I feel it's important to update everyone on the situation, especially after their recent response to my complaint. After sharing my ordeal as an 82-year-old disabled woman who faced numerous issues with their service, I was contacted by the company. Instead of apologizing or attempting to rectify the situation, they implied that the fiasco was my fault for not calling them during the move. This response is not only disappointing but also indicative of their lack of customer service and empathy. Absence of Accountability: Their response was devoid of any accountability. As a customer, I expected at least an acknowledgment of the mishaps and a sincere apology. Instead, they chose to deflect responsibility. Lack of Understanding and Compassion: Their failure to understand the challenges faced by an elderly, disabled person during a move is deeply troubling. It was unreasonable for them to expect me to manage and oversee the move actively. Inadequate Customer Service: A fundamental aspect of customer service, especially in the moving industry, is to provide support and assistance, particularly to those who are vulnerable. Their response showed a complete disregard for these principles. No Effort to Resolve the Issue: There was no attempt made to address the problems I faced, such as the left-behind belongings or the unprofessional demand for tips despite a substantial payment from the government. In light of these issues, potential customers should be wary of Expo Movers and Storage. Their handling of my complaint only adds to the list of reasons why they should not be trusted with the responsibility of moving, especially for those who are elderly or disabled. I urge anyone reading this to consider my experience as a cautionary tale and choose a moving company that respects and values its customers and is willing to take responsibility for its services. read more

For me, moving from one place to another hasn't been a big deal. I had no shortage of friends with pickup trucks to help me since I was just moving from Point A to Point B in the same city or a city nearby. But I knew I had to hire a moving company when I had to move from New York to Florida. I was used to being in charge and running the show, but I had to rely on someone else to coordinate it all for me. That's why I chose Expo Movers. They were my choice right off the bat with the first conversation with the Ivan answering the phone. He was courteous, professional and helpful and didn't mind answering my many questions. The gentleman who met with me to make an inventory list and explain their services was very thorough and patient. The price he gave me was right on the money with no hidden fees or surprise additional charges after the move or at the last minute. The movers had no trouble moving the larger furnishings and fragile possessions like mirrors and glass figurines that I had. They were a team of professionals who worked well together. I found Expo Movers through searching for best movers. Research done about comments, found that Adrian did great estimates and customers described the experience was fabulous. So in May we set an estimate Adrian showed up to our small and extremely packed with challenges. He was very professional, listening to every detail and concerns. So our moving got so delayed like 5 months!. Adrian still after all this time passed, remembering us!! We requested a new estimate. He walked us through the process, taken all the burden off our shoulders. Today meeting at 8am in Brooklyn to pack, punctual! Showed up with a great team. They carefully and calmly handle so much and it was 2 trucks by 1pm..!! All was packed and ready to go. We than took 20 min to do light cleaning. Adrian called to complete paperwork and charges! All movers in best of moods a total pleasure. They provide all moving materials and trucks . He had an impressive amount of men power, they helped w. I rarely leave a review, but EXPO MOVERS deserve this 5 star rating. My original movers never showed up this morning, and as I was sitting in my apartment surrounded by boxes and tears I started to make calls to different movers. Finally after calling over 20 places Expo came through for me by sending an amazing crew over within 2 hours. Ivan was amazing he worked w me and turned what could have been a nightmare into a very happy ending. The crew came all the way from Manhattan to Queens to help me move into Ridgewood on Fresh Pond Rd..... if anyone knows Fresh Pond it is a nightmare w parking and traffic. These 3 superhero's did an amazing job. They arrived on time, with a great attitude, extremely polite, efficient and worked extremely hard!!!! They had to walk up two flights of very narrow stairs, and they did great. Reasonably priced and no damage to my furniture. No complaints whatsoever. Moving is stressful enough as it is. Ivan and his team are as detail oriented, tactful, and sensible as a moving company can possibly get. I recently moved from NY to Miami and it's the first time ever I've experienced such an efficient and seamless move. I've moved across 3 different countries, including 2 states (in the US) in the past few years and have unfortunately experienced instances where boxes have gone missing and other minor mishaps but Ivan and his staff were so reassuring, clear and supportive. Everything arrived exactly as packed and his team had THE BEST attitude and approach. They are extremely cleanly, which I appreciated - asked questions throughout the packing process and upon arrival greeted me with the biggest smile, which makes any move even more the worthwhile. Best, least expensive moving company we have ever used. Got very fast response from Ivan when asking for a quote. Our situation changed several times but he always gave us rapid and helpful feedback. The final quote was lower than the competition and he included our piano in the move without any additional charges - unlike everyone else! Day of the move-out they showed up on time and took about three hours to pack the truck with furnishings and ~130 boxes from a 4 bedroom colonial. Adrian who managed the move did a fantastic job. His crew was polite and highly efficient and did not damage any furniture or mar or dent any walls on the move-out. We moved out of state. The next day they showed up on time again. They took about three hours to move everything including assembly of beds and a dining room table. Again no damage to any items or to our new place. They removed all unpacked boxing materials and padding. Hire these guys for your next move! read more

I have recently moved to Long Island City from downtown Manhattan and I couldn't have been happier with all this process being done professionally and in a timely manner than by letting Expo Movers take care of it. Before moving, I spoke to Adrian in order to find out an estimate price, but considering the fact that I had a lot of clothing and art decorations that needed to be packed, he suggested sending Ivan to get a better estimate of what I have and to provide me with an accurate price based on that, which turned out to be very reasonable. On the moving day, the team on duty not only arrived on time but did an excellent job within a few hours from the starting time. I was pleasantly impressed with their professionalism, dexterity, and courtesy, which is why I recommend them to all of you looking for a crackerjack moving company. I can't say enough about expo movers . They were absolutely incredible . I have used other moving companies before but no one was as good and as fast as Expo. Their movers were so kind and nice . I didn't have to do anything . I first moved in 2017 and I used a different moving company. They charged me through the roof . I called to ask them to be a repeat customer for my most recent move and they were charging me an insane amount again. I even looked at other companies and everyone was completely ripping me off. One day before the move , I called up expo movers - they were happy to schedule me in and gave me an excellent rate . They even helped me pack fragile goods from the old apartment and helped take out trash from the new apartment . Great experience moving with them - I couldn't have been more at ease . We moved from Manhattan to Jersey City using their White Glove service including full packing and unpacking. Ivan did a great job getting everything set up before hand. The four moving specialists - Adrian, Radu, Andrew, and Dennis - were beyond exceptional. They were all very professional, friendly, careful, and efficient. The move went seamlessly thanks to their help. One of the special things about Expo is that they will help you rehang and mount paintings and TVs and other things in your new place, which was an immense timesaver. It's like hiring a mover and handyman at once. Additionally, they did a great job unpacking and made the move in process much easier saving us a lot of time. I searched around, calling over two dozen movers and comparing reviews online. Expo Movers got my business because they seemed to be the best and had a great price, and I had a great experience with them. My move was from New York to Nevada. Other companies wanted to bundle my belongings in with other people's and take 20 days to deliver. If I wanted a truck with just me stuff to arrive in a week, they were exorbitantly expensive. Expo movers moved my stuff in a truck, with nobody else's stuff in that truck, so no mixups, and they delivered it two days later. They were extremely fast, seemed extremely careful, and there was no damage to my belongings. What's more, they were among the lowest price out there. Anatoli was my mover and driver, and he was very nice. 10/10 I recommend these movers. read more

This was my first time using a moving company, I never thought that I would ever hire movers to relocate my stuff to another house. I heard all the horror stories about the moving industry and how all the people are getting scammed. Not with these guys! First of all I would like to thank the moving consultant Ivan for his help and making me feel a little bit more comfortable at the first stages. Once the moving date came all the tension and stress disappeared the minute after the huge Expo Movers truck showed up 15 min before the scheduled time. 3 guys jumped out and started to rock'n'roll. Ivan and his team were AMAZING! We moved from Long Island to New Jersey and they did an awesome job. They were on time, careful, very affordable and also very quick with the move. Ivan the owner reached out to us personally a few times before the move to see if we needed anything. He really made the stress of moving absolutely stress free. He was there to oversee his crew and asked if we had any concerns or needs during the move. We have used other movers in the past and were caught off guard with surprise charges and very slow pace. This is the first time I've used Expo Movers and it will be the only company I use to help me move, form now on. Ivan and his team were amazing - they showed up early and were friendly and attentive to all of my belongings, treating them with care and even re-wrapping things I had already packed up, just to make sure they were extra safe. The move itself was as smooth as can be and we were in and out in such a short time, especially for a one bedroom apartment. They even took away some of my boxes and garbage, as I was unpacking while they were moving things from the truck into the apartment, so that by the time they had moved all of my things into my new apartment, I was almost completely settled in! I was Googling moving storage companies and came across Expo Movers's website. I called them up and they gave me a quote. I used their packing and moving service. The guy I worked with over the phone, was very helpful. He gave me a quote based on what I told him over the phone. The moving guys were very professional and courteous, and they came on time. Everything that they moved out of my house was packed up really neatly, and they jotted it down. They gave me a price on how much the move would be. I paid a portion of it up front, and then I paid the rest once they delivered my stuff to the place I'm living at now. It has been an awesome experience. Had an incredible experience using Expo Movers! Adrian and his crew, Roman and Chris, showed up right on time. They were very friendly and incredibly professional. It wasn't the most straightforward move, but they handled it with ease and amazing skill. They were very efficient yet careful with all of my stuff. They disassembled, wrapped, and re-assembled my furniture, and set aside fragile items. They did it all with grace and ease. My move, including packing and unpacking, took them only 3.5 hours. Adrian, Roman and Chris made a stressful experience very easy. They were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them. Expo moved our daughter from NYC to Northern Virginia in late February. They did a terrific job - we could not have been more pleased. They showed up on time, bright and early, and introduced themselves prior to getting down to it. They were super organized, very careful and respectful of the household items, and were finished in NYC within the projected timeframe. On the Virginia end of things, they dealt professionally and in a very good natured way with a loading dock SNAFU. They moved items into the new home in the same careful, organized, and efficient manner. Nothing was damaged and in fact they fixed two items that were wobbly or loose. Ivan and his crew are beyond outstanding. My husband and I downsized from a very large home to a much smaller living space! First of all.. I called Ivan A LOT and I mean A LOT and every call he had unlimited patience . We have a very large leather couch that we never thought would make it into our townhouse. Ivan reassured us that the couch would fit and a miracle ... It does! Ivan's crew puts wall protectors up , floor protectors , and not one scratch is visible in our home. I would look no further I've moved a fairly good amount of times in my life but I never had a experience like the one I had yesturday but before I go any further (the background story) So I message them in yelp and ask if they could give me a estimate for a same day move they got back to me almost immediately answer all my question provided a really affordable estimate and came around 130 (on time) help me moved all my stuff kept a really positive attitude despite the hot weather and there being no air conditioner they were professional the whole time and treated my stuff with care i had a easy move thanks to the wonderful crew I'll recommend there services any day read more
