Sitting here on a Saturday morning. Website shows open at 7:30 am. Been here 13 minutes at the writing of this review. Can see employees moving around but no one has come to service my car yet. No one else here for service except me. I guess open at 7:30 doesn't mean open for business. I came early because of a tight schedule today. Needed new wheel bearings and tires on my Subaru. They did a great job and gave me a decent price on my tires. The car is so much quieter now and drives beautifully. The price seemed a bit high, but they warranty their work so it was worth the extra cash. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! My truck was making weird noises coming from the belt so I took them my truck and they called me back said I needed a new alternator and that would just be the start. they were asking for 1,100 dollars so I picked my truck up and took it to a real mechanic and all I actually needed was a new belt and battery. i took a tire of my car it had a flat the tire where installed by express oil tires i had my self they installed them did a good job i check in at Gardendale express first when they said they would take fixing tier then after 30 minutes the person said the charge would be 36 dollars i said there was to be no charge as they installed the tires i said i could not pay that he i will place back in you truck i said i want to talk to the manger he said he was the asst celled manger he said the tire was 4 years old and the y are not allowed to fix it but 36 dollars they could i could believe it as i done a lot of business. Also i had an other car they installed the tires with them and fixed a flat free but they could this tire was old also i am also old and could not believe what the where saying trying to get flat for the tire i bought in again i always receive great fast service for 30.00 dollars they could fix they but they are not alwig to fix 4 year-old tire . thanks for you help on this matter read more

My BMW rental car was getting a "coolant level low" message, so I pulled into Express Oil at 7:30am. The tech was great. He checked the level (it was slightly below the "Min" level), topped off the coolant, and didn't charge me anything. All done within a few minutes of pulling in. read more

My hood and front bumper is stained with oils form a oil change and he dogged my question if he used full synthetic for my Car that I've have always paid for for $ 70 four plus years. Charge me 24 dollars for just oil and much fees turn into 64 something. Oil cap look different as well. I take care of my care and just drove by into town to visit and this is what I get. Upon moving to this side of town I needed to find a well rounded service shop. Hands down this place is amazing!!!!!! Every service member is genuine, extremely helpful and knowledgeable of all things car. I've faithfully given my business to them for the past year and they've served me well. I've had both expensive car maintenance and basic oil changes for the longevity of my car without hiccup. The prices are completely fair and unbeatable. Though I stop in for moments at a time, I feel as though my car is cared for and it will remain in good standings until the wheels fall off! I called about getting my ac fixed and a check up (idk anything about cars so that's what I was told to say) and they couldn't even give me an estimate for it. So when I came into the shop I tell them "hi I'm here for a check up" and tell me why these men laugh in my face and some customer says "it's ok some of us say stupid things" and one of the guys behind the counter agreed with her while laughing. The man I was talking to then said "what kind of checkup" talking to me like I was a dumb kid and I told him the issues with my car, he took my keys, and I had to stay in the waiting room for 4 hours. A few employees then came into the waiting room and started being really loud then started pushing around the snack machine trying to get a snack out cause his money was stuck. Now I was in there the entire time without hearing from any employee about my car or how long the wait would be. When they finally came back to me I had to pay over $300 just for my ac to be fixed and a checkup. Honestly terrible customer service and even though they told me to come back to "check on the ac" I'll never be back. Them laughing in my face was incredibly disrespectful and I'd be very recommend this to anyone read more

Wow. Do not use them for any engine repairs. Simple repair was to be made. Told us it was ready. Oil blows all over the engine. This happens 3 times. We were told it was fixed. Then were told after the 3rd try its going to cost extra. 1900.00 to fix the engine o rings. We paid 484.00. First visit,59.99 was for Level 1 diagnostics, we were told what showed up that needed repaired. During the repair They stripped 3 of the bolts on the passenger side of the valve cover. When we called to let them know what had happened the first time. He admitted they had a problem with the bolts. Was very defensive wanting to know who had worked on the car previously. Know this, my car was using oil but not leaking, blowing out oil all over the engine passenger side. Oil had leaked out all over the drive way. I made them pay for a wrecker to come get my car the first time. Ok we get the call its fixed. Very same thing happens. Oil blown out all over engine. They stripped the bolts and did not know or care to fix them. I have been told by a friend that worked there, do not take your car to Express for any engine repairs. Never had a problem with oil changes by them but for myself and family we will never use them again. If I knew how to post picks of the engine and the 2 new huge oil spills I would. So disappointed. Taking my car to someone that will fix it the first time. Not try and screw you out of extra cost for parts and labor by what they usually are supposed to charge. I stopped by here Saturday morning to have the oil changed and new wipers installed. One of the guys greeted me outside to inquire about services needed and I was directed to pull into the garage. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional they immediately took my information and throughout my time there explained the services they were providing. I usually take my vehicle to the dealer for all maintenance but had let time lapse so I decided to take it here. I'm glad I did! Outstanding customer service sets you apart from the rest... We bought tires here and have been getting them rotated and balanced (Supposedly).About a year ago ,I told them there was a noise coming from one of the tires. They told me it was coming from the front wheel hub and wanted to charge $3**.00 . I told them I would replace it and I did. I couldn't really see or feel anything wrong but they had convinced me it was bad so I replaced it. Noise was not as loud but seemed to be coming from the rear now. Fast fwd to now, I was changing the oil the other day and noticed the bad tire on the front . Never has anyone told us we had a bad tire on any of the reports. I marked all 4 rims and took it to get Rotated and balanced ,told Craig about my problem and he acted like he knew nothing. Came back to pick up car and they rotated the side I complained about but didn't touch the other side. I called Craig to the car to ask him why they didn't and he said I saw the mechanic Do the Job. I showed him the tick marks and he called the mechanic over there and proceeds to tell me I have two bad tires and he left the other one on the back. Still no notes on the paperwork about bad tires. I talked to him again about the front hub and he acted like a Jerk and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. This place is crooked and I will never do business with them again. File's Discount Tires has all my business now. read more

I got new tires for my Toyota Corolla here. Great Customer service and quality of work. I had some minor issues after with my tire pressure indicator light and they were quick to resolve the issue. Craig is the person who helped resolve the issue and it is apparent that customer satisfaction is his main priority. read more
