This is a family owned, Vehicle Repair shop. The couple who own it and also work every day in the…read moreshop, are so friendly and outgoing to everyone. We have continually had great service and excellent communication from this shop. The last time I brought my car in for a repair, they provided a complete diagnostic report with photos of the problem. They broke down all of their concerns along with estimates for each itemized repair. We have brought all of our vehicles in, and had nothing but great service. It's tough to get reliable auto work done in a small mountain town. But CT's has really come a long way, providing dependable repair work in a friendly atmosphere. I recommend this business to anyone who asks.

I was in disbelief on how dangerous this was and I hauling heavy loads! I could have been killed or killed someone else if my tire had come off. I took it back to fix my problem and was met with rudeness and frustration by the manager. Like it was my fault.! I contacted the main office and was met with the same attitude. They tried to charge me $300 additional for parts after they broke it! I told them I would not pay that . They threatened me with a lien on my truck. Nothing came of this fortunately. HOWEVER, I had to take it back a few weeks later because my rear main seal was leaking because of the damage that occurred from the loose lug nuts. They fixed it. Then I decided I would never return my business. NOW I was checking my brake pads because I noticed a weird noise and discovered my whole right rear dually rotor is broken in half!!!! I'm so unbelievably frustrated because this will now be thousands of dollars in repairs because of their negligence. I will be reporting them to the BBB. If not suing them for the damage that was caused to my pickup that has NEVER Had a problem before. The fact I could have been in a major accident seems to be this businesses least concern. They charged me $685 to replace a wiring connector on the camshaft position sensor. I would hate…read moreto think what they would have charged if it were something more involved. Edit: Phil called in response to my review. See the attached invoice. I had already replaced the camshaft position sensor (a ten minute job), which was new. This did not resolve the code, which indicated the connection was intermittent. I had tested the connector with a multimeter, which indicated there was a bad connection at the connector. This was communicated to the service manager when I dropped off the vehicle. The technician stated that there was a broken tab on the camshaft position sensor, and they replaced the brand new part I had just installed. See the attached photo. That the tab could be broken without being filed off is highly suspect. It's a durable part. That the relatively fragile connector was damaged is more credible. In my opinion, as stated to the service manager, it was obviously the part that needed to be replaced. They replaced the connector, which again, I had communicated was the likely issue. They claim to have paid $110 for this part that I can purchase at Napa for $26. So in summary, I paid $685 to have them swap out a $26 connector. I can only conclude they're either dishonest or incompetent. Edit 2: Well Phil, now you're just outright lying. You did not show me the new camshaft position sensor you removed and replaced. Your technician did not perform any diagnostics, and ignored the diagnostic information I provided to you in advance. He just started swapping parts, AND overcharging for the time spent. Even if the sensor needed to be replaced, a $40 part that takes ten minutes to install, to charge me $685 is absurd.

Scared that we wouldn't be able to find service due to the holiday, I was pleasantly surprised when Waylon at Sutton automotive said they'd be open in Christmas Eve and they could take a look at my truck at 8am. I was even more surprised when they called within the hour to say it was only a loose radiator hose and they had it ready to go already for around $100 for the labor and pressure test. However I would recommend staying away from this business as the owners, although seem very nice, they take NO ownership of mistakes. They allow employees to park in the same small area as all of their business trucks and Customers vehicles. If damage happens "it wasn't us". Even though the business parked my RV and was told you're all set to stay. I open my slides and the 1 employee that insists on parking next to my rv is damaged. Owners said "I didn't push the button to open the slides. You did". So now I get that bill too. There was about $2,000.00 more work to be done on my RV. I had that stopped. The owners don't see they just lost $2,000.00 today because they allow employees to park wherever they want, but I hope future sales from work too will look somewhere else.
