I needed a 30+ year old rather large awning replaced. It's motorized and can extend out 12 feet and is almost 35 feet wide. The front and back porch awnings of the house we bought had been removed to sell it. Manny did a great job repairing a hole in one of our awnings created by a broken roof tile that fell off during a storm last winter. We had to repair a hole in the awning in the same spot in 2018 for the very same reason and a different awning company patched the hole by gluing awning material over and under the hole after sewing the hole closed. That patch didn't hold very well because water would leak through and collect on top of the patch under the awning. Manny came up with (I think) a creative solution. He used a piece of flashing that he glued in place over the hole and covered below with the torn awning material, creating a much stronger patch that matches the surrounding awning well. We weren't expecting a perfect match. The awning is 8 years old and will likely be replaced in the next 4-5 years. Manny came to the house and gave us a verbal offer after seeing the damage, arrived on time with his wife for the job, completed the patch in about 90 mins (more quickly than the estimate), and it looks great. He and his wife left the site clean and I and my wife happy. I fully expect we will ask them to replace all our awnings when time comes. read more

I had some very old fabric awnings on my 1920s house which had decayed to the point of falling apart. It would have been simple just to discard them but I felt that they add to the appearance of the house. I called five different awning companies. Two never answered my call, one said no once he found out about the type of awning, and another asked me to measure my own awnings for a quote. This wasn't true for MCS awnings. He came out right away, gave me a quote, and did a wonderful job. He even held onto the finished awnings for more than a month waiting for outside painting to be finished. Am I happy with the awnings? Yes! I'm more than happy as they're beautiful. He even helped find and weld on an iron spear that had been broken off over the years. Manny (Mcsawnings) replaced our existing awning at our front door. The new awning is 6 feet by 6 feet and four feet tall. He has excellent communication on scheduling and installation. The quality of work is excellent. He use galvanized bars and reinforced the bars due horizontal length. The canvas was stretched tight and did not use rope to tie it and used rivets. I would rate Mcs Awnings with zero stars. Manny Maldonado owner of Mcs Awnings is rude,obnoxious disrespectful,uncouth and totally unprofessional. I signed a contract with him on April 6, 2022 for the fabrication of two awnings. He proposed to initiate the job on April 14, 2022 and he did not show neither did he call to cancel or reschedule his start date. I had to contact him to find out why he no showed. I then emailed Manny personally to inform him that my painters intend to remove my old awning. I did not hear from him in over one week. Manny then lied to me stating that he sent me the written estimate when in fact he never did. Manny responded to me after two subsequent texts messages I sent to him to reinstall my awning once it's recovered. I then cancelled the contract because he appears to be indifferent, independent and arrogant, and especially since 16 years ago a previous awning company removed my awning's framework and covered it at there location, so in my opinion, it's impossible to recover an existing awning attached to a building. Yesterday April 15,2022 Manny Maldonado emailed me a sarcastic message insulting me, calling me out of my name, and stating that he didn't need my business anyway.
