The Cummins diesel oil filter can be tricky, you can only access the filter through the passenger-side fender well. On these trucks, you really have to know what you're doing, right front tire has to be removed to properly access the fender-well opening and extract the oil filter. They handled the entire diesel oil change perfectly. Not a single drop of oil was left on my vehicle, and they also completed the safety checks, including my brakes and other important service items. I take all my vehicles here for automotive repair and maintenance. They are much more than just an oil change shop. I chose to hang out in the lobby, which was stocked with coffee, a popcorn machine, and a water dispenser. There were plenty of chairs and tables, and a TV for entertainment. The space was clean overall, though it was a bit too warm inside and I had to deal with a persistent fly and mosquito buzzing around my ear, which got pretty annoying. I ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes because they had my phone number wrong, but I don't fault them for that. The service was average, nothing exceptional, it got the job done. That said, the owner needs to take better care of these employees. On days when it hits 108°+, only having fans in the shop is brutal. These workers should have swamp coolers or be allowed to use personal portable AC units to stay safe and comfortable. I also noticed employees having to eat in their cars or stand because there's no break room for lunches or breaks. For how hard these guys work, that absolutely needs to change. I went to ASR right after I had a horrific experience at another tire and alignment shop. The…read moreprevious place did a complete and utter hack job. They actually made my alignment worse, gave me check engine lights, and couldn't even balance the wheels properly. When I got to ASR, Vuthy pointed out that the previous shop had put an excessive amount of wheel weights on one side of the wheel. He explained that the correct way to fix it would have been to break the bead and rotate the tire on the wheel so it would balance properly instead of just stacking weights in one spot. It was crazy how many weights were on there. That alone gave me confidence I had finally found people who actually knew what they were doing. I ended up paying them to do the work because it just was not worth the stress and hassle to deal with the previous shop. When it came to the alignment, Vuthy pointed out my lower ball joint was worn -- meaning the previous shop should never have aligned it in the first place, since it wouldn't fully hold anyway. Instead, he aligned it for free as a stopgap so my new tires wouldn't wear unevenly in the meantime. Once I had time, I brought it back and had the full lower control arm replaced given the mileage on the truck. Could not be happier with the result. It's absolutely insane how far above and beyond this shop has gone to get my truck running perfectly. This is exactly how an automotive shop should be--customer service oriented. They know what they're doing, they have the experience to do the work right, and they don't cut corners. I imagine that's why they have so many repeat customers and referrals. When you do great work and treat people right, it pays off in the long run. They have completely set a new bar for me when it comes to getting work done on my vehicle, and I'm so grateful Vuthy and his crew exist.

First of all I have to commend Nezo, the office assistant. He was very helpful and returned my call promptly and looked into all my inquiries, and got back to me with what needed to be done. He reassured me that the mechanic that was certified in Chrysler repair would do the best that could possibly be done. He was right, and the repairs were done correctly. I am like most people, I don't like to feel cheated or robbed. That was what my previous mechanic was trying to do to me. He told me that I needed an a/c compressor and expansion valve that would cost about 1200.00 and a new computer becz my car was overheating. That fix would cost 1700.00 as well. It was overheating becz my previous mechanic upon installing a new radiator and fan Jimmy rigged the wiring and used electrical tape to take short cuts that could have caused a head gasket or pistons to blow if it overheated. The a/c didn't need any parts, nor was it leaking. It simply needed freon. I had a feeling I was being snaked by my old mechanic. The Romita mechanic did the diagnostic work and fixed both issues for 800.00. Unfortunately, most of that was in diagnostic charges. But let me tell you, I at least have peace of mind that the work was done right the first time. I was not raked over the coals and robbed. Also, I will be moving out of state in a few months and the work is guaranteed for 24 months or 24k miles. That is not found in most repair shops here in Fresno. I highly recommend Romitas Auto Repair to anyone who may ask. Also, the place doesn't look like an auto repair shop from the "Chico and the Man" show from the 70s. It's clean, comfortable and there is a Lyft service offered within a distance radius to get home. I'm a disabled veteran on my own, and that is always a problem when you have to inconvenience someone you know for a ride home. Plus, a veterans discount is honored at this shop. Do yourself a favor and don't mess with the local chop shop. You'll be pleased by their honesty, professionalism, and courtesy.

We brought my daughter's 2014 Ford Focus to this shop because it would not start. After their inspection, we were given an estimate and authorized the repairs they said were necessary. During the process, we were then informed that the clutch also needed to be repaired, which significantly increased the cost. Although this wasn't part of the original estimate, we agreed because we wanted the vehicle repaired correctly and trusted their professional diagnosis. By the time everything they recommended was completed, we had spent approximately $3,700. Unfortunately, after all of those repairs, the vehicle still was not operating properly. We then had the car towed back to the shop because the original problem had not truly been resolved. At that point, we were told the issue was actually the fuel pump. This was incredibly frustrating because after spending thousands of dollars based on their recommendations, another major repair was suddenly needed. It left us questioning whether a thorough diagnostic had been performed in the first place. As a customer, I understand that older vehicles can develop multiple problems. However, when a shop performs a diagnostic and recommends thousands of dollars in repairs, I expect those recommendations to be based on a complete and accurate assessment. Instead, it felt like we addressed one expensive issue after another without ever getting to the root cause. I reached out to the owner in writing, hoping we could have a productive conversation and work toward a reasonable resolution. While I appreciate that they did respond, I was extremely disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of the financial burden this created and no offer of any reimbursement, credit, or goodwill adjustment after we had invested so much money and still ended up with a vehicle that was not repaired. Ultimately, we made the difficult decision not to move forward with the additional fuel pump repair because we had already invested more into the vehicle than it was worth. I encourage anyone considering this shop to ask detailed questions about the diagnostic process, request in detailed writing all testing that has been done.
