I started out with a tire that had a hole or screw stuck in it. Purchased top of the line new tire from Mavis. They never got it right. It was the seal, etc. And this SUV was always kept in the garage. Had to take it back to Mavis 2 more time yet always with the same result - new tire flat within a day! Bad customer experience and extremely time consuming. But led me to the best car fixers around - Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers (they offer full service too). I discovered Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers on SR 64 East in Bradenton. I spoke to the crew and found out it was full service after I told them about the tire problems. I needed a new battery since it sat in the garage (me thinking it was ready to go-NOT). Same new tire, purchased at Mavis, was consistently flat within 24 hours. Express Oil Change even offered to come out and give me a jump and take it in to fix the new tire. But I used AAA and they dropped it off. The knowledge of the crew is top notch! They noticed other things that were wrong and after our conversation and estimate, fixed those too! And again, at a GREAT PRICE! It is FULL SERVICE, not only oil change and tires. Their expertise saved me tons of money and the their vast knowledge of cars is exceptional. Plus, they did it all in one or two days. Can't argue with that! I brought my car here a few weeks ago with coolant leak and overheating issues. I dealt with Antonio who was unpleasant, emotionless, and robotic. He ran tests & determined the solution would be a new radiator. $800. Nearly all the money in my bank account. I was beside myself, but I need my car, so I got the new radiator. Within a couple days, my car was leaking coolant & overheating again. PLUS, I had some brand new issues with my thermostat/temperature control. Brought it back, hoping the $800 I already gave them would still hold any value. Antonio took a look & informed me that they'd charge me another $1000 to fix my current issues. Don't TRUST those guy, they wan to take advantage of your MONEY at any cost. I They knew that the AC compresor was bad and they recommended to change the serpentine belt. I'm not a mechanic so I said yes to the serpentine belt, I drove mi car for 15 minutes and the serpentine belt broke you know all implications (towing, rent a car, etc..) went there first thing in the morning, the manager with very bad mood said that they don't respond for anything not even the parts. I spent $320 for a 15 min ride... great guys They are very irresponsible, why they change something that they knew is not going to work, there supposed to be the "EXPERTS" I really REGRET to have business with this "place" read more

Great service, great customer service and very friendly! I even pointed out an issue my side door had and he fixed it! They check your lights to make sure it all works and air filter. Everyone was very nice and helpful but they screwed on the bottom panel on so I had to go back which for me defeated the purpose of paying more money to get a 10min oil change. Been going to express for a while now don't get me wrong there great for oil changes in a timely and efficient fashion, but mechanics lack dedication by far. Went into express about 3-5 months ago to see about removing a spark plug that was stripped in the head of my vehicle. They were gonna charge me $1700. I saved the money came back some months later and was denied because it was too much liability? Maybe I just went on a day where Jim the lazy mechanic was there I'm not sure! I was in from out of town and knew I needed brakes, because I normally take my car to the dealer for servicing. The dealer quoted me a price, so I knew a ballpark on what to expect. I brought the car to Express on a friends recommendation, just to get an oil change. So I asked how much it would cost for brakes, I was blown away at the quote. The quote was cheaper then the dealer and that even included new front rotors. I saved so much money on the brakes I decided to get 4 new tires. After I had the work done I drove back to Palm Beach county and it was like driving the car when I first bought it. As for the crew I have nothing but great words for them too. They said it was a tire issue I got to my shop and they said it wasn't the tires, one of the employees went about 30 miles an hour with my dodge dart, and bent one of my covers on my under carriage. highly to not recommend this place ! read more

I had an appointment, confirmed by a reply email, for an oil change and tire rotation. The tire rotation was supposed to be free, due to a coupon. They did the oil change and then said that they couldn't rotate the tires because they didn't have an open bay. I stated that I had an appointment, so the technician went and spoke with the manager. The manager never came out to speak with me. The technician simply said they couldn't do it and I'd have to come back. This is not good service and making an appointment was a total waste of time.
