Fortunately he was going slow enough that he was not injured but he was left stranded and the front fender of his car was damaged. This was a defective part and repair should have been covered by warranty. While AutoZone (part supplier) did pay for the repair to the front end, they have still not paid for the damage done to the front fender. It has now been 3 months since the incident and I just keep getting excuses. If this had happened at highway speed, my son could have been killed or seriously injured. Greg's and/or AutoZone need to step up and pay my son for the damage done to his car as a result of a faulty part!!!

Well he suggested Autotronics and boy am I glad they did. 3 months later oddly enough just before he headed back to school as the first unit failed as his first semester ended.
