the shower doors). Despite a few inconveniences, there were so many wonderful above and beyond moments that make this a five star experience! First, shoutout to the hard work from Michael FZ, the build contractor for Expo Home Improvements (EHI)! The photos don't do justice, the pieces put together are beautiful! EHI doesn't sell shower panels, so ours was bought online and installed by Michael FZ, (we requested one be mounted higher than the other for height reasons). They also used numerous rugs when bringing their supplies in and out of our house to protect our flooring. There's so much great work from him, but to keep this short, I'll recognize this last highlight - we requested two minimal recessed shower shelves. One of the planners that came to our house was unsure if this could be done, since EHI does a different style of recessed shelves. Me and my husband still wanted to go through with it. As you can see, Michael FZ made it work and did a BEAUTIFUL job! Now for one area of improvement... When it was building day and the shower materials we signed off on with our EHI representative arrived incomplete delaying construction, EHI gave us a small discount with a new set of alternative materials that would arrive complete and fitted. We choose materials a second time and let the team planners know which ones we chose. Later when we had one of the construction planning guys stop by, he told us HOW the materials we chose were actually going to be implemented... which were in ways we didn't know about and didn't agree to. Me and my husband are grateful the planning guy talked us through this, because we changed HOW the builders were going to build with the materials, and made it to our expectations. I wish the team planners talked us through this initially when we had to choose a new set of materials, because they only asked us which materials we wanted, and then made up their own design for our shower with it. In the end, we were able to get what we wanted. Despite some miscommunications and delays, Michael FZ was our star and did everything right. He knew what he had to do and followed through. He didn't just give us a new bathroom, he gave us art.

So far not really happy. Got a right sided tub when I have a left side tub. Day one install not complete yet. May adjust raring depending on how they do on day two Update: they did outstanding work. The boss even came out. It was a mistake that nobody caught until it was to late. Needed it done asap due to the cats going underneath the tub and had more issues with pests when the hole was placed on the wall. Did agood job with covering it up. Overall it was a good experience. Professional and quick once the plumbing got fixed. :). They even fixed the huge hole under the tub where the plumbing was. Outstanding customer service as well. I also love the finished work as well.

    Replaced builder's glass shower stall.

We are having to delay our remodeling project till next year, so I will update this review with…read moremore info when we move forward, but Teamwork Home Designs already deserves a resounding 5 Stars, and is absolutely who we would want to move forward with. Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

My experience with this company was disappointing. Before hiring, I recommend asking to speak with…read moreprior clients and reviewing completed projects similar to the scope of work you are considering. The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

Very responsive all around e.g. daily plan discussions with the team, priority room convos. Dave and Casey were the main painters and wow are they great. Extra care for rounded corners and ceilings and attention to detail. Always arrived on time, worked very full days and cleaned up, stowed drop cloths, ladders and all their tools of the trade before they left at the end of the day. I'll definitely contract with them for my next projects.

We needed a complete over-haul incorporating the kitchen with the dining room. They reconfigured walls, moved the sink, installed a new window and new door. They replaced the cabinets and installed a beautiful quartz countertop and backsplash. We ended up having them resurface and paint the living room walls since the kitchen walls looked so good (we went from textured to flat). There were carpenters, plumbers, electricians, an amazing sheetrock team and other specialists that helped with everything. All of the professionals that did work, did everything according to code and I'm happy with the end result and quality of work inside and out. Communication throughout the entire process was always constant (we had a text thread going that we could reply to anytime). They planned out the order of work and explained everything I wanted to know more about. They helped refine our design and were open to suggestions to help me make better decisions and get the results I wanted. I'm happy with how everything turned out and I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone looking to update their house.

I am updating the review to respond to the business's calculated misrepresentation of the facts and…read morean attempt to minimize severe, documented building code violations. For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th. The 42-page independent inspection report, which we received on June 29, definitively confirms that the widespread, concealed code violations and structural deficiencies cannot be resolved through superficial patching. The report details systemic failures, including improperly installed weather-resistant barriers, missing flashings, overdriven fasteners, damaged boards, unsealed wall penetrations, and an internal PVC plumbing pipe that was punctured by a fastener and actively concealed with black duct tape. The Manufacturer's Involvement: James Hardie is indeed involved, to the extent that the manufacturer offered to provide free replacement materials to JP Exteriors so they could execute a proper rework. JP Exteriors leadership actively refused this offer. We stand entirely by our documented evidence, our 42-page forensic inspection report, and our active fraud dispute with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The video proof of punctured plumbing remain on this review.
