Today I had a tire that had been punctured and needed another tire, and once again they took very good care of me. One thing I have noticed about Omega Tires over the years is something you do not find everywhere. The moment a customer walks through the door, someone acknowledges them and says hello. You are not left standing there wondering whether anyone has noticed you or is going to help you. They make you feel welcome from the moment you come in. I don't know a great deal about cars, tires, or motor vehicles, but I do know when I am being treated respectfully and fairly. I have always felt that Omega Tires treats me honestly and fairly. I have never felt taken advantage of, and I have confidence that what I am being charged for is what I actually need. I have never been unhappy with any tire Omega Tires has sold me, and I have never felt that I overpaid. I have always felt that I received good value for my money. Eddie, the manager, is always so nice. I really cannot think of anything negative to say about him. He treats customers with respect and even makes a point of asking whether you are comfortable while you are waiting. When I left today, he said, We'll see you later. It's a small thing, but that kind of friendliness makes a difference. Flo, who works out in the garage area, is also very nice and treated me very well. Another thing I appreciate is that the wait is not long. Even when they have several customers, they do a very good job of getting people taken care of without making them wait unnecessarily. They even worked outside in the snow to install the wheels. Tires come with installation and balancing. Calling ahead for sizing and availability would be a good idea; however, after walking through their warehouse to pick out my preferred set, I'd say that they are well-stocked. You might even find a match for your current set if you're only replacing two and you have a common size wheel. The walkthrough revealed that they keep things more organized and tidy than most mom-and-pop shops. Only negatives here are that they only offer a 7 days warranty (competitors in this space typically offer 30) and that you don't know the history of the tire (but that's the deal when you're buying wholesale or pull-off tires). Overall, quick service (in and out in less than 20 minutes), and a great value: was able to get great-looking, low-mileage, name-brand tires (Toyo 225/55R18 with probably 70% tread remaining) for only $80. Two tires, balanced and installed, for less than the price of a single generic brand tire before tax at retail, and even less than the $100 you'd pay at a competitor.
