I love this place when it comes to shipping things out. Every time my gf and I go in there we are helped by the friendliest folks there. They go above and beyond ensuring we dot our I's and cross our T's when shipping things. The one thing I really appreciate is they don't try and upsell us on anything and quite frankly do the opposite. Great service and great prices. This all-service postal center (except for ups) provides a lot of convenient services for the area. Beware of the owner though, I believe he has some kind of a personality disorder issue. He's ALWAYS abrasive, controlling, and seeks to make things unnecessarily complicated and difficult. I have gone here many times and 8 times out of 10 I don't have to deal with him, but every time I do it's a TERRIBLE experience. The other staff are helpful, easygoing, and efficient. This is the only post office in Golden Hill I knew, and a couple times I had very poor customer service here. Especially from the owner himself. It makes me really sad that when ppl know they are not getting any profit from you to just treat you with no respect and in extremely rude way. The package I sent was lost. It's a cool lil shop with neat gifts you can give. Right now you can't go inside cause of Covid but they have everything set up at the door so the employees can assist. Tried this place for the first time today! What a rip off!! Why would you pay $6 more to mail anything! Not only that, there was a less expensive faster delivery option and the little hipster behind the counter decided I didn't need to know about that. Then actually said to me, "youre complaining" I love my hood, it's too bad this place is raping us with their prices and putting us down with their unprofessional words!! BEWARE. Let me start by saying that I have never rated a place 1 star, so hopefully that lends some legitimacy to my review. I used to go to this place a lot to ship out packages and returns. On more than one occasion I've thought the guy running the place was ripping me off, but I like to support local businesses so I'm willing to pay more for convenience. He recommended I not use the post offices "if it fits, it ships" boxes to save money and instead had me put all of my stuff into one of their envelopes. After charging me for all of the shipping supplies, it ended up costing me more than the post office boxes and took twice as along to arrive as the other package I sent out on the same date. I was pissed when it cost more, but what can you do when its all taped up? BUT what caused me to basically come UNGLUED, was when I went to ship my Application to sit for the Bar. I took it in on the 29th of October and it had to be post marked by Nov. 1. Well, I got a call from the state bar of my home state about 2 weeks later saying that the envelope hadn't been post marked until Nov. 2nd and that it was going to cost an extra $250 to re-file it late. That means it took not only the 29th, or the 30th, or the 1st, but finally, on the third day, my application made it to the post office. I suppose it's partly my fault for not having the sense to take it to the Post Office directly, but I would never have thought in a million years something like this would have happened. What REALLY chapped my a$$, however, was the smug attitude the owner gave me when I confronted him about this. He basically said it was my fault because I didn't mail it certified. There was never any offer to compensate me for the loss, even though he admitted that he had cameras and could verify I brought it in when I said I did. Instead of taking ownership for the error, regardless of fault, he simply blamed the post office. You don't have to do many things right when you operate a postal annex, but one thing you do have to do is actually mail the letters people trust you to mail. read more

I have to update this review and give them some love now that I am a regular customer. My previous review still holds up, but after two visits here this week, I think I need to comment on the perks of using Express Postal Business Center on a regular basis. You see, I do the same things for work over and over. When it comes to signing paperwork and getting official documents to HQ, I look no further than these guys to handle the shipping. All the important addresses, contact names, my info and anything else that we need to access are all on file and easily pulled up. Once we know that it's queued up to go to the right place I am given a variety of shipping options with different price ranges. We decide what works best and viola, it's off and running. Everything has always made it to its final destination on time and when promised. Express Postal Business Center, a well oiled machine. read more

Important news for UK and Canadian passport holders! Brady Mahaney, who runs this business can print off passport photos to the size required by the UK and Canadian authorities, (45mmx35mm). It ain't cheap (more than twice what you would pay in Costco or CVS), but most other places only do 2"x2". read more

What a f'ing RIP OFF!!! I went in yesterday to fax a 12 page police report to a toll free insurance 800 # and I was charged $19!!!!!!!! When I asked the sales associate about the cost she stated that she was told by the owner to charge me for a long distance fax. Paying for the fax wasn't the issue, but up charging me for a long distance fax is in very poor taste. I'm never going back there. What a bunch of douchbags that want to nickel and dime the locals that support their company. Never again. read more

Great Postal Place! This is the only time in my life that I can say I have actually enjoyed going to the post office! It has that neighborhood-y vibe to it and is locally owned and operated. The owner is a nice guy and chatted with me while I was shopping around for boxes and checking out the art on the walls.
