Zero stars. Wanted to treat my mom to a mani-pedi on a Friday afternoon. Walked in, we saw they had people in chairs but had a few chairs open. We were asked to LEAVE and come back in an hour. I would give no stars if I could. Came in due to the yelp ratings but I wish i never did....We did not get a very warm welcome once we were inside followed by the worst SNS nails I've ever had. You're supposed to lightly buff the nail bed with SNS and the guy (Tony) sanded them down and then filed my nails all the way down after I told him I was naturally growing them out. Upon arrival, they offer you a drink and make you feel like you're the only person in the salon! Kim, Tony, Tina and the rest of the staff work hard to make sure you're satisfied with your nails! Kim is always getting new shipments in of colors and designs! They have of course regular paint and gel, Ombré, SNS, Chrome, Glow in the dark, mood, and the newest one, Cat Eye color! This place is AMAZING! I dont care how long you've went to your current salon or how much you love it, you HAVE to try this place at least once!! They don't herd you in and out like cattle. They take their time and honestly, treat you like family. When I went in, I had planned to get acrylic nails, as that is the only kind I've ever had. But seeing my poor nails, (or lack of them as I bite them into the quick) Kim suggested doing SNS nails as a healthier option, so I did and she was right! They look and feel amazing and so natural. Tony did them and they came out perfect. Jenny did my pedicure and I cannot say enough about her. She is so sweet, funny and kind. My feet feel better than they have in years! My husband decided to treat himself as well and Tina did a perfect job on his hands, while Tammy made him feel as though he had new feet. Even though it was past closing time, Kim stood and talked with us as though she had nowhere else to be. I just moved to this area and I've been in search of a new nail salon. I started the search a few weeks ago and went to two places, but they were full and they looked run down. I tried again today (September 23, 2017) and I noticed Expo Nail Spa had great reviews on Yelp and it was close to home. As soon as I walked in, I fell in love. The ambiance is so peaceful. What made Expo stand out amongst the like 10 other nail salons near by was the fact that they were customer service driven and provided great quality. They are starting to slip... Ms. Kim is great but she's highly requested and hard to get, even if you book an appointment with her. Now Tony, most of the time he seems agitated that he has to work here. I get SNS nails and he is very rough and heavy handed with the drilling/filing. I almost always leave with my cuticles all cut up. He placed no importance on making sure that all nails have the same shape. And I've left with lumps in the nails too. One time the SNS applied was like 3-4 shades darker than the swatch. When I told him he completely ignored me and continued on! I asked him to change it because the colors weren't the same and he gave some b.s excuse and only offered to paint gel on top of it. Check this out, he didn't even use gel polish, it was regular polish! I immediately left and went somewhere else for a new set of SNS. In one day $80 wasted on SNS between Tony's mess and the other place's fix. Smh. read more

They are very welcoming and very professional. My daughter is six and very indecisive and hyper but they were very patient with her and she was very happy with the outcome of her nails. Great service, clean salon, and friendly staff. The instruments come in sterilized packets that are opened in front of you. I had my gel color removed and a regular manicure. They removed the gel polish the correct way (in my opinion) by filing the top coat and then applying a cotton ball and clip to loosen up the base. I do not go to salons where you must soak the color off in a bowl full of acetone. Also, they were not trying to up-sell customers to more expensive services, like one salon in the area does continually. I got exactly what I requested without any issue. read more

Very disappointed. I don't appreciate services after I paid a lot of money to get my nails done. I have bubbles on my nails and now I have to go in again to get them fixed. So inconvenient. I come here every two weeks and get my nails done by Tony. Y'all, he is a perfectionist, so he always makes sure My nails are up to my expectation before before I leave. I absolutely love the ambiance here. They always offer me a glass of water or wine. They always are playing classical Hart, and it is just a relaxing space. This spa also has the absolute best lotion and pedicures. If I was every across town and needed my nails done, I'd surely come here because not only am I most comfortable, but they treat me so well and make it so hard to "cheat" on my nail spot. I get gel polish on top of acrylic, and a pedicure and it always comes out to about $40. That's about the average price for this area, so again, I'd suggest checking out an amazing ambiance for the same money you would spend getting tour nails done in a salon that could care less about you but ONLY about your money! Prices not listed in salon first mistake they are a la carte regular pedicure $22 only nails cut filed cuticle cleaned pumice stone scrub & polish all nailshops include callus remover $5 extra here. Fill $25 gel polish $15 most places gel $5/10.00. I wasn't offered a thing to drink. Pedicure was not great could have done better myelf. Nails polished very sloppy. Want be back again. The good nice decor & relaxing but otherwise dont waste your money. I have been getting nails done over 25 years this isn't the nailshop for me.
