I purchased my Lexus from Express Auto about 4 years ago and have been going there ever since. They are always friendly and helpful. VERY fair and will not recommend work that doesn't need to be done. At one point my son had taken his vehicle to a dealership in New Ulm that gave him a ridiculously expensive quote. We took it to Express Auto and they didn't charge anything because none of the items quoted actually needed to be done. They are very quick at getting the work done as well! I took my car here to have an exhaust leak fixed. They said it was on the down pipe and they just cut out the bad part and weld in new tubing. I asked them to put a new pipe on instead, 6 days later and my car hadn't moved. That's funny they had it diagnosed in an hour. He doesn't like it when you question his advise. The service writer was very short and condescending. Ever since Tony started working there, I have had problems with them getting my car done. Before that I never had a problem. I used to talk to Mike all the time. Now I just don't go there. Too bad there are several great mechanics there, but they aren't going to work on your car till you get past this guy. Would give it a worse rating if I could. I went to get my brakes done. Simple job. First they charge me 900$ just for back brakes. Than they don't even put the brakes on the back of my car and made it so I have to go to another place and spend money. Not a good auto shop wouldn't recommend to anybody unless they want to get scammed. read more

Express Auto fixed an issue that the Ford Dealership in town couldn't figure out after 6 attempts. Thank god my warranty ran it course. Harrison Ford's techs just found other things that "might" have caused the issues that weren't under warranty. Also, better tire prices than Discount Tire. read more

Called for simple pricing on a mount and balance and if they performed alignment service. Person in the phone was annoyed immediately, only follow up question I asked was if the alignment was for a 4-wheel alignment because some places will perform front end alignment and he asked me what other kind of alignment would it be?... So I'm obviously not impressed with the customer service or knowledge of the workers. They may do great work, but I don't prefer being talk down to when I'm asking simple questions from someone who should know what they are doing. read more

Very inconsistent. Took over a month to get our vehicle fixed. Lied about having the software and had to drag it elsewhere to fix. Constantly found something new that was an "issue". Should've been up front and honest from the start but weren't. read more

College aged female here. I called to get my brakes replaced and spoke with Dave. Very nice, they took me that morning and it wasn't long at all, maybe an hour or two. Everyone there was very kind, they knew what they were doing, and they came in regularly to give me updates about what they were doing with my car. I expected to be told some crazy stories where I NEEDED new things and that I'd be up-sold for sure, but there was none of that. No crazy upselling, they knew what they were talking about and were very upfront about everything. We only did my brakes, checked everything that I asked for, and made sure that my car was all set. Amazing service here! I went near closing and the staff was very friendly still. They had my oil change completed in 15mins. The staff informed me that with the oil my car uses that it can go a greater distance before another oil change is need. With this in mind I should watch for other companies who will try to tell me I need to come in more and scam me. They also applied a discount to my total knowing that I was in college and do not have a lot of money. read more
