I have only been here once for my girlfriend's car, but I was honestly very impressed. I had called Jiffy Lube to ask about their wait times and the phone rang for 3-4 minutes with no answer. I decided to call Express and they answer before the phone could even ring a second time (granted it is the summer and their customers are more spread throughout the day). I immediately took her car in and they took the time to understand what I wanted and to explain everything so I knew what was going on. The oil change itself took roughly 20 minutes or so. They informed me of everything going on with the car in detail. Her transmission oil had not been changed and she was a few thousands miles past the due mileage for it, so the gentleman did urge us to get that done. It wasn't an attempt to up-sell as much as it was a genuine concern for the longevity of her car. I know this because things like the cabin filter needed to be changed, but he simply asked if we wanted to replace it now or wait. We said "not now"; he said "okay" and that was it. This is the second time I've called and the guys have tried to up charge a oil change 89 dollars when my ex would take my car it was 55 dollars women stand clear from these guys go to the chevron place on shields and chestnut they'll take care of you No sir i've done business with you myself and it seems that every time I go in I get up charged but when my ex would go, it would literally be $55 under $60 and I get what you're saying about the year make and model, depending on the car type of oil but not every car takes a full synthetic and I know my car is not a full synthetic to be paying 100 and something plus dollars maybe look a little more into your business and how your employees are promoting. I have always gone to them for oil changes. They are super fast and thorough. I've always thought their prices are reasonable. I recently went to have all my brake pads replaced but upon inspecting them, they advised me that only the front pads needed to be replaced. The back pads(and more expensive ones) simply needed to be cleaned. It's hard to trust mechanics or anyone who works on cars in general as a women. Fast and friendly service. However, I was not asked whether I wanted conventional or full synthetic oil and assumed conventional was the default. This was not the case and I received quite a sticker shock. $51.99 for "full service" + $70 (6 qts of synthetic oil Mobile 1 5w30) + taxes/fees/filter = $140.60. I went to clarify the cost afterwards and was told they always just use synthetic and synthetic costs extra. My fault I didn't ask before-hand because the job is already done. Advisor asked which oil we would like? I asked how much for standard, semi-synthetic, full-synthetic oil(s)? Advisor was clear and transparent with pricing, $47 conventional, $74 semi, $97 full synthetic! PERFECT! We asked for standard oil & filter. And they where off!! While draining oil & changing filter they cleaned all the windows & outer mirrors, topped off all fluids under the hood, attempted to upsell an air filter even though ours was not dirty haha, they checked & passed inspection on our new wipers, checked all signal & brake lights, AWESOME!! 10-min and PRESTO Chango, they where done! And ALSO ! What they said about the noise is it's my breaks but I just told them I've never heard this noise until y'all did my oil change. Couple days passed I don't here the noise no more. So I'm about to get my car checked SOMEWHERE ELSE and If they fucked up my car that I'm leasing !!!!! I'm sueing luckily my uncle a lawyer but didn't feel welcomed and felt like a burden. Made it there after work, before 6 (closing time) and they told me they were closed already. The guy that was sitting down looking bored told me no problem come on in, then a manager came out and said they were closed and made me reverse out of there. It wasn't closing time yet, he was just being lazy and didn't want to stay a few extra minutes after 6. I will gladly pay someone else that money, someone that wants to work.
