We did a walk through before starting the move and went over what all needed to be moved. They were honest and raised concerns about moving our tv as it's pretty thin, and took extra precautions to pack it. Nothing was damaged during the move. My move was scheduled for a 1-3pm arrival window, but the movers ultimately did not arrive until around 6:40pm. I understand that afternoon moves can run late due to earlier jobs taking longer than expected, but I was disappointed that I had to repeatedly reach out myself throughout the afternoon and evening to get updated ETAs. The arrival time kept shifting later, which made the day fairly stressful and difficult to plan around. The delay also effectively consumed the entire day waiting for updates. If I had known earlier in the day that the move would be pushed so late into the evening, I would have adjusted my plans significantly and started moving some smaller items myself rather than spending the day waiting for revised ETAs. Once the movers arrived, the actual move itself went smoothly. They were professional, handled my belongings carefully, and everything arrived safely without damage. Communication during the move was somewhat limited because they spoke very little English, but we were able to manage using Google Translate. The move took about 4 hours total, finishing around 11pm, which was much later than I expected for a relatively short move with one flight of stairs at each location and about a 10-minute drive between apartments. Most of my items were already packed and ready to go. Because the move ran so late into the evening, I was also concerned that the noise from the moving carts and truck would disturb my new neighbors. The company did provide a discounted hourly rate because of the delay, which I appreciated, although the discount felt fairly limited given the length of the delay and the lack of proactive communication throughout the day. Overall, I think the movers themselves did a good job, but the significant delay and communication issues made the experience more frustrating than expected.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. I packed all except the furniture very well. Every piece wrapped and boxed. I researched the value for broken items and came up with almost $1000. Found out they only pay 60 cents per pound. Did not cover much at all. Even cabinet they wrapped was damaged. Items were to be stored in Lynnwood but were actually stored in Tukwila. Travel time more $.

Two men did the work. They arrived on time. They presented well, were professional, courteous and worked hard throughout the entire process. They carefully packed all my belongings taking time not to damage anything. Not only did they move my items with a very short turn around time but I paid extra for them to take some items to the dump for me! I cannot say enough about how impressed I was the whole process from booking the job until it was finished was worth every penny spent.. the price was fair as well... I highly recommend them

The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners.
