We walked the property and he listened to my ideas and offered suggestions that made sense. He got back to me with an estimate that I was really pleased with and worked within my schedule. A few days before everything was to be completed, Van came back and we walked the property again checking on the work already done and yet to be complete. Reggie is clearly experienced and has excellent judgment in terms of what needs to get done to achieve the look you're going for while addressing your concerns. We needed a few…read moretrees pruned, the lawn dethatched, aerated, and over seeded with top soil to fill in low spots. In addition, I got an estimate for the installation of cement block edging in the back yard. We agreed on a price and they were out the following week to begin the work. It rained thru most of the first day and they finished on the second day. Everything looked good and we paid for the work. As the week went on and the dirt settled I recognized that they never aerated (no plugs in the yard). In addition, the soils they used was poor quality, full of small rocks and mulch. Not good for when I mow the lawn. It's been about a month and very little grass has grown from the overseeding. We've had good weather and I've kept the ground appropriately watered, too. I reached out via text and the messages went unanswered. I am probably going to have to aerate and overseed again myself as there are a number of bare spots in the lawn, now. The trees and concrete edging does look good. I wish I could say the same for the grass.
