We gave them a date of when we wanted to stop our service and since it was less than the full 2nd month, they gave us back a few bucks to compensate. The storage facility is very secured. Its a one code to use thats easy to memorize as its your own code to get into the facility, out of the facility, and use the elevator. Unfortunately when youre moving things out and into the elevator, its timed. So you have to rush to use the code, get yourself into the elevator, and click that floor button. Side note: there is limited parking inside so if youre having a lot of people help you, be mindful.

I started googling "moving app" and bellhops was the first to pop up. OMG. LIFESAVERS. They were immediately in contact with me, and told me it was going to be tough on such late notice but they were there working hard to find someone. It was stressful, but they called me an hour before the time scheduled and said they had 2 guys for me! The price is well worth it and these people really know what they are doing. Our big studio took about 2 hours to load into the small uhaul and about 45 mins to unload at our new place. They moved all of the big furniture and didn't leave a scratch on anything! Before I get started if your considering this company DONT here is why. Mark Kaplan came to my home and went through each room making his own notes on everything I required moving. I gave him full access to every nook and cranny and let him make his own notes as I wanted the company to also pack my belongings. Based on his finding he then sent me a quote which was initially very attractive, it comes with a full page Guaranteed price (OR SO I THOUGHT). The day came for removal and they turned up on time and packed all my belongings and off the truck went. 3 days or so into our journey as we were driving to Florida I get a call from Mr Kaplan "It seems we needed to use a lot more boxes than estimated" was the gist of the conversation. Well you provided the estimate and if anything I have reduced my inventory not increased it so its not my fault I replied. You then get a call from Amanda Rey. We have a problem there were more boxes than intended its and extra $2295.00 (THE CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH). At this point you are well and truly S.....d !! they have your belongings on a truck and you wont see it unless you pay the extra. They will tell you, they will open a claim (give you a false claim number but will never do anything with it, see later). So I paid and my belongings turned up, in fairness the team unloading were very good except when they purposely mentioned they had taken my TV's out of a wooden crate in the van ( long story but Kaplan told me my 4K TV's would need a wooden crate which did not happen and when I complained about this lo and behold it was mysteriously in the van, well I went out to the van there was no wooden crate to be seen, MORE LIES and DECEIPT). So now the full reveal begins, as we started to unpack the reason for the extra boxes became very clear. Cross Country Movers are experts in packing boxes with PAPER !! not your belongings or not much but lots and lots of paper (see photographs) not only that they can wrap a single plastic bowl in 4 sheets of paper and a single plastic lid in 3 sheets of paper (so they wont break!!) and then they stuff it full of more paper. So it went on and on, we have bags and bags of paper not small bags 60 gallon bags. Stay well away from this company they will rip you off. BIG TIME

Moved to Tacoma and boyfriend booked this company. Only needed to move a bedroom set but needed disassembled and reassembled (to fit thru doors). Condo is a bit of an inconvenience in this regard. Company was prompt and courteous, and I was ready to be super happy with them but I was disappointed that out of two night stands and a bed with storage (Queen, 6 drawers) and mattress: mattress cover was stained with grease in one spot (the mattress was wrapped?!), large scuff on one nightstand, smaller scuff on the other. Several marks on the drawers. I booked to avoid the hassle of doing this myself. When I initially bought the furniture a lot of it came from the store unwrapped so I thought movers would have a similar level of care (what's the diff? I spoke to Jason and Steve who is the owner of the company. They ensure me that the quote is accurate and no other tax or fee will be added. They told me not to worry and everything will be straight forward and smooth transaction. Obviously not happening after the crew finish the work. The crew start working at 9am and finish at 12:10am and then call the office for the final charge. The move is from Storage to unload at residential home. I thought it would be easy and smooth transaction. Just labors and truck. Nothing complicate. The branch manager call for the total of 1235$ which combine all fee that is not even in the quote. I believe this is a Shady and scandalous way of doing business. I should believed some other bad review on yelps and Google. At the end they lower the price to 1081$. The calculation that I got from my calculation is 3hours and 10 Mins + 1 hour of travel fee = $950. I didn't use any of packing material. I only use the labors+truck. This actuall pisses me off. I just paid them 1081$ just to get it over with. The only good thing about this transaction is Erick and his crews are very curtious and polite. They work fast. I have another loading coming in from out of state. I think I better use any other company. They promised me of 10% discount. You have to be crazy to use them again.
