I wasn't gonna leave a review but decided to tell my story to help the next person out. I took my truck to get an alignment and wheel balancing. The balancing didn't go well, as the truck still hopped a little around 80mph, so I took it back. They realigned it and it made a difference, so I was ok. A few days later, I looked at a wheel and a center cap was missing a bolt. 3 other center caps were cracked to where the bolts didn't secure the caps anymore. I just sat there like, "...now, why wouldn't they tell me this?" Point: plastic center caps crack ALL the time! It's not a big deal. The manufacturers are the problem, being cheap and not wanting to reinforce the caps...as if they want to make money selling us new center caps all the time. I have 6 cars, and two have plastic center caps. You must gently put them on, or they crack if you over-tighten, even slightly. The person at Discount didn't know this, so when they cracked three of my caps, they tried to conceal it by not telling me (and just making the bolt look like it was on correctly). I was NOT UPSET at the cracked cap. Get that out the way, first. I ordered two new caps and had a spare cap in my garage from my spare tire. They aren't expensive at all. Just $35 each, so I bought two new ones online. The next day, I went to Discount - not to get reimbursed - but to show/tell the manager (Tyler, I believe) about the plastic center caps being broken. I wasn't upset about it breaking, but more upset about the tech not telling me it was broken. THINGS BREAK and I get it: plastic is cheap and the manufacturers are wrong for doing our wheels like this. I told him I already bought new ones, but if he could just run it by the guys to BE CAREFUL with plastic center caps, as many have no reinforcment and they will snap/crack. He understood. He felt bad. I wasn't looking for reimbursement, but he asked me how much I paid and reimbursed me! I was not expecting that because I work on cars and I know how plastic will snap. Again, I own 6 cars and I do 99% of the work myself. I'm ok with things breaking, but not ok with concealing the fact that it was broken. Tyler understood and apologized and paid me for the two caps I bought. To me, that was more than I expected and truly genuine for him to offer and to do that for me. In my opinion, the manufacturers need to reimburse us all because cheap is cheap. They need to make center caps with reinforced holes or they need to make them in aluminum. The person that broke mine clearly didn't realize this about plastic center caps and it was not intentional at all. But the concealment of the damage was intentional and that's what upset me. Breaking it? Nah. I was ok with that. It happens. The fact that Tyler made it a point to resolve it AND to have a talk with the techs made the bigger difference. Not all customers would have been so understanding about a broke piece of plastic, but owning multiple cars, I get it. I appreciate Tyle and I appreciate Discount for taking the time to listen and to train the techs to save people the headaches of small mishaps. Things happen, and that's just how life is. That's why replacement parts are sold: because things happen. But we just have to teach our young men to accept responsibility and not hide it. I'm old. Tyler (the manager) is about 10 to 15yrs younger than me. His techs are probably 10 to 15yrs younger than HIM, so we need to pass these lessons down from generation to generation. Tyler understand why I was there: it wasn't for the money, but I appreciate him reiumbursing me. I just needed at first for my tire to be filled so I could have the other one I had purchased installed because my tire couldn't hold any air when I was informed that they weren't able to do that. I asked if they changed my spare and they told me that they couldn't even do that. I would assume it's because they don't know how to or because they would rather overcharge for simple labor. read more

The crew at this location is the best. They're very professional and friendly, never make me feel rushed, and do their best to provide an efficient experience. I get that sometimes things happen and businesses get backed up, but, I had an appointment yesterday to get the tire sensor battery replaced. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment, got checked in, and was told that it would be at least another hour and a half before they could get my car back. What's the point of an appointment if you're not going to honor the appointment? Told them I could not wait and could I possibly make another appointment at a time when they were not so backed up. So, the gentleman entered all of the information into the computer and we made an appointment for 815 this morning. He specifically said all of the information would be in the computer so all I had to do was come in, give my phone number, they would take the car back and it would be less than 45 minutes. I wasn't available, but my husband took the car in. They acted as though they had no idea why we were there. He gave them my phone number so they should have been able to access everything that we had talked about the day before, but they still continued to act as though they had no idea why we were there. They finally figured it out and, my husband sat there for over an hour with the car still sitting in the parking lot. He finally went up and asked them how long it was going to be and they said that they "had so many 8 AM appointments so it was going to be a while longer". Why are you making more appointments than you can handle? So what I was told would take 45 minutes yesterday and ended up taking almost 2 hours today. read more

Discount Tire are great as they price match competitors' prices on the tires I need. They have nice friendly staff, very professional, and get the installation job done well. I have confidence in their work and I always go back there. As I have an AWD, the tire warranty doesn't make much sense, because they recommend changing all 4 tires at the same time to keep the AWD drivetrain working well, but the warranty would only replace or repair the damaged tire (not all 4) if I had a problem in the future. Hopefully my tires have some luck and I don't have any flats or nails etc!! Recommended as a good reliable place for tires and installation. read more

TLDR: friendly staff patched my tire for free w/o appointment in just over 1.5hrs on a busy Saturday Walked in on a Saturday afternoon because my tire pressure had been dropping 15 psi (concerning!) since the morning. They have a text message system for updates, although "bayed out" meant still parked in the parking lot. Spent about +1 hr waiting for the car go into the bay, and another 30 min for them to assess and patch the tire for free! Many walk-distance stores/shops if you don't want to wait in the lobby. Fridge with water available as well. Friendly and attentive staff, despite how busy they were. Horrific service!! Sorry guys but I wanted to give you 5 stars however, service was Horrific!!! I went to get air and order tires since another location didn't have what I needed in stock, but before I could go inside to order, I decided to get air first. There was only 1 vehicle at the air station which, had a trailer hitch on the end so I expected it, to take a longer time for my turn but never 30 min to sit 2 tires. I sat in line (being next up) along with others who pulled up behind me, for close to 30 min waiting for air while I watch the air staff standing around chit chatting amongst one another. The guys then, went to air 2 tires on the trailer and just like magic, suddenly they were done. Here I am, expecting them to air more tires... sooooo you mean to tell me that, you're only adding air into 2 tires but we're in line watching you chit chat instead of working?!!! Make it make sense!!! Although, I still tipped the guy just because I try to be a good human, I still am here to provide feedback for providing Horrific service!!! Please train the air tag team to get the air into tires and to keep things moving along, because this is unacceptable!!! I was so disappointed that I never made it out of the car to go in and order tires because, if it takes this long for tires to be aired, I can imagine the time it takes to have tires placed on. Who wants to wait an entire shift to have them place tires onto the vehicle? This is the worst location I've gone to a the other locations are did on being customer's in and out with no delays. I went to Discount Tire today and had a terrible experience. I called ahead and was told patching my tire would be free. When I arrived, Luis rushed through the inspection, didn't listen to my needs, and tried to upsell me on three new tires. I agreed to patch the leak and replace just one tire. Later, I got a call saying they installed the wrong size tire, overcharged me, and couldn't even patch the original tire. I ended up paying for two new tires I didn't plan for because of their mistake. This was supposed to be a quick, simple fix. Discount tire is always there to make sure you have air on the road. QT is the only other place that offers it really and they ALWAYS have their hoses broken and cut. I'd go to them no matter what. They are very unorganized. I ordered a tire. They told me it will be in later that day. Went back the 3rd time today, they took off my old tire, then tell me they can't find my new tire. After going to Firestone and other big chain tire places for a flat tire replacement, this Discount Tire location was the only one with kind and professional employees who were happy to help. The manager is top notch and the time estimates by the employees were spot-on. Nice waiting area with cold AC and free water bottles as well. Perfect for when you need a repair in the summer. Thanks to Jason at Discount Tire for helping me address my tire needs. Discount Tire had clear Covid-19 safety protocols in place, including contactless check in and plexiglass dividers inside. Jason helped by inspecting the vehicle and diagnosing why I needed new tires in the first place (echoing what my mechanic had told me as well). He then helped me review the options for replacement, I ultimately decided on Falken tires which were the right mix of quality, price, and warranty. Also, having purchased tires at Discount in the past, they were able to look up how old my prior tires were to see if they were still covered by warranty.
