Came here to replace a blistered tire with a used one. Saw a technician work on another car and the jack he was using slipped. That car dropped down with an audible crunch and its side body became dented around the jack. I'd be upset if that happened to my car. read more

I just wrote a review for the repair shop next door and it reminded me that I never got around to praising this tire spot right next door. I was driving around with a flat tire in the back for almost a year. I would add air to it and visit a tire shop every other month only to be told that there is no hole in the tire, yet the gauge would say the pressure is dropping daily. I thought maybe it's just the sensor, but my gas mileage for the car was abysmal, too. Anyway, after spending probably $200 in visits to tire shops to have them take the tire off, soap it up, and tell me there's no hole and charge me half price to air it up and put it back on, when I got a second flat on another tire I pulled up to this place. I'll be honest, the first guy said there's no hole either. Then, another guy came over, and it's been a few months now so I forgot the names and for that I am very sorry, but he spotted the hole in like, no exaggeration, in 1 SECOND. I'm talking about a tire hole that 15 other people couldn't find, looking for a combined hour or two. The guy saw it IMMEDIATELY. As fast as a blink of an eye. I can't convey the speed in a way that feels satisfying enough to me, that's how fast he saw it. Anyway, long story longer.. tires fixed, price super super reasonable especially for a change of a tire and 1 patch. I think it was something like $80. The whole thing took 10-15 minutes, plus they took me in just before closing time. Somehow I have a habit of showing up for auto repair right before the place is closing and the guys want to go home. Finally got the tire fixed, got a go to flat tire place on the island, didn't feel ripped off. Good stuff. read more

Had a very slow leak. Called and went right in. They diagnosed that the leak was coming from by the rim and was very good in explaining everything to me. Turns out the last place (firestone ) used a plug instead of the patch i had requested so i had that fixed too. Im a new customer here now! read more

As the other reviews said, they really are the most honest and kind people. I know close to nothing about cars, other than that my tire air light said that it was low. Sal was most helpful and did only what was necessary to fix my tire. He could've easily added more costs, but he showed me the issue and quickly resolved it. Terrible service! They upcharge the price and rip people off. The owner makes up prices as they go. Depending on who comes in for the job. Had a patch done for $40! Outrageous price. When I went up to the owner to pay, I said how much do I owe you? He said "$30, I mean $40" I said if course, it should have been around $25-$30 job but you just overcharged me because you felt like you can ". Stay away! I went to get a new tire which was a special order tire. One guy quoted me a price and I told him I'd come back later. When I did, a different gave me a price was 20 dollars more. I said to the first guy I was told for the less amount and he said just listen to whatever the second guy say. In the end, I paid more than changing a new tire at dealership. They just rip you off. I had a flat tire due to a small crack I had on my rim... called them in to make sure they were still open and to make sure they fix such problem and how long will take they told me they are open till 7pm and they fix it within 24 hours in most cases but he did offer me a spare so I can leave mine in to be repaired and I still have my car. Hit a pothole, blew out the tire and bent the rim as wel. I gotta tell ya, these guys are pros. They know what they're doing. Ray and Neil were a pleasure to deal with in this situation. They explained that the rim could be fixed and replace the tire within a 24hr period. They also put on my spare tire so I could keep driving my car while the rim is being restored. The price was much much better compared to some other places like Empire Tire not far from there. I got my wheel back the next day, just as promised. I bought 4 tires from them 3 months ago and I just went to get my car inspected and it's not passing inspection because 3 out of 4 of them are dry rotted. I called to see if I can exchange or get my money back and they told me there is nothing they can do because it was three months ago and I should have checked the tires before they put them on my car (which I tried to do but the dude told me it was the only tires they had in that size). Like what? I'm not the tire expert here and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell someone unsafe tires. They should be checking before selling them to customers and clearly they aren't. After that he proceeded to tell me that the guy that was doing my inspection was lying to me to try and rip me off (when he literally pointed out the dry rot). They literally put blame on everyone but themselves.The manager or owner or whoever I was talking to was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Now I'm out $300 and stuck with crusty tires that won't pass inspection. Don't get tires from here unless you want to be ripped off. read more
