I've come to this place a few times and have got either the $5 or the $10 wash. There's always some soap left on the back of our Ford Escape. This time I decided to try the $15 wash since it specifically says that "rinse" is one of the features not offered with the $5 and $10 wash. Same situation. I call over a staff person and ask if there's a way to drive back through and just get that sprayed down or something. They were very polite and apologetic, but they could only offer me the free window spray and towels. They said that this roof protrusion (yes I'm making that up) in the back is what causes the issue. They also said they've been discouraged from giving free washes so they couldn't offer me that. I'd say don't go here if you have a Ford Escape or a model of car whose roof juts out a bit in back. A bird dumped its entire GI tract all over my car and my wiper fluid tank hasn't been replaced yet so I found this place. In about 5 minutes and $5 it was good as new. Really can't beat that. read more

Saw this place built from the ground up and finally took my car in yesterday for a quick wash as the birds had a field day on my car! Great customer service from Rudy!! As soon as I drove up to the little machine to choose the type of wash I wanted, Rudy walked up to ask me if I've been there before. After I told him it was my first time, he took the liberty to explain to me about the different types of washes that I could get and the different promotions that they were running. I still ended up getting the $3 basic wash and Rudy didn't try to upsell me at all. He was very friendly and helpful. Best customer service that I've ever had from a carwash! The facility is all brand new. You're in and out in a jiffy, and no more bird poop on my car. I also love their driers at the end. Very powerful driers. I didn't need to wipe down my car! Yay! I tried to use my Yelp coupon to upgrade get a regular wash for $3, but they don't know how to do that. That's a shame...

"Express Car Wash" is located on Addison near Kilbourn Park. It's our go-to spot since it's the road we take to go back to the house. They advertise for "$3 wash" and "free vacuum." The $3 one is literally a rinse only. If you want a decent car wash, do the next tier, $7 one, at least. I personally think the $10 one does the best job. The difference between the $7 and $10 washes is the additional camo-color solution used on the windshield. I have never done the most expensive option ($15) at all. I believe it waxes the car. There's always an attendant there to answer any question. I used the Yelp check-in offer one time. It allowed me to upgrade to the $7 wash when I paid $3. All payments are made to the machines. The right lane accepts both cash and cards, while the left lane only accepts cash. Just be aware when you enter. read more

I honestly love this carwash, this is the only one I come to these days, for $3 my car is shiny mostly because it's white and black and I don't need to buy any other options since it gets dirty all the time. Though I hate it when it's busy as I usually vacuum my car after I get it washed, it can be very packed inside the parking lot with no space to get around. I frequently use this car wash on W. Addison & absolutely love this car wash (for the most part), love the idea of being able to come back 5 days later to wash my car all over again for free, love the night owl special and so on. But here is my issue, I have a hatchback and for some reason the car wash just zooms through rinsing and drying, leaving the back of my car covered in subs and soaked in the back. Is there any way you could possibly slow the equipment down to rinse thoroughly for us hatchback and suv drivers? Please do this, otherwise I will have to search for a different car wash. I had a bad experience on Wednesday August 30th, 2017 at the new car wash. They must be still working out the bugs in the new equipment, I went through like i ordinarily do and my car jumped over the tracks...twice. First time was right up front and i had to back up on a piece of wood to get back on tracks, second time was like 15 feet in, had to do the same thing only had water coming in on me because i could not hear what the guy was saying to me so I had to open the door. Tore off half of front bumper and did damage to wheel and undercarriage. I dont think that big red emergency button was working right. I left my contact info but they never called back so looks like i will have to do police report and get Lawyer and stuff. read more

I was told I am not allowed to use the vacuums to remove the leaves under the hood. Vacuums are for inside only. This is ridiculous!!! That's the whole point of coming here, to vacuum the leaves before I wash the car. Will never come back. read more

As good as it gets for an automatic car wash. Still had to towel dry a few spots which is no big deal. Went to two vacuum cleaners and neither worked is the only negative I can think of. Easy in easy out. Staff is helpful and the payment center is easy to use too. read more

Generally speaking I've found $3 Car Wash offers a decent service at a reasonable price. However my recent experience at the Addison site was somewhat disappointing. My "powerful vacuum" fell short of the advertised claim. The vacuum I used may need a filter replacement or other general maintenance. read more

Save your money and go elsewhere. I've only gone through the automatic since I'm pretty lazy. $7 and 10 minutes waiting in a long line I wound up getting it washed somewhere else the next day. Honestly, I spent more time waiting than actually getting my car washed. I'm thinking that the old system isn't used to odd shaped vehicles. My back was still dirty and each corner or crevice around my side mirrors and panels showed salty streaks. I avoid this place when I can. read more

I did the yelp check in for the coupon $7 wash for $3 but upon showing it to the person, the worker claimed he didn't know what yelp is or what I'm talking about. On top of that he was smoking while talking to me and hosing the car down. Very unprofessional and off putting when I couldn't even get a conversation in while he was puffing away.
